I feel the need to be manly.

I feel the urge to be manly and watch some action D: I typically like martial arts mixed in as well. Ranma got my attention in that aspect, but it lacked a solid storyline, and with me storylines are important =x.

Stuff I consider in the genre would be...

Ranma
Bleach
Naruto
Erementar Gerade

....now that I think about it...I usually just watch romance anime and the like >_>
I've seen most of the action/romances IE: Fate Stay Night, Shakugan no Shana, Busou Renkin, etc etc. Looking along the lines of more pure action then anything else.

Thanks for the help

One Piece: 300+ episodes and no romance.

Getbackers: there's slight implication of romance, but not much. Mainly action and humor.

Full Metal Alchemist: Not really much romance, but action is limited as well.

Gungrave: really, one of the more "masculine" series out there.

Samurai Champloo: there's a bit of romance, but not a lot. Good action, though

Cowboy Bebop: same makers as Samurai Champloo

Samurai 7: there are hints of romance. Not really its theme, though

Just to add a side comment here, but, Blood+ can be extremely story-driven at some points.

So, I wouldn't exactly call it a "Pure Action" kinda show.

Yuuyuu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin feature manly men. Or manly boys, and even some manly girls.

Both are essentially pure action, in line with Bleach and Naruto.

I'll second Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken), and Berserk. Those are both pretty brutal.

First of the North Star has a lot of martial arts action in it, mixed with a good helping of post apocalyptic mathem. A bit old, but still good for what it is.

Berserk has a lot of gratuitous violence, and plenty of blood, plus a pretty neat storyline. It's a little older now too, but still very good.

Bastard!! has a fair portion of action, a nice chunk of fantasy, a little fanservice here and there, and a bunch of metal references (intepret: Funny but with enough to keep you going for the six episodes of the series). Sort of a silly swords and sorcery cartoon.

Tenjo Tenge has some insane fight scenes, and a lot of fan service if I remember right. What can be more manly than some T&A while smashing someone's face in?

That's about all I've got at the moment.
