Quick MKV sub question

Its not a big problem... But I use Virtual Dub Mod to merge 1 avi and 2 subtitle streams into MKV file, and when its done both sub streams have same name [English]... There is no difference if I rename them before merging...

Any help??? Is there some fancy way of naming those files in a correct way?

Also, is there any way to extract sub from MKV?

Use mkvtoolnix for muxing and demuxing MKV files (the stuff is dead easy to figure out, thanks to the awesome mmg). VDubMod is rather outdated for that kind of stuff...
