That brings up Zettai Karen Children in my mind..... Actually, no, it just brings up Hyoubu Kyosuke. He's just weird and OP as hell.... At least by ZKC standards.

.....Would anybody hold it against me if I were to make Academy City sentient and made it out to kill my OP!Touma in one of my future Arcs in To Ascend?

By the way, is the Endymion no Kiseki movie completely translated yet?

I was thinking of another esper ability that I want to put in used by a character. The ability to change the specific heats of matter.

I wanted her to be accelerator's level

EnK novel is fully translated it seems. Movie i still don't know.

Specific heats of matter.... Wouldn't that be like an amped up version of Uiharu's ability?

Well so to speak, it's a different mechanism of heat manipulation from Uiharu's power.

Changing heat mean a flow of Joules or units of energy. Changing specific heats means changing the units of energy required to heat up a unit of mass by one unit of temperature.

So she can flash freeze or spontaneously combust objects under her power.

She'd have to be careful not to cause global warming.....

You said she'd be at Accelerator's level (by the way, do you mean before or after he got crippled?), which means that she might do some serious damage on the planetary level.

If you don't believe me, then you have to remember what Accelerator did to the Windowless Building when he borrowed enough energy from Earth to slow it down for five minutes.

I'm pretty sure she can cause some form of extinction level event without a power up mechanism, I just haven't thought it out that far yet

She doesn't have the power to affect things on a planetary scale... Unless you count burning the local atmosphere to the temperature of the sun's surface.

Now we have another esper that can be just as powerful as Accelerator? She better have some type of weak sauce weakness, though......

I don't understand this. Touma felt the heat from the magically ignited flames? Shouldn't he felt resistant to it? just like innocentius which is 3000 degree Celsius that burns metal at close range. If touma isn't immune to this kind of side effects (as long as supernaturally conducted) then his dead already just in vol 1.

The after effect or damage to surrounding can't be negated but the side effect can't be lessen or completely negated by IB.

...... You only just realized the potential for manzai skits now?

A while back, I had this crack fic idea where Aiwass took the form of a human female to meet Kamijou. Their interactions would just be Boke and Tsukkomi because Aiwass has some messed up understanding involving humans and their customs.

Its part of the authors changes.

IB isn't quite the IB we know - its weaker.

And also doesn't internally make sense anymore.

Basically, the author has made the Railgun girls - minus Misaka - more competent, Index more hands on and able to use magic, made all the villains/antagonists so far less competent, and has left Misaka and especially Touma less capable.

And he or she has a penchant for changing things for the sake of changing things, with mixed results.

Spoiler for Not sure what I was thinking...: One idea that hit me is that shortly after Mugino and Touma hook up, Mugino is once again trash talking either about Touma or to Touma about something/someone. Touma's had a REALLY stressful day and Mugino's bitching isn't helping him in the slightest, so after a little bit of it, he finally snaps and yells at Mugino about her dishing all the shit out to people, but wonders if she can actually take the same punishment. Mugino shuts up and glares at Touma and tells him in an icy tone that she can deal with whatever he can throw at her because she doesn't believe he has the balls to go through with anything. So Touma decides to prove her wrong and pulls her into the bedroom and shut the door with a lock. Next morning Touma wakes up sore, but refreshed and Mugino wanting the collar again... ...I have no clue what the hell my brain just spat out or why it even spit that out in the first place...
