Sorry to double-post, but I have an important question. With the manga starting up again...do we know what's going on with the translation? It's stopped at Chapter 30, even though the raws have gone up to 33 for a year now...

The group who translated the manga, Rapid Switch, dissolved last year. I don't have much hope that there will be people picking up where the translators stopped.

Also, have anyone grabbed Versus Colors from Steam?

As for Versus Colours, haven稚 picked it up myself, but according to reviews, it痴 pretty shit.

Yeah, Versus Color is a budget title, so no high expectation there.

Also, J-Novel Club has just released Volume 9. We now can finally read about the sport festival.

Finally, J-Novel Club has reached the point where translators stop before. We'll likely be able to start reading volume 11 in November (thus it won't be finished until December).

Some interesting tibits from volume 9:

- Tatenashi's greatest wish is to protect everyone whom she holds dear, and she considers herself a "shield" to them. Perharps not concidentally, "Tatenashi" contains the character for "shield". The whole name means "Shieldless" A.K.A. unyielding armor
- List of things Tatenashi likes: Shogi, Kendama, tater tots, bacon-wrapped asparagus, English muffin, salad, and orange sherbet (the last five were what Ichika made for her boxed lunch)
- The mysterious American special forces unit who attacked ISA in volume 8 is called "Unnamed". In volume 9 Ichika and Tatenashi infiltrate an aircraft carrier ran by an unit called "Erased". I suppose we can safely presume that the translator forgot and these two groups are one and the same
- Iris Calling boards the arcraft carrier sometime before Ichika and Tatenashi. When the two come, the carrier has already been empty except for Iris (maybe they have abandoned ship after the failed attack?) Iris is a member of the "US Infinite Stratos Forces", and so presumably she is on the ship to investigate another American unit, the Unnamed/Erased
- Squall was presumably a member of te Unnamed/Erased unit before she was "killed" in an incident twelve years ago. "Squall" might not even be her real name
- The degree of cybernetics Squall has is unknown, but at least her left arm is. She laments how long is it for Phantom Task to repair her parts.

Wow LN ending? Who does Ichika end with? Only 2 choices for me is Chifuyu or Ran, Houki's sister is ok too. anyone else NTY
