well I enjoy the episode so much
one of the most amusing dance scene I ever watched

and Cinder is quite ordinary as main antagonist.. I thought she would be like throwing fire everywhere and not sneaking

Her character has not been presented before now as fitting the "rogue" character class. All previous appearances definitely gave off more of a "sorceress" or similar caster-type vibe.

Juane wins 10 points for Manliest prom outfit ever! (what was that thing Nora shouted out?)

Fun fact. At the high school I went to, there was a guy on the football team who got so incredibly pissed at not being able to make his max bench press in Weight training, that he punched the wall hard enough to break his hand. This guy went to the prom in drag.

It doesn't look like Cinder killed the guards, so I doubt it. Trained fighters in RWBY are quite robust, and those guys had armor on.

There's also the fact that where Ruby dropped Crescent Roses weapons pod down correlates with her story about deciding to go into the building after seeing the knocked out guard and going in to investigate. An accomplice working with Cinder on a sneaking mission CERTAINLY wouldn't make a conspicuous weapons drop like that, calling more attention to themselves. It'd also be pointless, since they'd already have weapons ready for a break in.

Daft Punk as the DJs sealed this episode for me.

True, but the fact that she seems like a more well versed character makes better than "ordinary"

Ep.6 Best and most mature girl of them all is Yang. You can't beat that scene with her and Blake. This really boost my like for her and Yang's my favorite female character in the show.

Ep.7 Probably my favorite for now. I think team JPNR is much better than team RWBY in terms of development, just have Juane, Phyrra and have Nora bust out a few gags and have Ren just silent you get alot of stuff. Perfect!
Those dance moves of Juane are sick, love how they develop Juane maturing each time he's pretty much my fav male character. Also he has 7 sisters?! WTF?! Either way I think the Juane x Phyrra is a done sealed deal here.

So Ruby basically has no hope for character development.

If Guile's theme goes with everything, this dance goes with every music.

So after being nagged non-stop by my friends and my brother to see this series I finally got around to watching it. One positive thing about the short episodes is that it helps when you try catching up from the start.

Season 1 had good comedy and a few good fighting scenes but the series was greatly improved by the longer running time the second season brings since it allows more dialogue and character interaction both between members of teams RWBY and JNPR. In episode 6, for example we've got Yang's talk with Blake that helps develop her character beyond Ruby's friendly big sister and Jaune talking to someone on his team other than Pyrrha.

Now onto the last episode: Episode 7 had a good moment between Jaune and Pyrrha so I hope things between those two go a little smoother now. Jaune and Neptune's conversation highlighted how the two of them are in the end two dorks trying to not be one, like Jaune wanting to be a hero and Neptune trying way too hard to maintain his cool image. Seeing them bond a bit was nice. Props to Jaune for fullfilling his promise to Pyrrha.

Cinder fights were a bit short but enjoyable. My only complaint is that Ruby didn't talk with Penny in the party but since she was with her guards it would have been tricky.

Not for now, at least. I think the focus will shift around more as the story progresses.

I just "marathoned" episodes 5, 6, and 7. (I say "marathon" because of the short episode lengths. )

The plot just got really good. I especially liked episodes 6/7. Yang's backstory, Ruby's naivete, Cinder's agenda, Ruby's badassery, Jaune's super badassery, Pyrrha's character-depth, Weiss's regret(?), and other aspects were pretty good.

This was very enjoyable. Now I wonder if Cinder is Yang's mother. Notice the similar fire powers. Notice that they don't meet up. Notice that only Ruby seems to meet her. Notice that since it's Ruby that could be important later for irony if it were true.

Well, if RWBY are only good for fighting, they'll get boring quick.

This has actually been nagging at me for a while now, has there been any announcement about a third season for RWBY? Because part of me feels that 2 seasons just isn't enough to develop the rest of the cast properly.

Last year I recall reading that they had 4 season planned. They might be working on Season 3 already, although I kind of feel like Season 2 has had a lot of in-house or fan-inspired jokes, so they might be waiting to see how Season 3 is received.

I can see Pyrrha being brutally injured by Cinder but not killed by her.

I see, that's good to know I guess, I missed the news about the show having 4 seasons planned.

They just finished Season 2's animation recently so I assume they're moving into Season 3 soon. Probably not quite yet though as scripts are probably going to be reexamined and doublechecked.
