hiya!.. i m now around here.. n my reaon for joining is some thing here that cought my intrest... cuz lately u kn new series comming out n such.. but i found out osme thing very very... funny that i did not kn till i saw this amv or some thign that some one made.. it turns out to b that i missed one of the series's season 2.. then i skped to season 3.. i was like omg?.. so then i was hopeing that i can find it here.. since one of my sorces told me that it has not been licenced yet.. (some how) but i look all over the place... culdent find it, tho i only found some on youtube.com but its in.. spanish.. tho i can watch it raw.. but prefer to b like subed.. meh.. any how. nice to meet u all here.. n hope i can get alog w/ u all just happly! xD... the sereis i m looking for is called magical girl lyrical nanoha A's
(yea i was like supprised.. wile watching the season 3 "magical girl lyical nanoha strikers" feeling that some thing is missing.. xD ) btw.. i dont really have that much online time so i havent have the chance to surfe all the sections here on this fourms.. n i would very very thankful that if some one can show me where i can get it or some thing like that... xD n agan.. nice to meet u all here.. *waves* |

 well my fav thing to do is watch anime i love it my fav one is naruto my fav character off of that is sasuke but i like anime alot i watch it on the computer all the time  well thats me for you  bye bye

Howdy!
I've browsed suki for a few years now, but decided to join the forum today. (I'm especially interested in Orguss DVD news!) Looks like a nice place. And it uses the same format as the toonzone.net forums where I'm also a member, so that's handy for me. I look forward to getting lots of great info here, and maybe even sharing some myself!

Yeah, I'm an oldie at 32, but to show you all younglings that even at this age you can still be a loser anime lover, here I am.
If anyone is old enough and into Adachi Mitsuru, I was the first "H2" online manga translator back in 95-97. I used to stop by Kinokuniya and read the weekly shonen and translate on the spot. Anyhow, last thing I translated was "Emma" (well, script checking) from episode 3 on with iichan/iitran because I loved that show and I saw a few wrong translations and I wanted to make EMMA better so my friends could enjoy it too. (without me intervening and saying "that's not what she said...") I'm here because I saw that EMMA ACT 2 was out and was trying to find a subbing group that needs a translator for EMMA 2, as I can't seem to find iichan/iitran online anymore =( Other than that I guess I could do some script checking on the side, but I would love to start up on EMMA ACT 2. Also fluent in Korean, Spanish, and Portuguese so I could work on those too if need be... but unlikely. EDIT: One thing I hate is when 95% of the subbers translate "suki" into "love" instead of "like". Whether culturally or literally, "suki" is NOT "love" ... "ai" is "love" when asked of why it is done, someone mentioned "because it has always been translated like that and we don't want to confuse the audience now" ... I just don't get following tradition for the sake of following tradition (even when wrong). yes, this little insignificant thing has been bothering me since the Ranma/Dragon Ball/Kimagure Orange Road days... lol |

For example "animesuki" is probably a backword translation of "Anime Love" so it should be "Animeai".. well too late now.
lol.. Animeai actually sounds cooler.. --------------------------------------- Welcome Xtain-chan.. if you're a translator then please delete all your pms and move your self to the Fansub Group section.. you should have 100groups near you in seconds. Don't forget to put on your shiny fansub armor.. those people are vicious.

Hello all members and staff at animesuki forum!
I'm a new here... my (net) name is "Furuno" (written with kanji "Furu (to fall)" and "Mono (thing)" but i'm too lazy to write it hahahaha....). Age currently 17. Homeland Indonesia, but i think i'll go to Japan next year to attend college there. Most favourite anime genre is bishoujo, romance, drama, mecha, action, and almost everything. Interest other than anime is computer. Currently possessing several programming skills such as Pascal, C, Basic, Java, (x)HTML, ASP, PHP, and SQL. My PC using self-modified slackware(slamd64) for anime usage  , i called it animeNUX, currently still in beta phase. Hope can release it someday haha...Most favourite momonet is downloading at over 100kbps. Most hated thing is Windows's bluescreen. Well... that's all for now... Looking forward to get along with you guys!

hiya peoples im another newbie to this place and from what ive seen it seems like something i can get behind. little about me im 18, anime taste is varied to mech,romance,comedy,and pretty much any kind of anime with a good plot. and always seem to have a habbit of sculpting what i like out of clay..although sense i demand perfection out of my creations i only have a small amount of what i have made..>.< pretty much anything else u wanna no pm me
