I get that, but I was talking about death, which is entirely different.
To explain, lets call the dimensions planes. Arthur became Saber yes, and yes appeared before Shirou. But she came from the past of the same plane as Shirou, just a different time. In death, she leaves that plane. She is gone forever from it, past, present, and future. So say she does get to go to an afterlife in a paradise. And the way you are saying, she would want Shirou there. For him to be there, one of two things would happen. One would be a copy, or fake. Maybe he would have all the memories, and act just like Shirou, but it would not be Shirou, and she would want the one she was with. Now you want the real one. Say he is not killed, but transported there. That would mean he dies in his plane or the living world and appears in the afterlife world. Even if it just means he disappears, technically he would still be dead. Do you understand what I am saying? For Saber to have the Shirou she was with and just not a Shirou made for her, he would have to die in his plane. |

Deep in thought.

It doesn't nessesarly mean he would have to die to be teleported there or whatever, since there is all sorts of magic. Couple be many different ways, death might just be one of them. If she wished Shirou was there, the magic of Avalon would grant that wish most likely.

Taking that train of thought, time is irrelevant. Therefore Shirou lives his full life (up to 30 something years old), grows up to look like Archer, then dies.
Then his soul finds Saber in the afterlife. So Shirou doesn't have to die before his time. |

This is Saber: I may not so, for I have promised to do the battle to the uttermost by the faith of my body, while me lasteth the life, and therefore I had liefer to die with honour than to live with shame; and if it were possible for me to die an hundred times, I had liefer to die so oft than yield me to thee; for though I lack weapon, I shall lack no worship. Middle English: liefer = rather worship = honour |
