Cheers for the comments but I dont serve unfortunitly.

Those photos are actually from airsoft milsim events i attended so the gear and equipment is all personaly owned. (top pic is US m81 with a Full Spectrum Battle Equipment FSBE and Canadian Cadpat with an Eagle RRV.)

Although being from a military family means i get alot of free stuff and hand me downs =]

It is called Load Bearing Vest (if you still got it and the label hasn't faded, it is indicated in the waterbag compartment). And it sucks, putting on the body armor with it + full ammo load is 10kg ++, which is about 20% of my body weight already, adding the backpack, it is around 18-20kg. Thank goodness I am a clerk now (used to be a regimental policeman).

And from those photos, the extra ammo belt around your waist looks pretty heavy. If you are from US, there are 3 units which wear the jungle hat as standard headgear, the Green Berets, SEALs and Rangers (equivalent of Guards in Singapore and a quick deploy raiding unit). From UK would be the infantry, especially the Queen's Dragoon Guards and Scots Guards, SAS and Marines. I don't know about Canada though, but all commando units use the jungle hat because it helps to keep the sun out of the eyes.

Btw Drake, is the gun in your hand a SCAR L or a M4?

The belt setup is usualy fine but i had BFG packed in the back at the time the photos were taken and they're very weighty.

Im sporting a different m4 in each 2 pics (first one is a custom EOD m4 i built).
