If it doesn't uninstall, it is a virus basically.

Files must be deleted, and the registry edited to ensure the virus/trojan is not reinstalled on startup.

It'd be easier to format and reinstall. If you choose this route, might I suggest something a little more secure.

Trojans, viruses, worms all need to be quarentined in the specific area that they are located. If they have corrupted the files that are in than those files are useless and must be deleted. Anti Virus programs do this, but since you dont have an anti virus program you are pretty much screwed. Reformating is your best option now do to the fact you cant quarentine it (blockade the virus)unfortunately. If this virus is causing you this much pblms it is the best choice. I hope you got your files backed up ^^;

er.... i have the latest Norton Anti-Virus scanner... with 1 yr of live update... however that anti virus site Slade gave me picked up a trojan in my computer when nortron said it deleted it.

El Diablo, can u give me some site or wat no on this "panda" anti virus program?

Looks like i must reformat... i think my Norton has been infected.... because it works better on my friend's comp. (and yes i have a better computer.)
