No at least not in the shows but then again the Empire really wasn't all that evil in that one especially compare alliance they were going up against which seemed to be run by genocidal xenophobes. Also the male protagonist was ordinary pretty much in everyway a bit on the lucky side with the way some stuff went but that's it.
