hmmm, it would be interesting if it was kankurou Gaara and Temari.

This is logical if when the sand surrendered to the leaf, they agreed to have sand shinobi help on leaf missions when possible and perhaps to help rebuild the leaf. In this instance, leaf called up sand and said send Gaara and his team, Oro's bieng a bitch. and perhaps there are even more sand shinobi inbound.

Even if that was possible, I dont think they could have gotten there that quickly.

Im almost completely certain that the pages are just in the wrong order. Maybe printed that way, or mixed up afterwards, but it just makes sense that way. All the speculation about some other people turning up is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the top.

I really hope someone actually did help Kiba, the story has been gettin pretty weak (the intro to this arc was awsome then went downhill from there) ... but there could be the possibility that sakon is right and kiba actually did sum up enough willpower to get in the water and let the stream carry him.

So, was it Sakon who was in Kiba when he inflicted himself, anyhow.... is he also bleeding... it was difficult for me to tell if they are in any way weak from what Kiba did....OR did Kiba's move just keep Sakon from killing Kiba?

Sorry if' this has been simply stated... but I'm perplexed as when those two smashed that tree it appears they have a lot of power.

Its more likely he's talking about Sakon and Ukon, I reckon.

I doubt Kiba has gone into teh stream though. He wouldnt have left his clothes there like that, its a bit weird. Im sure that fight isnt over, and he [Kiba] knows it, since Sakon hasnt gone after Tayuya / Kimimaro, and is still coming for him.

1) Kiba got rescued(Unlikely due to the jacket....They dont do something in a manga without a reason...it has some signifigance...we just dont realize it yet)
2)He went into the stream to escape down river where he can regroup and/or return to konoho(Unlikely since he sees it as his duty to stop Sakon at the most)
3)He stopped his bleedly some how and the jacket is giving off a scent or something traceable. Or he is about to do something that the jacet would hinder him with

I'll think of some more.

or maybe he did some basic genjitsu and just turned into the jacket. while making drag marks on the ground.

Possible,but do you think Sakon will really be fooled by that? If sakon doesnt check for genjutsu then he is a bigger newb then naruto ;D even tho he isnt too bad himself

No, his duty is to get back the barrel of Sasuke and run back to Konoha a.s.a.p. And last he saw, Naruto and Shikamaru had the barrel - he doesn't know about Kimimaro yet. It was NOT his duty to fight Sakon, it just happened that way. I'm sure his first priority right now is to protect himself and Akamaru and somehow rejoin his friends. So I don't see any reason why he wouldn't try to escape by any means necessary.

Well you also have to remember shikimaru's speach about each man has to take his own enemy on. Plus he is also the kind to beat on someone for the sake of beating on them...Hence the Chunnin second exam.

That was necessary to get Sasuke back. Now that Sasuke has been recovered, as far as Kiba knows, all he has to do is get out of the canyon and back to his group. Stupid Akamaru, it's all his fault for slipping on that branch. Bakamaru!!
