I really don't buy that she was abused. My parents leave me alone for long periods of time and I don't count it as abuse. Then again, there has to be a reason he did the deed with Mrs Dunoa. If it was a one night stand, it's still odd he took Charlotte in at all.

True, doesn't justify Mr. Dunoa's action of neglecting her for years, and even after they met again, he used her as a tool, which could be count as abuse in itself but WTH there's no verbal and physical abuse mentioned. Ever.

Please note that he only used her as a tool after ichika was found and he discovered she had a high ranking. Before that he didn't have any use for her. Heck, I'm suprised he didn't get Charlotte aborted or something.

I thought she was exiled as a baby? In the canon novel, it was mentioned she only went there when she found her mothers letter telling her to. Even more blatant in the anime where he sent a rep to get her instead.

Remember when I said I.S. development is like nuclear arms race, except instead of warhead number and raw power, we're talking about technology and performance.

France was left behind by European union because of them being slow at developing new technologies, which in turn blame everything on Dunois. And since I.S. development is expensive and really dependent on government support, Dunois is in the verge of bankruptcy.

I'm not sure about it, but I speculate it has something to do with I.S. as main source of promotion material, not their main source of money.

The mass production unit is the way to spread such promotion to international market, and remember there's no implication about mass production being inferior to the original.

Also, a country's I.S. is implied to be main symbol of military power. Mentions of National defense and security is my basis for this one, and is coherent with the arms race theory.

Of course, a speculation will stay a speculation unless confirmed by canon. See you later.

Can you blame him? He's just ordinary 15 years old boy raised in somewhat sexist environment and in his mind, the concept of I.S. = God of War is entrenched deep, all due to the combination of myth and propaganda.

It's not like Ichika ever saw tanks and jet fighter by himself, or fighting them, hence his hyperbole when compared them to I.S. despite all techwanker out of universe knew they're not invincible. I myself prefer to believe military and government knew the truth.
