But yes Souta has brought them to the train station where Setsuna died. Going back to the very first episode where Souta is beginning to retell the events he describes what happens as a "miracle" He also talks about how "She was the main character." and "I was the narrator." Going and looking at it, combined with what has happened thus far. If Magane's ability is to turn the lie inside out and Souta's creation is Setsuna it may be entirely possible that Setsuna is actually gonna be brought back by this too, since her coming back to life is easily the biggest Lie someone could ever say. Although that's probably a really low probability. |

Has Meteora been relegated to the second tier forever, or will she become more important again soon? Her creator has also died, so her story has ended. She could return to being the character who helps the player in her game once again, but that seems unlikely after all this. Since her in-game character is frozen in time, perhaps she might somehow sacrifice herself so Setsuna can live. Meteora has already been involved in the revival of Blitz's daughter. Still, reviving a flesh-and-blood human is a lot different than reviving a fictional character. If Souta's Setsuna is "just" a creation, could keeping her from jumping in front of the train in Souta's story be enough to bring her human self back to life?

I'm inclined to think it won't happen, entirely because so much of this story is about accepting hardship and death, and the necessity of them. It's a theme that's worked into almost every single character arc. Blitz's daughter was brought back, but Setsuna's death is a much more integral part of the story.
To then turn around and go 'And now Setsuna, the real Setsuna, is back for good!' would be a very cowardly way of ending the story. I think more likely possibilities are: a) The Created Setsuna is explicitly temporary. She convinces Altair to accept her death, and then she fades away. or b) The Created Setsuna is permanent, but explicitly not the same person as Setsuna. She lives, but Setsuna, the one who died, is gone forever, and the Created Setsuna can't replace her. She, like the other Creations, can grow and become more than her character description, but that growth will inevitably take her further away from being a facsimile of Setsuna.

Late is late
So there are two Vegas, one is Altair's prototype/ alt skin made for the Elimination Festival, and the other is Setsuna reincarnated(?)/recreated by Souta. Sirius is already doomed to fail since this is a war based on acceptance. For Setsuna, well, judging on OP2, I think he's telling Altair to bring her back to life by giving up her's. And for jokes, it's confirmed: Altair's a Touhou character.

I didn't really get the vibe that Setsuna's death will be recreated. That wont really solve anything that needs to be solved. Also I don't view Souta as the type of guy to play a cruel mind game like that even against Altair. The train station is supposed to be symbolic and a climactic setting for the big resolution.
Also going by the preview we get that the episode is "The World is for Us Two I love you too." So there's a lot to speculate on with that title since thus far the titles haven't been dead on about the episode contents but they usually vaguely summarize them, or at least one of the main parts of a given episode. |

Turning a lie into truth... I think someone is about to come back from the dead. Magane's powers as the work are capable of preforming such a feat especially in the real world. I have seen no evidence of the world try to "fix" anything she has done with her power. But she has not been destructive like some of the other creations. So Souta has recreated this scenario from the first episode. But it might not show Setsuna's suicide but have another function that will get Altair herself to stop her actions. based on what Setsuna might say to her. The question is even if Souta's new found power bring Setsuna back to life would the world accept it or would her presence continue to break it. Normally i hate when characters are brought back to life. But i feel differently about this scenario i actually would like to see Setsuna have a 2nd chance.

Well, I believe that Setsuna is still dead. The "original" her from the real world is dead. However, she is now a fictional character based on the real one with the same memories. Sota probably "made" a story in which Altair and Setsuna will live together. It will, however, be a very open story so that they remain free.
Altair will either have to deny this story and by extension, deny her created creator, or accept it and live together instead of trying to destroy the world and all stories. |

On that point...does anyone feel Magane is becoming seriously OP? As a Creation she literally just haxed the basis that gives her kind existence ie, audience approval. The way it was done may technically fall under the scope of her power but still, going so far as to affect the source of your own existence, and a source which is external to you at that is pretty ridiculous compared to even Altair. If it actually ends up resurrecting a dead human (as opposed to creating a character clone) that will be quite over the top since Setsuna is not a Creation and shouldn't be able to just be willed back to life by the audience

Somebody on youtube took the liberty of subbing the episode preview. I'll put it here for those who want to see it(it has some interesting dialogue) I apologize for the watermark. Also stop watching after about 17 seconds because the rest of the video is literally their pointless channel plug AMV
Spoiler for Optional english subbed episode 21 preview:

Sort of expected what was going to happen:
Spoiler for Episode 21 spoilers:
Minimanga: https://imgur.com/a/Vip3m Megalosphere wallpaper: https://imgur.com/a/HQi0S https://www.sunday-webry.com/events/...erview/21.html Spoiler for Episode 21 spoilers:
http://recreators.tv/special/intervi...erview_08.html Sota's voice actor interview: - He feels a sense of loneliness. He finished dubbing a long time ago and at the time it went over in a flash, but now looking back he thinks the story fits the 22-episode format. Also since it is still on air, he was able to confirm he was able to deliver what he wanted to the audience, given the reactions; - He auditioned only for Sota, and was surprised at the number of people, due to the number of characters, when he went there. He also remembers he managed to screw up a few lines during the audition, to the point he thought they'd never hire him for this role; - He believes Sota's the most "normal" character among the cast, and the one that is closest to the viewer; - He started by making him a bit exxagerated in reactions since he was the most "outsider" but changed a bit as the character became more involved. Hiroe himself said to him during that "after a while he [Sota] will become a little more main character-like"; - He felt he was a bit complicated character to act sometimes, and while Sota's development was decided from the beginning, he jokes that he know his initial behaviour appeared irritating to some people; - For Sota, every little encounter is a turning point; - While he was playing the last part, he wasn't sure he was playing it right, as he had a different view from Sota, who both wanted to stop Altair and make amends with Setsuna - basically he wonders how close to the "real" Setsuna is the "created" Setsuna? - When they handed him the script of Episode 21 he was wondering what would happen afterwards.
