Man the awesomeness of the flip animation crushes my sigs :x

What do you use to animate? ImageReady? Flash? ImageReady is painful enough to animate IMO :P

Love all your shuffle flip sigs. Love the way you make the animation so smooth and WTF you even manage to keep it under 50kb without the sigs looking bad. Awesome skills and really creative sigs.

Well, that's a testament to the creator, yes?

The Flippy Sigs had more requests in general, but I think the Haruhi sig has most for one sig.

I use good old (and I really mean old, like ImageReady 3.0) ImageReady.

Mmm, sorry for the slow update. :x

Next would be my Kanon Spoilerious Sig Series. Because they're spoilerish, I'll put them in a spoiler tag in case someone hasn't watched Kanon yet.

Spoiler:

My first Kanon sig, representing the last scene in Mai's arc. The cropping of Hope's face was intentional, to add an aura of mystery. However Mai's face wasn't purposely left out. That's how it was in the scene I used. In hindsight, I should have chosen another scene where Mai's face is shown.

Oh yea, did I mention that animating the floating glowy thingy is hard? ;___;

Shiori's fountain scene is one of my favourite scenes. :3





Another fountain scene sig. Without the snow. : o





Yet another fountain scene sig. :x









It's Nayuki's turn. Animating the snow was really tedious, but at least I like the end result. Seems worth all the hair pulling. :3

Finally it's chibi Am- I mean uguuuu~'s sig. It's divided into so many sections, it looks like a jigsaw puzzle. :x

Btw, you should check the Deathkillz fountain scene - Shiori's head seems to be saved above the "Was" part of "Was i able to keep smiling?"

I think I've seen Vexx using something similar.. as well as a few others.

Certain anime *cough*Chocotto Sister*cough* have ecchi scenes, but because it was to be shown on TV, they added in the "Keep Out" tags to obstruct the naughty parts. Those were removed in the DVD versions as to entice people into buying. The "Keep Out" parodies were popularised by Galaxy Angel Rune's OP, which was Vexx's old sig you were refering to.

yeah those are the wind and water effect ones.

when u break the sigs apart, is the main purpose to make it easier to work with each section or are u able to cut down on kb alot?

and how do u get all the parts to line up when viewed online?

Why would there be a problem for them to line up?
Just drop a guide line in there and it's imposible to fail.

It's more because of the crap quality of the GIF format. For example, the Makoto sig:

Here, you can see the ugly gradient lines on Makoto's face if the whole sig is saved as one gif file.




Thus, I've divided the sig into 2 and saved the right side as JPG. This method can save a few kb, but the main reason is for the quality.

For the Ayu sig however, there are 2 animated portions, each with different number of frames. I did it this way because each portion requires a different number of frames for a complete loop.

O_O... Just compare the Canon and Shuffle animation , then you know how much Riker has advance in gif sig making ,thus making me acknowledge him having Unlimited Sig Works
