In addition to the Devil Bringer, his Devil Trigger seems more effective than Dante's, or at least, more flashy. They are great against boss fights, taking out chunks of life with one move.

You have to understand one thing, we are trikster players. We started 3 as triksters, we finished it as striksters, and we only switched for the lulz of it. We could finish off pretty much all bosses without getting hit once if we tried. Going from something like that to Nero, which relies on the 'lulz, one button kill' arm... the switch rivaled into the frustrating level.

Example being the fruit-boss, with Nero we got hit, with Dante we dodged everything the fruit lady had to throw at us, and finished her in record time.

As for his Devil Trigger being more effective... eh, thats subject to debate. Concidering his Bringer-moves get more powerfull as well, that could be true, but it relies -again- on the 'lulz, one button kill' arm. Otherwise? They're about equal in power, but Dante gets more hits in.

And Vergil... yes, I am damn well aware of that. Which makes the slap in the face they gave with Nero hurt that much more.

The boundaries of Vivio's blushes are quite visible. I'd say you need to use heal or clone there to fix it.

I just truncated all that to: I love Dante, because he's the classic Trickster, and it's the whole Trickster thing that makes DMC, DMC.

Why? Because that's my line.

Anyway, I think Nero is a bit on the main-stream hack and slash character side, what with his weird arm of imbalance and all? Not very memorable...

But with Dante, he doesn't have anything that makes him flat out imbalance or immediately too one-trick pony-ish.

I'll always remember the satisfaction I got the first time I got the "STYLISH!" thing emblazoning my screen...Dammit, it felt GOOD.

I was watching Dangerous Liaisons and Apocalypse Now, as well as playing DoTA a while earlier...so my head's not quite clear yet. But I'm feeling really high right now, so it can't be helped, I must write.

Personality: Cecile is quite a sunny, straightfoward person, much more so than her most respected senior (sempai) Ashcroft, who's quite stone-cold on the job, and her immediate superior, Acous Verossa, who's quite the poker-face himself. She tends to, however, take things quite lightly, which is often a constant (if mostly the only) source of hilarity among them. Not to be underestimated, though, is her ability to learn from her mistakes (which she makes many a time and oft) quickly enough to survive making the worst of them in battle, and also, her determination to get what she believes in done.

However, she is surprisingly cheerful even when she's unloading her potential biohazards on the opposing end in combat, which has resulted in more than a few raised eyebrows among her superiors.

History:

When she was in her early teens, she was caught in the Cranagan Airport Incident, but was successfully rescued from the scene by the Aces. However, this event left an indelible mark on her, one which would drive many of her actions in the future.

She originally joined the TSAB as an aspiring Aerial Mage, but was noticed by Ashcroft (who was actually just walking by) for having an affinity that would be able to serve its purpose better in the Investigations Department. Following some discussion with his superiors, Ashcroft pulled a rather clandestine headhunt on her, and promptly (with the paperwork thankfully not done by him) whisked her under his wing.

Although this was pretty much a slap in the face for her original objective, she, following much usage of soft power on her future teacher's part, agreed to his request. She then begun a well-planned(if sometimes traumatic and extreme) training under his tutelage, and during that period of time grew a great deal, eventually becoming the equal if not the superior of her teacher, which was admitted to, even by him. Throughout this period, he refused to be called "teacher" by her, and got her compliance on that, but even to the end he failed to have her discard her calling him senior or "sempai".

Spoiler for Why this may have been allowed to happen:

It is possible that the approval given was due in part to due consideration having been given to the suitability of her element, but also in part due to a certain amount of vested interest in Ashcroft as well.

Eventually, after getting some tasks of her own under her belt, she was approached by Acous Verossa some months after the Saint's Cradle Incident: to put her skills to a task that would be challenging, and also of personal interest to her: an investigation into the illegal trafficking of Lost Logia.

Unsurprisingly, she readily agreed.

General Fighting and Magic Style: The old saying goes, like master, like pupil; Cecile learnt how to battle with and without her Armed Device while under Ashcroft's tutelage. She, however, specializes in the art of soujutsu (whereas her teacher is a swordsman), while being highly skilled with many other modes of combat. In unarmed battle, her style is like her teacher's, a variation of Ninjutsu, but instead of adding illusions, she adds some equally deadly cocktails to the mix.

Ashcroft's Armed Device: Lesale's physical appearance was covered above; it is actually a polearm with a changable form of point. There are at least 10 variations, some of which can be used simultaneously. Just for some; there's a corkscrew, a skylar, a halberd, a sword breaker, etc, etc.

It speaks English, possibly because Cecile isn't a good study in languages...

Barrier Jacket: A black figure-hugging bodysuit, with a dark grey zipped-up vest at the top that extends to her cheek-level. There's an additional hood at the back, too. The only striking color on her Barrier Jacket would be a green flame-like streak that runs up her left sleeve.

Design Notes:

Her name is from this innocent-girl character from Dangerous Liaisons (fits, I think), and her surname I think is quite guess-able from here (Okay, it's from the Arkham Asylum.) Lesale is the Venomancer from DoTA.

*Sigh* What a rip-off I am today...But rest assured I shall do my best not to rip off ANY of Lesale's attacks in her spell list.

This is also the first ever time I'm trying the sub-skill ratings, and I sort of have a different set of subskills for different types of spell. I'm sort of riding on the assumption that Control only refers to aimed attacks, and also that Proficiency and Control can be very high even if the person's mage rank is not very high (well, it's where Style, Skill and Substance meet, eh?

Feel free to cut this here and there... *braces myself*

Offensive Type Spells

Death's Armory:
Type: Mode Change
Power: N/A
Proficiency: N/A
Casting Time: Almost instant

Lesale switches weapon point in order to suit the current need. All the weapons are poisoned, and with certain different poisons. The weapons need little statement, as Lesale can simply switch to almost any pole-arm weapon available to Cecile's imagination, albeit that each weapon provides its own style of attack, defense and unique effects.

The different toxins are as follows:

Death's Armory - Haemos Viper
Type: Poison, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: A+
Casting Time: Almost instant. Stacking spell cost is 5 seconds (1st time), and then adding 5 seconds to the previous stack-time value each sebsequent time.
Maximum Duration of Effect: Half a day (less if healing/recovery spells are used)

Enchants a weapon with the Haemos Viper. Haemos Viper, as may have already been derived from the name, is a poison of the class of hemotoxins, which has the capability to destroy blood cells. It can both be used on Lesale (as it normally is), or can be used in a Supporting style, by enchanting another person's weapon with or without his or her knowledge, or even by applying it to a part of Cecile's body.

Haemos Viper is then injected into the opponent on penetrative body contact with the weapon (e.g. physical injury, or exchange of bodily fluid ), and from there, it proceeds to, in smaller amounts, cause symptoms in such as nausea, disorientation, and headaches, which are pretty much very nasty impairments in battle. However, only in larger amounts, like most poisons, is its full potential realized. 3 clean hits (i.e. not scrapes or grazes, but full-blooded hits like being gashed you in the chest, stabbing deep into your arm/leg) will result in the lack of an ability to clot blood, and even a slight case of de-coagulation (like having taken a blood thinner when you don't need it), and 6 or more hits begins the process of generalised tissue degeneration, organ degeneration, and from there, death. Cecile is able to resist this spell's effect.

Death's Armory - Magic Breaker
Type: Poison, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: AA
Casting Time: Almost instant. Stacking spell cost is 5 seconds (first time), and an added 5 seconds to the previous stack-time value each subsequent time.
Maximum Duration of Effect: Half a day (less if healing/recovery spells are used)

Enchants a weapon with the Magic Breaker. Magic Breaker is an almost self-explanatory spell, as it has an effect that can be more or less derived from its name: Differing somewhat from the other two, it has the ability to weaken an opponent's use of magic, by "poisoning" the opponent's Linker Core. Like the other poisons, its effect stacks, which means that in theory, an opponent of Cecile's could end up not being able to use magic again for a while, or at least, not till it is somehow dispelled, or the committed magic runs out. It can also weaken an opponent's spell by "poisoning" it as well,

Magic Breaker, is an exception among her five attacks in Death's Amory, in that it can only be applied to her own pole-arm, for saftey reasons. This is because Cecile can also be affected by this generalised anti-magic poison as well.

Death's Armory - Corruption Wave
Type: Poison, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: A
Casting Time: 1 second. It cannot be stacked.
Maximum Duration of Effect: Impact time

Creates an instant burst of acid-like green coils that wraps itself around opponents, causing various forms of necrosis-type damage, such as the instant destruction of most barriers, and the wasting away of Barrier Jackets, thus the name.

The trick about this is that while it cannot be stacked, it can be stacked with or on top of other spells, thus creating a deadly combo-like set of actions, like for example, her usual, ‘Rasp of Corruption’.

Death's Armory - Pandemic Wave
Type: Posion, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: B
Casting Time: 1.5 second. It cannot be stacked
Maximum Duration of Effect: Impact Time

The AoE version of Corruption Wave, it spreads in an almost pathogenic style, splashing damage from person to person, up till a limit of 10 people/barriers, meaning that Cecile can simply render the armors and defenses of a whole unit of mages completely pointless in one. Unlike with Corruption Wave, she cannot move during the duration of the spell.

This can also be stacked with other spells, but with a great amount of difficulty. The only time when this happened was when Cecile created a combo known as the “Magic Breaker: Sphere Drive” which almost rendered her sparring partner’s magic completely useless.

Death's Armory - Death Rasp
Type: Poison, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: AAA
Casting Time: 6 seconds. Stacking is not possible with this spell.
Maximum Duration of Effect: 2 hours (less if healing/recovery spells are used)

A single strike attack filled with another one of her magically enhanced toxins, Death Rasp, a necrotoxin that can kill within an hour of the opponent having been hit, due to mass tissue degeneration. This is her absolute trump-card in physical combat. Also, it does have the same practical application methods as Haemos Viper, thus making it even more flexible in usage.

Similarly to Haemos Viper, Cecile is able to resist the effects of this toxin, and thus it has little to no effect on her, even should an opponent pull a successful reversal of this spell. This, however, does not spare her the physical damage which is intrinsically entailed in this attack.

Miasma Needles
Type: Shooting
Power: B
Proficiency: AAA+
Control: AA+
Casting time: 3 seconds
Maximum Duration of Effect: As long as Cecile wants.

AoE venom attack. In this attack, Cecile launches a massive barrage of powered-down, but still lethal spikes at the enemy, which are charged with a random toxin from the Amory of Death. This effectively means that different spikes in the spell can have different toxins enchanted upon it. However, the duration of effect, as well as the overall effectiveness of these individual attacks is diminished by more than 70%, although this attack's stacking effect makes it, overall, more effective than any of the attacks in the Armory of Death.

If Cecile so chooses, she can also choose to focus targets, thus creating a variation of Miasma Needles, the more concentrated "Miasma Lance". In this form, the Miasma Needles can be made to track a single target, thus increasing the accuracy of the attack. However, if she chooses to do so, she is rendered immobile so long as the needles continue to track the enemy.

Black Immolation
Type: Poison, Ranged Physical Combat
Power: S
Proficiency: A+
Casting Time: 5 seconds
Prerequisites: Magic Breaker (preferably stacked) should already be active in order for this to work.

This is Cecile's final trump card, and is what Ashcroft calls "a most risky endeavour" (which means he believes this is a stupid excuse for an attack). In effect, this drains any remaining magical energy that she has left, before thumping 2 pairs of catridges into her device, before whirling a Lesale wrapped in green and black flames at the enemy. The physical and magical strain placed on Cecile in such cases, of course, renders her incapable of using anything else for a while, but it has 2 advantages over many other physical-type special moves: One being that it can both be used as a head-on attack, as well as being a projectile maneuver (the risk being using Lesale as an attack, thus putting one's Device on the line), and the second is it is very effective against attacks of similar strength, because it is coated with the Magic Breaker, and thus can "cut through" any kind of magic in its way, so long as it still has sufficient vested energy to cut through it.

(Cecile's head-to-head spar with Ashcroft proves this point quite well, where she cut straight through all his illusions and almost hit him, if not for a quick change of tactics on his part.)

Emerald Abyss:
Type: Wide Area Emission (fast)
Power: AA
Profiency: S
Casting Time: 3 seconds
Radius: Same as Emerald Fog

Prerequistites: Requires Emerald Fog to already be active to achieve said casting time.

A spell Cecile has not yet revealed, in an attempt to produce a more practical move, as opposed to the wild, unbridled destruction and impracticality of the energy-draining Black Immolation.

Due to the *sarcasm* slightly more reckless *sarcasm* style of combat she has, she didn't develop anything past the basic Protection and Triangle Shield spells.

Adyton Coil:

Causes a small chasm/fissure to open in the ground, and several purple coils to rush out from said chasm towards the opponent, locking him or her in place. Just your standard Binding Spell.

Adyton Coil: Biohazard Shift:

This, surprisingly, is Cecile's most used spell, due to its multipurpose use as both an offensive and a binding spell. Releases an blast of magically enchanted smog at an approaching foe, or a foe Cecile is approaching. True to its name, it causes any opponent without any magical protection within its effective radius to be enshrouded in a green-purple mist that causes the target within to be deprived of oxygen, thus causing the condition of asphyxia, and later, with prolonged exposure to the spell, can cause a artificially generated case of generalised hypoxia.

Simple but deadly, this attack can even cause death if the target is unable to dispel the attack. However, to the experienced magic user, all it would take would be a air-based move, or a rush with gritted teeth out of the gas cloud to avoid the danger. Although it is used in tandem with the offensive or used like a defensive barrier, this is considered to be a binding spell because this paralyses the opponent's physical and (if the opponent's focus is broken) magical abilities for a time.

(FYI: Asphyxia and Hypoxia are related medical conditions which mostly occur in healthy humans at high altitudes. However, forced deprivation of oxygen can also cause asphyxia in healthy humans, and is used in capital punishment. We can also call it "suffocation" if we want, except that there's no one's hands around your throat.)

History:

Unknown. However, from the blade marks within a certain now-deceased person’s personal area of ill-disposed stay, he does indeed have links to past Lost Logia incidents. There is bad blood between him and the former Enforcer, Aurion, and that is plain, and is the only form of intense emotion he didn’t bother to mask too much when they met again.

“It’s been a long time, old buddy…*absent look* Oh yeah, I remember…how’s that girl of yours? She doing well?”

And to the rather vague answer, he gave an effective rejoinder,

“Ah well, courteous as always, you are. My sincere condolences to you on your loss. *Wallachian smile*.”

Man, he really could piss anybody off.

General Fighting and Magic Style: He hasn’t really fought in the strict sense at all, unless dodging Raketen Hammer, Hiryu Issen, a speedy stab, and then a reversing hilt sweep by Gungnir and Miasma Lance one after the other is considered fighting. However, he appears to be massively skilled in the art of running away and dodging, while he relies on Geistritter for combat capability in the case of an unavoidable engagement.

Olivier’s Armed Devices: As stated above.

None of his devices has spoken at all.

Barrier Jacket: His Barrier Jacket is a long, rather plain-looking cloak that covers the rest of his body, and it seems as though there is another layer of cloak below the barrier jacket.

Design Notes:

I got his surname from the Shawshank Redemption (a prison/asylum, just like Cecile’s and Ashcroft’s surnames. His name, on the other hand, comes both from the character of the “Song of Roland”, Olivier, and the name of a demon who opposed Saint Lawrence in the “Admirable History”. I took various plot-related things as well as character traits from the two. On the whole though, suffice it to say that I got sick of cute girls and bishonen for 25 minutes, and that’s how Olivier came to life.

Personality

She alone among the members of the Axis_Eleven has an empathetic personality, and as a result cares deeply for, and understands her fellow unit mates very well, and even at times shows sympathy for her enemies, even to the point of putting herself in their shoes. This often results in her being scoffed at for being too “emotional”.

She has a more-than skin deep relationship with Medorach, in especial, and they can always be seen spending time together whenever the team is not active. He affectionately calls her “Little Aunt” because of her mothering personality, often to her chagrin as she will often remind him that she is younger than him by quite a bit.

She also has a sort of strange friendship over network talk with Vivio, and they even met, albeit with only one side recognizing the other, on the street.

History:

Nothing at all is known about her history. The key to that knowledge possibly lies with Medorach, who often makes evasive and cryptic remarks about their exact relationship.

General Fighting and Magic Style:

She has only fought once, and very unwillingly, with Nanoha, and even more unwillingly when she discovered Nanoha’s relationship with her only outside friend. However, she proved herself effective even in close combat, when she adapts a usually non-combat device into something capable off staving off the White Devil, even if only for a short time before she required some saving from Medorach.

She uses many different styles of combat, but has a single unique style, which is throwing out circuits at enemies, mostly to simply use the strong magic current within to stun or disable them altogether.

Ariel’s Armed Device:

Deebie is a huge motherboard like circuit that manifests itself in the form of a huge burst of energy that could even rival that of the Book of Darkness

It speaks somewhat scratchy, metallic German.

Barrier Jacket: Her barrier jacket is something akin to the TTT’s SC in Air Gear, except that it has pigmentation and color, so it isn’t so…so…nevermind.

I was drawing my initial sketches of this girl, and I…um, nearly squeezed her (and ruined my sketches). In my mind, the image I see is just way too CUTE!!!!

I enjoyed creating her character very much, and I was like smiling sheepishly to myself the whole way through writing. Now that I think of it, I was thinking of very inappropriate things at that time…

And, she is almost completely original! But for inspiration, I’ll concede that Azazel is the name of a fallen angel in rabbinical literature, specifically the patron demon of weaponry and warfare. The other two names? My work.

Her device is my adding the very American idea of nicknames to a certain real-life device, famous for being the first device to prove publicly in a widely popularized event that computers do indeed surpass mankind in terms of some types of computing, especially in terms of prioritization and possibility calculation.

It’s almost if they were meant to do this job of theirs.

History:

General Fighting and Magic Style:

She does not fight. However, she supports the other units in battle, often by adding power/proficiency/control to their spells and normal combat ability, but apparently not through her own power, as the aura, according to Medorach, “is not hers”. Also, although she does not fight, she is highly proficient with barrier and binding-type spells.

Artix’s Armed Device:

Haru is not a single entity, but rather the collective existence of thousands of objects at the same time: thousands of unknown glowing globules, each with its own color, size, and also a given number designation by Artix. At the centre is what can be considered the central nervous organ/main control centre of Haru, an inordinately large, pulsating globule that disappears last among the energy balls whenever she calls off her device.

Barrier Jacket: Her barrier jacket is something akin to the TTT’s SC in Air Gear, except that it has pigmentation and color, so it isn’t so…so…nevermind. However, note that the color scheme is just the opposite of Ariel’s.

Personality

Medorach is in general quite a normal sort of character: mild-mannered, of slightly above average intelligence, of average height. Otherwise, other things are unknown (or else it’s just for plot reasons)

He is also an empathic character, although he is often quite passive. Possible because of these two features, he is the only member of the team who gets along well with almost everybody (except Hudson, although Hudson doesn’t get along with anyone, anyway.)

But cheese him off enough and one will see a side of him that is to say the least, utterly terrifying.

History:

Ashcroft recognized the character “Itsurugi” on the TechnoBabel network to be him almost immediately, so it is possible that they have some sort of history.

General Fighting and Magic Style:

Like most snipers, he stands far from the actual scene of battle, and simply dots the ground below with pinpoint accuracy. However, while he has no qualms about fighting, he seems squeamish around killing other people, and normally only uses enough magic to knock the opponent out of commission till a later, safer time. The only time he shows any sign of a desire to kill the opposition is when something important to him is at stake.

He uses a fair mix of anti-personnel and area-of-effect sniper attacks, all aimed with quick and deadly marksmanship to suppress the enemy force and blunt their ability to attack and counterattack, which makes it a lot easier for the rest to attack, although it was stated that “it would be easier if you would just kill them”, making it clear that most of his teammates find his unwillingness to kill an impediment to their plans.

Most sniper mages use their devices to help them aim. However, Medorach’s accuracy is dead-aim even without having to scope with Adler, and he can take a thousand-yard shot with his bare eyes. Speaking of those eyes…*gets shot*

Medorach’s Armed Device:

Adlertag (Eagle Day) is the name of his device, strange though it may be. It appears as a really long rifle, but with no scope.

Barrier Jacket: Unknown, he normally does not summon up a Barrier Jacket, even in battle.

Design Notes:

Personality

Of the members of the Axis_Eleven, he is the only psychotic one, although this does not prevent him from being intelligent and extremely well endowed in the arena of mental capability, if he is not so well endowed in the arena of sanity.

He lives only to please himself, and indeed everything he does gives him some sort of twisted pleasure of some sort. He worries the rest in many ways, but he assures them that they’re safe for now.

“I won’t kill y’all yet even I don’t like all yer faces. Y’are are my major long term investment in personal entertainment, after all! Far be it from me to do anything to harm any of you all. Or at least, until we’re done with the…say, the penultimate entertainment…then maybe…just maybe I’ll start murdering you guys.”

Actually, he loves the TSAB, although for the absolutely wrong reasons. It is still left to speculation what exactly these reasons are, but it is evident that his own “pleasure” will feature a great deal in what he regards as his reasons.

History:

Absolutely nothing is known about him. From previous knowledge of the Axis_Eleven (although their team name was not a known fact at that time), he had another name once online, called “No-Means-Yes”, who disappeared prior to the Cranagan Airport Incident, but it is the apparent, recent resurgence of the Axis_Eleven, this time overtly, that has redirected the TSAB’s attention to these unstable, dangerous figures.

Surprisingly, he has chosen not to shy away again, as “No-Means-Yes” seems to have restaged a comeback for real.

General Fighting and Magic Style:

His fighting style ostensibly is that of the “Berserker”, as he fights with a strident, almost beast-like abandon, akin to that of a crazed greyhound or an enraged stallion. He also possesses speed far surpassing any known mage to date, and his standard flight movement actually allows him to deal 2 equivalent attacks for an attack an opponent of equal strength to him makes, and more for those who are less powerful.

He uses fire as his basic element, and it is said that the flames he uses are unquenchable.

However, much thought is actually put into this style, as when this is coupled with his inane speeds, the interplay between the two factors allows him to exercise complete supremacy over the pace of the battle, therefore obtaining an important tactical advantage in battle. Also, he does plan his moves beforehand and does not always simply act on the spur of the moment, although he does so often enough to make him a very unpredictable opponent.

Hudson’s Armed Devices:

Himmel-Giftzahn, or Heaven Fang, is a white wolf-fang mace polearm, and it emits grey-black flames from itself in battle, and this immolation increases in correspondence with Hudson’s current mental state. Like for example, if he is angry, the flame grows higher, while if he is normal and at least somewhat sane and calm, its flame is quite low.

Hölle-Giftzahn, or Hell Fang, is a edgeless ceremonial sword with the markings of a howling wolf on it. It does not react to its mental state, but still varies its flame on occasion for unknown reasons.

Barrier Jacket: He wears a black vest with a sinister looking insignia emblazoned on the back of it, and wears a chain around his neck, and around one arm, ending in an upside down axe bling around his neck, and the chain on his arm ending in a double-snake ring on his right hand’s middle finger.

This is my most acrimonious, bitter, salacious, and a hundred and ten per cent psyched-out OC ever. Watch out for his on-fic antics (*wags finger* unless you’re too young for them!)

But there’s room for some development despite the madness. I was thinking of something like the opposite of Jigsaw. You know, smart, cold, crazy, sick but dispensing with the big goals and the veneer of moralism. I want someone who is amoral this time, someone who doesn’t really care, a “Neo-Hedonist”, if anyone recognizes that term…Pleasure for its own sake.

Time Space Administration Beaurau Experimental Systems Test Force (T.S.A. B.E.S.T. F.) Test Pilot, leading unit (Unit 01) Callsign known only as 'Crash'.
His real name is kept to authorized eyes only due to the particular nature of his inherent physical ability and its potential to create enemies.
As a Cadet, he recieved this callsign as the first ever cadet to 'successfully' crash and wreck a full sized TSA Dimensional Cruiser, while it was still powered down and in drydock, resulting in massive damage to the docking facility, and terminal catastrophic damage to the cruiser.
'Crash' had somehow, survived the incident, not only alive, but for the most part, completely unhurt. (Discounting cuts and such.)
Crash had become known throughout his cadet days, as a man with a motto. He could break ANYTHING. Records, rules, equipment, vehicles. 'He's a walking murphy's law' some had said. Some younger cadets even suggested he was cursed or immortal, as he seemed to get into more crazy and violent accidents than it should have been physically possible to do, and even more physically impossible that he pretty much walked away from nearly all of them. Even more puzzling is that despite the Dock Incident, that he wasn't discharged from the force altogether.
( - Official reports state that no existing records from the Incident can prove he was the actual cause of the accident, plus Lindy Haralowne opted to protect him from full punishment... No charges could be pressed. He was given six months remedial training.)


He was assigned to TSA B.E.S.T. F., the Test Force which helped develope experimental magical technologies and equipment, putting his 'talent' to good use by finding the flaws in new equipment, vehicles, and technology. And find those flaws he did. Crash's test piloting has seen him litterally walk away from 126 'fatal' accidents with nothing more than a shrug, while the entire command staff gawked each and every time, and Test Force CommandeR Roland commented about having a heart attack, each and every time... Including 34 'fatal' accidents that occured while the TSA was modernizing the Belkan cartraige system for current, stable use. These included seven major incidents, two of which had class S level magical explosions that were picked up by TSAGCOM itself.
( - The actual test range is located on the McGreggor Archipelligo in the Sea 2,000 km southwest of the main continent. The Two S level blasts, which occured at Block Five, and Block Seven of BEST Force's Third Magical Test Facility on Manning Is. produced siesmic disturbances which were litterally felt by officials at TSAB HQ.)


His piloting is... unique. Crash claims he isn't much of a fighter, but his talent for finding weird ways to break things has developed into a skill in which he can make vehicles and equipment do things that seem to defy logic itself. Often, the term 'The Unsung Aces' has been attatched to him and the test force for their abilities in general. His extensive testing of magical weapons has gained him moderate skill in their use all across the board, especially with most of the ranged magical arms available.

As of late, Crash has been working on the COMBAT BATTERY project to produce a device that can provide all around heavy combat effectiveness equal to an A rank mage, to even mages of negligable power levels. After a particularly violent accident during the project, which involved strangely enough, a PVC pipe, duct tape, a paperclip, and chewing gum as the triggers, Crash was quoted as calling the project... 'An absolute BLAST!'.
Whether or not that was because he'd just been blown 200 meters by a magical explosion, or because he thought it was fun, has never been determined.

In the late phase field testing of the BATTERY device system, he was redirected to an active intercept role during a major flight test of the new system, where he was promptly cut off from Test Force Command and TSAGCOM before being engaged by six of the Imfamous 'Numbers' Combat Cyborgs. It was believed they were after some of the experimental tech being used in the Battery, and was using their artifact raid on the auction to the east as cover. Crash managed to prove the effectiveness of the Battery system and its flexibility by not only actively engaging them, but surviving against these well trained killers for the eight and a half minutes it took to scramble reinforcements to assist him.

As far as people go, he's moderately intelligent, a very fast reflexive thinker, and actually quite a decent strategy planner. Mostly this is inherent of his experience, having to frequently dodge extremely lethal situations brought up by his 'inherent abilities'. Completely used to his personal brand of chaos, he takes care not to take excessive actions which may cause a localized dissaster. This goes especially double around any dangerous equipment. He's a nice guy, but has a bit of a smart mouth at times... Mostly when under stress. Despite the increased risk his very pressence brings, most people find no problem being around him, the risk made up for by his amiable personality, and refreshing go-gettum attitude.

Currently, he attempting to learn some basic hand to hand combat skills from Fox, the second person in his unit, and is actually adapting quite rapidly, even if he's sloppy with his movements.

Spoiler for Abilities:

Murphy's Law AVALANCHE: Around crash, Murphy's Law does not just apply, it is literally planned for. Usually, this takes the form of something small, usually several of them at random. Luckly, these tend only occure if there truely is something that would go wrong at any other given time, and usually only with near to direct contact with crash. (As an example, lightbulbs won't randomly burn out, unless he taps the bulb, or touches a power circuit connected to it, and only if the bulb was due to burn out in the first place.)

Crash Dominos: Unlike Above, this is the cause of the most catastrophic of incidents. Usually only if Crash has near direct action in the situation. The events that go wrong during this situation tend to do so in a way that triggers the next event in the chain, leading through a domino or butterfly effect that results in a much larger net result. Usually destructive.

A brief study in both these effects showed that when pressent, Crash causes an eighty percent increase in the probability of mechanical failure in old or stressed materials. Deep study suggests that Crash has some kind of inherent quantum probability fluxuation. Unfortunately, no solid evidence can be found, and the theory remains unquantified.

Final Destination: It has been postulated that if Crash could ever learn to control his unusual talent, he could theoretically stage domino effects or chain reactions that have pre-calculated effects. Such effects could range from rigging of random draw events, to controlled demolition, to 'lethal accidents' with a specific target in mind. No one has figured out any possible way he could do this without first quantifying the effects, but for this reason, his name has been designated a secret to protect himself and his family from potential threats or exploit attempts.

She dove asside as the Lance Rifle bucked from a heavy shot, which barely missed her, scoring a hit on the case in her hand instead and flinging it high into the air. The shot continued to 'lance' downrange before slamming into a storage building, blowing a hole in the side and detonating some, undoubtedly, expensive peice of equipment contained within'.

Nanoha recovered, knowing Crash would have momentarily exhausted his magic from that shot and prepared to rush him but stopped short when she noticed he wasn't in a fighting position. Instead, the Lance Rifle was down at the low ready, and he was looking upwards.
Following his glance towards a nearby long range communications tower, she noticed the tiny fluttering spin of her yellow cartridge casing.

"Ahhh.... Mr. Murphy, I'd like to report a violation," Crash seemed to have apprehension in his voice.

Inside the control room, Hayate looked on in shock as in a matter of seconds, several different bets and bids shot around the room.

The casing struck one of the Antenna arrays on its way down. It bounced into a cross bar nearby and riccocheted into a high power amplifier... bounced for a second, then spun into another lower cross bar half a story below. The casing shattered this time, spilling several bright red magic cartridges into the open air. Several of them bounced harmlessly into the open and dropped towards the ground. But one of them landed against a verticle waveguide tube and found its way into one of only a few small positive airflow gaps, and arced.
There was a small magical explosion, which flung what appeared to be high energy sparks across the tower, burning the steel framework and damaging its supports and stablizing cables. The blast sparks hit ground level, setting off the casings that had landed there. The secondaries shook the tower, which visibly dropped about a foot and jolted to the side. Nanoha looked on in awe as the Butterfly Effect continued its work. The communications tower strained against its damaged stablizing cables, which systematicly began to snap, weakest one first, with loud metallic 'twangs'. Finally, with a loud shrieking groan of stressed aluminium and sheered steel, the whole thing began to pitch over, right towards Crash.

"Oh, for the love of-"

'CRUNCH!!!!'

Nanoha blanched at the impact but dared to look. Interestingly enough however, Crash was standing, unhurt, right in the middle of a gap in the crossbars and tower equipment as the dust cleared.

"Is that all?" he asked nobody in particular in defiance.

Unseen by either of them, one last spark landed on Nanoha's previous damaged cartridge casing...

'KABOOOM!!!!'

Nanoha was knocked flat by the shockwave of uncontrolled magical energy as it incinerated a block of signal boosters and multiplexing components that were roughly placed mid-tower. After the blast died down a moment later, she gave Crash completely perplexed look.
"What was that?!" she shouted.

In a darkened room, somewhere in the TSAB Headquarters, seven lights flickered. These seven lights grew and expanded before taking the shape of six cloaked and hooded figures; holographic projections, visible only to each other in this darkened room.

"Who called this meeting?" The one in white asked. "I have important matters to deal with."
"Stifle it, girl," The leader in yellow fired back. "It seems that we've acquired a few new problems." The man glanced at the one in green, who pulled up a holographic image of the White Tempest.

"Our agents watching Yagami sent me this about an hour ago," she said, sounding concerned. "One of our greatest threats has just acquired a powerful toy. I'm setting in motion to have her tied down in paperwork, but without a good reason to take it, I cannot legally have the ship taken from her... especially considering that, according to transmissions, it will only work for her."

"So it presents a conundrum," Yellow said. "On one hand, it may provide valuable insight on the way Al-Hazared's technology work and bring us one step closer to completion of the Project. On the other hand, it will make Yagami one of the most powerful mages in the TSA."

"We can't let this stand!" The one in brown said. "We can study the ship just fine without her! We must eliminate Yagami Hayate!"

"I disagree." The woman in white shook her head. "That would look far too suspicious."
"We will discuss that matter later," Yellow concluded. "Now, moving on, I understand that our database was hacked today?"

"Yes, sir," the man in violent answered, bringing up an image. "This is Syn Virage. I discovered her trail poking around the database... I humored myself and purposely broke a few codes for her. She was looking for the Sankt Kaiser's Medical Report, I understand." Another image was brought up of Syn and Vivio in the park from earlier that day. "Apparently, they do not like what we have given them."

"It's of no consequence," White said. "Those two are not important to our Project. Let them be."
"I agree," The man in blue nodded. "We have more pressing matters than a couple of kids... how did you get that photograph, anyway?"

A third image was brought up, causing the one in blue to gasp. "This is...!"
"Indeed," Violet said. "We cannot have people poking around. Besides, the clone of the Sankt Kaiser is proving to be far too troublesome. Soon, I will give the orders, and my agents will deal with her and Takamachi Nanoha."

"You can't be serious!" White shouted. "She's just a girl; moreover, most higher-ups in the Saint Church truly believe that, as a clone of the Sankt Kaiser, she will usher in a new era of peace! You cannot kill her!"

"Shut up!" Yellow roared at the woman. "You have no right to say anything. The only reason you are here is due to your skills, but other than that, you are completely useless! I care not for the church, only the Project!" he paused. "But you are somewhat correct." To Violet, he said. "Have you assassins watch her. Anything funny, and I want her dead. Her and her mother."

"Yes, sir."

"Yes, I do," A woman purred as she walked down the streets of Cranagan City. "I will try my hardest, sir, to not give in to my temptations... she looks so sweet, after all..." Fifty feet ahead of the woman, Vivio and Syn walked together, talking about nonsensical things and enjoying each others' presence. The woman flexed her fingers several times as she watched them, licking her lips as she did so. "It will be so much fun to kill her."

"Relax."
The woman sighed. "Yes, sir."

On another frequency, the woman picked up another transmission. "We've found a body. Brown hair, one-point-six meters tall, blue eyes... looks like she was knifed."

"Damnit," The woman growled. The description matched her appearance somewhat, except for the fact that she had just killed that woman about ten minutes ago to continue trailing Syn and Vivio. Ducking into an alley, the woman hid behind a dumpster and closed her eyes. A shimmer surrounded her before collapsing the disguise, revealing long brown hair with orange-yellow eyes... and the body suit of a Combat Cyborg.

"Now..." Due said, searching her internal database. "Let's find a better disguise..."

"There was another incident with a Candidate," Yellow stated, bringing up an image of the still-raging battlezone between the Spawn and the OFM. "Subject Number Seven terminated Number Twenty-Nine earlier today, according to our agents. Number Seven's progress is... astounding."

"That would make the fifteenth one he's terminated," White reflected. "Truly, he is the strongest out of the candidates."

"This means that there's only two left," Violet observed. "Not counting Number Seven; Numbers Three and Nine... which also have an impressive number of kills."

"Indeed," Brown nodded. "Number 3 is on-board an assault cruiser, and my agents say he's already beginning to show characteristics of contamination. Hopefully his body will be strong enough to handle it."

"Number 9 is in Cranagan City," Blue said. "He's potentially the weakest out of the survivors, but he's still useful. He too shows signs of contamination."

"If it weren't for that second personality," Yellow growled. "Number 7 would have succumbed to the contamination as well. But when he's the only one left... and when he's the strongest one... then truly, we will have our vessel."

"One more thing," The woman in green said. "It seems to me that they have control over the Abomination to some degree now. How this is possible I don't know, but there may be a connection. The thought is worth persuing."

"Agreed. Do some research and find what you can," Yellow ordered. "This meeting is ajourned."

The woman in White quickly disposed of her cloak, hiding it in a large drawer in her desk. Someone had just knocked on her door and she couldn't reveal her identity yet. Not until the time was right and the Prophecies came to pass, anyway.

As she walked up to the door, her primary concerned was to stop the Project Leaders to not kill Nanoha and Vivio, and put a damper on killing Hayate, period. The one in blue seems to be a friend, however... she thought before silently cursing. Damnit, I wish we knew each others' true identities. Taking a calming breath, she opened the door. "Yes, Sister Schach?"

"Ah," Schach smiled. "Carim-kishin, here are the documents you requested..."

Similarly, the man in blue was putting his cloak in his closet when the phone rang. Taking slow steps, the man walked up to the phone and pushed a button. A smile on his face appeared at the girl who had just called him.

"Hi, dad!" Subaru said cheerfully.
"Hello to you, Subaru," Genya Nakajima replied.

Meanwhile, in the Takamachi household, Fate comforted a crying Nanoha. "It was awful," Nanoha was saying. "Their pain... those looks... those things, crawling... sliming..."

Looking over at Caro as doctors finally managed to stabilize her, he wondered if the one closest to his heart would survive. A comforting hand squeezed his, and as he looked up to Lutecia's calm face, he thought that maybe, she'd be okay.

Hmm... a little slow, I'd say.

Character planning layout = 60%. There's some characters whom backstory is still pending, and such, along with what character to put in and how.
Overall story draft = 70%. The idea behind the beginning, the mid-way climax, the build-up to the finale and the finale itself is quite complete, but there's some empty holes to pad.
Side-story draft = 30%. One-shots that show the current status of the RF6s... I have ideas for Subaru/Teana/Numbers/a few more, but the others are a little...

LOL WRITING PROGRESS = 5%. I wrote... say, 70% of 3 tracks in DestinyS's version of SS04, 20% of Jail Break, 20% of the random "KEWL" speeches throughout DestinyS, 5% of the finale, and 10% of the beginning. Oh, and 30% of flashback to Alhazred's destruction.

One of the bigger plot problems is the finale a little, since there's so many characters semi-intertwined, it seems a slight pity that connecting some is a little hard to do.

Not to mention I'm trying to balance the gray a little. I've noticed I've kinda made TSAB look more evil than the antagonist.

Personality: Cecile is quite a sunny, straightfoward person, much more so than her most respected senior (sempai) Ashcroft, who's quite stone-cold on the job, and her immediate superior, Acous Verossa, who's quite the poker-face himself. She tends to, however, take things quite lightly, which is often a constant (if mostly the only) source of hilarity among them. Not to be underestimated, though, is her ability to learn from her mistakes (which she makes many a time and oft) quickly enough to survive making the worst of them in battle, and also, her determination to get what she believes in done.

However, she is surprisingly cheerful even when she's unloading her potential biohazards on the opposing end in combat, which has resulted in more than a few raised eyebrows among her superiors.

History:

When she was in her early teens, she was caught in the Cranagan Airport Incident, but was successfully rescued from the scene by the Aces. However, this event left an indelible mark on her, one which would drive many of her actions in the future.

She originally joined the TSAB as an aspiring Aerial Mage, but was noticed by Ashcroft (who was actually just walking by) for having an affinity that would be able to serve its purpose better in the Investigations Department. Following some discussion with his superiors, Ashcroft pulled a rather clandestine headhunt on her, and promptly (with the paperwork thankfully not done by him) whisked her under his wing.

Although this was pretty much a slap in the face for her original objective, she, following much usage of soft power on her future teacher's part, agreed to his request. She then begun a well-planned(if sometimes traumatic and extreme) training under his tutelage, and during that period of time grew a great deal, eventually becoming the equal if not the superior of her teacher, which was admitted to, even by him. Throughout this period, he refused to be called "teacher" by her, and got her compliance on that, but even to the end he failed to have her discard her calling him senior or "sempai".

It is possible that the approval given was due in part to due consideration having been given to the suitability of her element, but also in part due to a certain amount of vested interest in Ashcroft as well.

Eventually, after getting some tasks of her own under her belt, she was approached by Acous Verossa some months after the Saint's Cradle Incident: to put her skills to a task that would be challenging, and also of personal interest to her: an investigation into the illegal trafficking of Lost Logia.

Unsurprisingly, she readily agreed.

General Fighting and Magic Style: The old saying goes, like master, like pupil; Cecile learnt how to battle with and without her Armed Device while under Ashcroft's tutelage. She, however, specializes in the art of soujutsu (whereas her teacher is a swordsman), while being highly skilled with many other modes of combat. In unarmed battle, her style is like her teacher's, a variation of Ninjutsu, but instead of adding illusions, she adds some equally deadly cocktails to the mix.

Ashcroft's Armed Device: Lesale's physical appearance was covered above; it is actually a polearm with a changable form of point. There are at least 10 variations, some of which can be used simultaneously. Just for some; there's a corkscrew, a skylar, a halberd, a sword breaker, etc, etc.

It speaks English, possibly because Cecile isn't a good study in languages...

Barrier Jacket: A black figure-hugging bodysuit, with a dark grey zipped-up vest at the top that extends to her cheek-level. There's an additional hood at the back, too. The only striking color on her Barrier Jacket would be a green flame-like streak that runs up her left sleeve.

This is also the first ever time I'm trying the sub-skill ratings, and I sort of have a different set of subskills for different types of spell. I'm sort of riding on the assumption that Control only refers to aimed attacks, and also that Proficiency and Control can be very high even if the person's mage rank is not very high (well, it's where Style, Skill and Substance meet, eh?

Lesale switches weapon point in order to suit the current need. All the weapons are poisoned, and with certain different poisons. The weapons need little statement, as Lesale can simply switch to almost any pole-arm weapon available to Cecile's imagination, albeit that each weapon provides its own style of attack, defense and unique effects.

The different toxins are as follows:

Death's Armory - Haemos Viper
Type: Poison, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: A+
Casting Time: Almost instant. Stacking spell cost is 5 seconds (1st time), and then adding 5 seconds to the previous stack-time value each sebsequent time.
Maximum Duration of Effect: Half a day (less if healing/recovery spells are used)

Enchants a weapon with the Haemos Viper. Haemos Viper, as may have already been derived from the name, is a poison of the class of hemotoxins, which has the capability to destroy blood cells. It can both be used on Lesale (as it normally is), or can be used in a Supporting style, by enchanting another person's weapon with or without his or her knowledge, or even by applying it to a part of Cecile's body.

Haemos Viper is then injected into the opponent on penetrative body contact with the weapon (e.g. physical injury, or exchange of bodily fluid ), and from there, it proceeds to, in smaller amounts, cause symptoms in such as nausea, disorientation, and headaches, which are pretty much very nasty impairments in battle. However, only in larger amounts, like most poisons, is its full potential realized. 3 clean hits (i.e. not scrapes or grazes, but full-blooded hits like being gashed you in the chest, stabbing deep into your arm/leg) will result in the lack of an ability to clot blood, and even a slight case of de-coagulation (like having taken a blood thinner when you don't need it), and 6 or more hits begins the process of generalised tissue degeneration, organ degeneration, and from there, death. Cecile is able to resist this spell's effect.

Death's Armory - Magic Breaker
Type: Poison, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: AA
Casting Time: Almost instant. Stacking spell cost is 5 seconds (first time), and an added 5 seconds to the previous stack-time value each subsequent time.
Maximum Duration of Effect: Half a day (less if healing/recovery spells are used)

Enchants a weapon with the Magic Breaker. Magic Breaker is an almost self-explanatory spell, as it has an effect that can be more or less derived from its name: Differing somewhat from the other two, it has the ability to weaken an opponent's use of magic, by "poisoning" the opponent's Linker Core. Like the other poisons, its effect stacks, which means that in theory, an opponent of Cecile's could end up not being able to use magic again for a while, or at least, not till it is somehow dispelled, or the committed magic runs out. It can also weaken an opponent's spell by "poisoning" it as well,

Magic Breaker, is an exception among her five attacks in Death's Amory, in that it can only be applied to her own pole-arm, for saftey reasons. This is because Cecile can also be affected by this generalised anti-magic poison as well.

Death's Armory - Corruption Wave
Type: Poison, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: A
Casting Time: 1 second. It cannot be stacked.
Maximum Duration of Effect: Impact time

Creates an instant burst of acid-like green coils that wraps itself around opponents, causing various forms of necrosis-type damage, such as the instant destruction of most barriers, and the wasting away of Barrier Jackets, thus the name.

The trick about this is that while it cannot be stacked, it can be stacked with or on top of other spells, thus creating a deadly combo-like set of actions, like for example, her usual, ‘Rasp of Corruption’.

Death's Armory - Pandemic Wave
Type: Posion, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: B
Casting Time: 1.5 second. It cannot be stacked
Maximum Duration of Effect: Impact Time

The AoE version of Corruption Wave, it spreads in an almost pathogenic style, splashing damage from person to person, up till a limit of 10 people/barriers, meaning that Cecile can simply render the armors and defenses of a whole unit of mages completely pointless in one. Unlike with Corruption Wave, she cannot move during the duration of the spell.

This can also be stacked with other spells, but with a great amount of difficulty. The only time when this happened was when Cecile created a combo known as the “Magic Breaker: Sphere Drive” which almost rendered her sparring partner’s magic completely useless.

Death's Armory - Death Rasp
Type: Poison, Physical Combat Enhancement
Power: AAA
Casting Time: 6 seconds. Stacking is not possible with this spell.
Maximum Duration of Effect: 2 hours (less if healing/recovery spells are used)

A single strike attack filled with another one of her magically enhanced toxins, Death Rasp, a necrotoxin that can kill within an hour of the opponent having been hit, due to mass tissue degeneration. This is her absolute trump-card in physical combat. Also, it does have the same practical application methods as Haemos Viper, thus making it even more flexible in usage.

Similarly to Haemos Viper, Cecile is able to resist the effects of this toxin, and thus it has little to no effect on her, even should an opponent pull a successful reversal of this spell. This, however, does not spare her the physical damage which is intrinsically entailed in this attack.

Miasma Needles
Type: Shooting
Power: B
Proficiency: AAA+
Control: AA+
Casting time: 3 seconds
Maximum Duration of Effect: As long as Cecile wants.

AoE venom attack. In this attack, Cecile launches a massive barrage of powered-down, but still lethal spikes at the enemy, which are charged with a random toxin from the Amory of Death. This effectively means that different spikes in the spell can have different toxins enchanted upon it. However, the duration of effect, as well as the overall effectiveness of these individual attacks is diminished by more than 70%, although this attack's stacking effect makes it, overall, more effective than any of the attacks in the Armory of Death.

If Cecile so chooses, she can also choose to focus targets, thus creating a variation of Miasma Needles, the more concentrated "Miasma Lance". In this form, the Miasma Needles can be made to track a single target, thus increasing the accuracy of the attack. However, if she chooses to do so, she is rendered immobile so long as the needles continue to track the enemy.

Black Immolation
Type: Poison, Ranged Physical Combat
Power: S
Proficiency: A+
Casting Time: 5 seconds
Prerequisites: Magic Breaker (preferably stacked) should already be active in order for this to work.

This is Cecile's final trump card, and is what Ashcroft calls "a most risky endeavour" (which means he believes this is a stupid excuse for an attack). In effect, this drains any remaining magical energy that she has left, before thumping 2 pairs of catridges into her device, before whirling a Lesale wrapped in green and black flames at the enemy. The physical and magical strain placed on Cecile in such cases, of course, renders her incapable of using anything else for a while, but it has 2 advantages over many other physical-type special moves: One being that it can both be used as a head-on attack, as well as being a projectile maneuver (the risk being using Lesale as an attack, thus putting one's Device on the line), and the second is it is very effective against attacks of similar strength, because it is coated with the Magic Breaker, and thus can "cut through" any kind of magic in its way, so long as it still has sufficient vested energy to cut through it.

(Cecile's head-to-head spar with Ashcroft proves this point quite well, where she cut straight through all his illusions and almost hit him, if not for a quick change of tactics on his part.)

Adds a paralysis-inducing agent to the Adyton Coil, just for good measure. This is usually used on opponents who “don’t know how to stand still and just be good”.

Effective Radius: 3 metres (even though there are also effects on people, albeit less, outside the effective radius, until the magic, and thus the toxin, is too dispersed to be of any effect)

This, surprisingly, is Cecile's most used spell, due to its multipurpose use as both an offensive and a binding spell. Releases an blast of magically enchanted smog at an approaching foe, or a foe Cecile is approaching. True to its name, it causes any opponent without any magical protection within its effective radius to be enshrouded in a green-purple mist that causes the target within to be deprived of oxygen, thus causing the condition of asphyxia, and later, with prolonged exposure to the spell, can cause a artificially generated case of generalised hypoxia.

Simple but deadly, this attack can even cause death if the target is unable to dispel the attack. However, to the experienced magic user, all it would take would be a air-based move, or a rush with gritted teeth out of the gas cloud to avoid the danger. Although it is used in tandem with the offensive or used like a defensive barrier, this is considered to be a binding spell because this paralyses the opponent's physical and (if the opponent's focus is broken) magical abilities for a time.

(FYI: Asphyxia and Hypoxia are related medical conditions which mostly occur in healthy humans at high altitudes. However, forced deprivation of oxygen can also cause asphyxia in healthy humans, and is used in capital punishment. We can also call it "suffocation" if we want, except that there's no one's hands around your throat.)

Unknown. However, from the blade marks within a certain now-deceased person’s personal area of ill-disposed stay, he does indeed have links to past Lost Logia incidents. There is bad blood between him and the former Enforcer, Aurion, and that is plain, and is the only form of intense emotion he didn’t bother to mask too much when they met again.

“It’s been a long time, old buddy…*absent look* Oh yeah, I remember…how’s that girl of yours? She doing well?”

And to the rather vague answer, he gave an effective rejoinder,

“Ah well, courteous as always, you are. My sincere condolences to you on your loss. *Wallachian smile*.”

Man, he really could piss anybody off.

General Fighting and Magic Style: He hasn’t really fought in the strict sense at all, unless dodging Raketen Hammer, Hiryu Issen, a speedy stab, and then a reversing hilt sweep by Gungnir and Miasma Lance one after the other is considered fighting. However, he appears to be massively skilled in the art of running away and dodging, while he relies on Geistritter for combat capability in the case of an unavoidable engagement.

Barrier Jacket: His Barrier Jacket is a long, rather plain-looking cloak that covers the rest of his body, and it seems as though there is another layer of cloak below the barrier jacket.

I got his surname from the Shawshank Redemption (a prison/asylum, just like Cecile’s and Ashcroft’s surnames. His name, on the other hand, comes both from the character of the “Song of Roland”, Olivier, and the name of a demon who opposed Saint Lawrence in the “Admirable History”. I took various plot-related things as well as character traits from the two. On the whole though, suffice it to say that I got sick of cute girls and bishonen for 25 minutes, and that’s how Olivier came to life.

Personality

She alone among the members of the Axis_Eleven has an empathetic personality, and as a result cares deeply for, and understands her fellow unit mates very well, and even at times shows sympathy for her enemies, even to the point of putting herself in their shoes. This often results in her being scoffed at for being too “emotional”.

She has a more-than skin deep relationship with Medorach, in especial, and they can always be seen spending time together whenever the team is not active. He affectionately calls her “Little Aunt” because of her mothering personality, often to her chagrin as she will often remind him that she is younger than him by quite a bit.

She also has a sort of strange friendship over network talk with Vivio, and they even met, albeit with only one side recognizing the other, on the street.

History:

Nothing at all is known about her history. The key to that knowledge possibly lies with Medorach, who often makes evasive and cryptic remarks about their exact relationship.

General Fighting and Magic Style:

She has only fought once, and very unwillingly, with Nanoha, and even more unwillingly when she discovered Nanoha’s relationship with her only outside friend. However, she proved herself effective even in close combat, when she adapts a usually non-combat device into something capable off staving off the White Devil, even if only for a short time before she required some saving from Medorach.

She uses many different styles of combat, but has a single unique style, which is throwing out circuits at enemies, mostly to simply use the strong magic current within to stun or disable them altogether.

Ariel’s Armed Device:

Deebie is a huge motherboard like circuit that manifests itself in the form of a huge burst of energy that could even rival that of the Book of Darkness

And, she is almost completely original! But for inspiration, I’ll concede that Azazel is the name of a fallen angel in rabbinical literature, specifically the patron demon of weaponry and warfare. The other two names? My work.

Her device is my adding the very American idea of nicknames to a certain real-life device, famous for being the first device to prove publicly in a widely popularized event that computers do indeed surpass mankind in terms of some types of computing, especially in terms of prioritization and possibility calculation.

It’s almost if they were meant to do this job of theirs.

History:

Nothing at all is known about her history. The key to that knowledge possibly lies with Medorach, who often makes evasive and cryptic remarks about their exact relationship.

General Fighting and Magic Style:

She does not fight. However, she supports the other units in battle, often by adding power/proficiency/control to their spells and normal combat ability, but apparently not through her own power, as the aura, according to Medorach, “is not hers”. Also, although she does not fight, she is highly proficient with barrier and binding-type spells.

Artix’s Armed Device:

Haru is not a single entity, but rather the collective existence of thousands of objects at the same time: thousands of unknown glowing globules, each with its own color, size, and also a given number designation by Artix. At the centre is what can be considered the central nervous organ/main control centre of Haru, an inordinately large, pulsating globule that disappears last among the energy balls whenever she calls off her device.

Barrier Jacket: Her barrier jacket is something akin to the TTT’s SC in Air Gear, except that it has pigmentation and color, so it isn’t so…so…nevermind. However, note that the color scheme is just the opposite of Ariel’s.

Personality

Medorach is in general quite a normal sort of character: mild-mannered, of slightly above average intelligence, of average height. Otherwise, other things are unknown (or else it’s just for plot reasons)

He is also an empathic character, although he is often quite passive. Possible because of these two features, he is the only member of the team who gets along well with almost everybody (except Hudson, although Hudson doesn’t get along with anyone, anyway.)

“He’s the gentle sort…” – Ariel

But cheese him off enough and one will see a side of him that is to say the least, utterly terrifying.

History:

Ashcroft recognized the character “Itsurugi” on the TechnoBabel network to be him almost immediately, so it is possible that they have some sort of history.

General Fighting and Magic Style:

Like most snipers, he stands far from the actual scene of battle, and simply dots the ground below with pinpoint accuracy. However, while he has no qualms about fighting, he seems squeamish around killing other people, and normally only uses enough magic to knock the opponent out of commission till a later, safer time. The only time he shows any sign of a desire to kill the opposition is when something important to him is at stake.

He uses a fair mix of anti-personnel and area-of-effect sniper attacks, all aimed with quick and deadly marksmanship to suppress the enemy force and blunt their ability to attack and counterattack, which makes it a lot easier for the rest to attack, although it was stated that “it would be easier if you would just kill them”, making it clear that most of his teammates find his unwillingness to kill an impediment to their plans.

Most sniper mages use their devices to help them aim. However, Medorach’s accuracy is dead-aim even without having to scope with Adler, and he can take a thousand-yard shot with his bare eyes. Speaking of those eyes…*gets shot*

Medorach’s Armed Device:

Adlertag (Eagle Day) is the name of his device, strange though it may be. It appears as a really long rifle, but with no scope.

Barrier Jacket: Unknown, he normally does not summon up a Barrier Jacket, even in battle.

Personality

Of the members of the Axis_Eleven, he is the only psychotic one, although this does not prevent him from being intelligent and extremely well endowed in the arena of mental capability, if he is not so well endowed in the arena of sanity.

He lives only to please himself, and indeed everything he does gives him some sort of twisted pleasure of some sort. He worries the rest in many ways, but he assures them that they’re safe for now.

“I won’t kill y’all yet even I don’t like all yer faces. Y’are are my major long term investment in personal entertainment, after all! Far be it from me to do anything to harm any of you all. Or at least, until we’re done with the…say, the penultimate entertainment…then maybe…just maybe I’ll start murdering you guys.”

Actually, he loves the TSAB, although for the absolutely wrong reasons. It is still left to speculation what exactly these reasons are, but it is evident that his own “pleasure” will feature a great deal in what he regards as his reasons.

History:

Absolutely nothing is known about him. From previous knowledge of the Axis_Eleven (although their team name was not a known fact at that time), he had another name once online, called “No-Means-Yes”, who disappeared prior to the Cranagan Airport Incident, but it is the apparent, recent resurgence of the Axis_Eleven, this time overtly, that has redirected the TSAB’s attention to these unstable, dangerous figures.

Surprisingly, he has chosen not to shy away again, as “No-Means-Yes” seems to have restaged a comeback for real.

General Fighting and Magic Style:

His fighting style ostensibly is that of the “Berserker”, as he fights with a strident, almost beast-like abandon, akin to that of a crazed greyhound or an enraged stallion. He also possesses speed far surpassing any known mage to date, and his standard flight movement actually allows him to deal 2 equivalent attacks for an attack an opponent of equal strength to him makes, and more for those who are less powerful.

He uses fire as his basic element, and it is said that the flames he uses are unquenchable.

Hudson’s Armed Devices:

Himmel-Giftzahn, or Heaven Fang, is a white wolf-fang mace polearm, and it emits grey-black flames from itself in battle, and this immolation increases in correspondence with Hudson’s current mental state. Like for example, if he is angry, the flame grows higher, while if he is normal and at least somewhat sane and calm, its flame is quite low.

Hölle-Giftzahn, or Hell Fang, is a edgeless ceremonial sword with the markings of a howling wolf on it. It does not react to its mental state, but still varies its flame on occasion for unknown reasons.

Barrier Jacket: He wears a black vest with a sinister looking insignia emblazoned on the back of it, and wears a chain around his neck, and around one arm, ending in an upside down axe bling around his neck, and the chain on his arm ending in a double-snake ring on his right hand’s middle finger.

Sophia's Palentines and Celestials might be trying to lock the party down on the quiet, that's IF what Carym's doing is not agreeing with the objectives but going along just to infiltrate the group to gather intel. The Cleric-Knights have been mysteriously out of the loop till now. VEDA and Sumire would've concluded that someone is responsible for the spread... But it might be too early for the computer to pinpoint where the next spawn would strike. Which means everyone would be out fighting fires as they emerge, maybe even needing the Grand Meister's direct attention? Kha was on mission with Fate a while ago after all... Gosh there's just so many theories going on!!!
