(disclaimer: I'm just kidding. I like pretty much everyone in -Saki-, as you probably know from last year. Also--seriously--who doesn't love Hisa?) Anyway, the numbers themselves aren't much to write home about, but at least they're close. (edit: ...FFS)

Whoa, Senjougahara up by 4 on Rika right now. But I've read that there are lots of fake votes... It sucks that I'll be at work as this concludes. I'm eager to find out the results, but I'll have to wait until I get back home.

Only characters that really interested me in Saki were Yuuki, Koromo, and Mihoko. I never really jumped on Hisa's bandwagon despite having the same voice as another favorite of mine.
One of 2 will happen to Hitagi if she makes it through this round: either she's not strong enough to challenge Mafuyu or Yui (Angel Beats) or having to work to beat a tough opponent will make her stronger than her other challengers.

You know what...the no repeat winner policy is rather dumb at this point. There are only two Saimoe Champions returning this year, Nanoha and Rika. Rika may have a chance to win this fight if people don't come down on her for having won three years ago. However that doesn't mean she will win the tournement. From the numbers so far there are plenty of other that could beat her or Hitagi easily. Plus there is Nanoha. She won five years ago. Are we going to hold that victory against her too? She has a better chance to win.
If she's the more moe then vote for her reguardless of if she's won before. If she isn't more moe, than vote for her opponent. It is generally that simple. Just because a character has been around a while does not mean they aren't still moe, or in fact more moe than new characters. Don't fall into the "I like her a lot, but she won before so I guess I have to vote for her opponent to be fair" trap. Sometimes the original is the best. Sometimes the classics are the best. And sometimes the old get left behind by the new. It all depends on just hoe well they do moe.
