According to Bakemonogatari website, Tokyo MX airs this show at 2300 hours. First episode aired on July 3rd. To answer you second question, subs are out when they are out. Thus far four groups have subbed it: qIIq, Koharubi, gg and anon.

That said, either the first episode had something else (flashbacks, etc) I confused for a opening or this show changes the opening based on the story. Its very very interesting either way.

Pretty sure the first episode merely had a flashback, and the second episode had the real OP. On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if it changed every arc given how Senjougahara-focused it was.

Official blog updated with screencap from Mayoi Snail. Looks like they really did change the style as said in the interview. No more pretentious directions, please! Hachikuji P, you will dance in the ED, right?!

I don't think it ever happened. Three OPs for 26-episodes series is rare enough, let alone five OPs for 15-episodes series.

well, it looks like many don't like this anime style but I wonder why I rather enjoy this style

well maybe because I really love SHAFTxShinbo style

and I like the story this far so I'm gonna keep watching it

The entire half of the episode was fan service. Not that I'm complaining, it's just that I was gearing myself for something eerie. Overall good episode, though Araragi's totally random perverted expression at the end felt awkward and....funny (in an awkward kinda way)

wow, Aragagi's little sisters are so adorable XD

hmm, I think I'm gonna re watch it again, I'm not so sure what just happened....

edit: okay just finished re watching it, I just need some lil clarifications. So, not only Hitagi's weight was taken away but also her feelings? (that would explain her blunt and cold attitude) and whats up with Aragagi's sudden increase of weight?

You know why I enjoyed it so much up to now? Because in these episodes Hitagi consistently laid the funniest and most overpowering verbal smackdown on a male anime lead that I can remember. I absolutely love the verbal fencing, and I'm still in stitches about the "How did you find out??" recoil. Add to the score that she very consciously flashed him to kingdom come in order to unsettle him, and I had alot of fun ^_^

I also didn't find her 180 degrees turnaround in the end all too surprising, because I believe that what she said was a bit exaggerated and formal due to a feeling of guilt, but essentially her honest feelings. We got a glimpse of that when she invited (well.. more like "ordered") him to join her at a meal of crabs. All biting, scratching and teasing notwithstanding, she did realize that he was going out of his way to help her alot, just like she picked up early that he developed an interest in her, which she used to tease the heck out of him in ep2. For now, I'll hope that she'll return into tsundere mode and give him heck next ep - with enough sweetness when it counts to come by.

I'm curious if the other characters will be as interesting. Looking forward to ep3!

Don't get me wrong I appreciate the time that each individual devotes in encoding/muxing, but especially translating and timing, I know how hard and time-consuming it is. It's just that gg, despite the quality have a tendency to snap mid-way and drop series and they or others using in their name tend to troll quite often

Yep that's what I'm hoping and expecting, Hitagi without a sharp tongue just wouldn't be Hitagi to me after these first two episodes

Pani Poni Dash had three OP, with more but minor variations in the animation. Eva had the same ending, but sung by different VAs and with different orchestration (there is an english word for that which currently eludes me)
