TV ratings were very good for it's timeslot and it's DVD sales for each volume have been above 5 thousand overall pretty good.

i wouldnt be surprised if there will be some filler material even after the event happens. its a short arc which allows somefiller given they devote all 3 eps to that arc. they need atleast 2/3 eps to get most if not all of it.

Manga time and anime time work completely different. The first OVA could handle those chapters fine in 30 minutes with the other two being who-knows-what.

theres also that posibility. though squeezing that arc into 1ep imo is just cheap/destroys the arc. 45min eps could work with 1 arc for that ep.

Whoah, is anyone else aware of the fact that To Love-Ru will actually continue their episodes, but they will be OVA's? I just saw the trailer for the OVA's that are to come out for To Love-Ru. It seems to be April 4, 2009? Was anyone else aware that this trailer was out? It can be seen on youtube, it'll cover major important characterization developments.

As expected. Un, very much as expected.
Let's say this, if you enjoyed every episode of ToLoveRu before, I'm sure you will enjoy this one too.

A whole episode about breasts! Wow!
Yuki gets turned into a girl and gets toyed around by various characters, Saki brings him to her house (apparently, no one can tell it is him) because he fainted from being kissed by the principal, and Lala turns him back to a male in the mansion so Saki and the other two attack him. The end.
Oh, and for the ones that care, Yami uses her powers and becomes an adult with big breasts in one scene.

Anyways, it was boring. Nothing was actually all that funny, the jokes are old as always, it's been a while since I've seen this quality. Then again, the anime was pretty much as "interesting" as this episode for the most part. I guess one thig I noticed is that the breasts bounced a lot in the episode. In a gross meaning.

OP was... horrible. The moment it started, I had the urge to close the window, when Lala appears with her breasts bouncing unnaturally. At least Haruna's didn't... I would have bought a fake Death Note and did some name writing if they did that to her...
ED was OK. As always, Lala's existence is made of annoying and fanservice. Pajama Haruna! (；´Д｀)ハァハァハァハァハァハァハァハァハァハァ Only this part was good! ハァハァハァハァハァハァ... Calm down, haaaa........

Not sure if it is because I haven't seen it for a long time, but the character designs kind of look different...?

I hate Lala so bad. The fanservice is over the top! People who read/watch this and expect something really good, I suggest you hit up Urusei Yatsura, because it's basically the same plot, except the difference is Lum is a complete stalker nut who hurts Ataru every time he tries to grab other girls, which he actually deserves rather than the same misunderstanding every chapter.

I'm not particularly interested in To-LOVE-Ru because the premise sounded too much like your average harem series, but the Riko chapters were entirely different.

So yeah, I admit it, I'm only here to satisfy my guilty pleasure of seeing Riko in action.

Just saw the raws, and boy did it deliver the perverted laughs, they even added a bit with Riko imagining what life would be if she (he?) remained a girl forever, like waking up nekkid together with Lala, accidentally checking up on Haruna's panties (while exposing her own as well), getting groped by other girls, and Yami actually letting her off the hook because she "doesn't attack girls".

Naturally, Riko came to the conclusion: "Hey, this isn't bad at all!" LOL

A pity she can't remain a girl forever. In fact, I dare say To-LOVE-Ru would be 200% more entertaining if they had Riko as the lead instead of Rito.

if riko stayed like that then it would have some of the audience drop the anime as some would probably not like the yuri factor. the ova was interesting as it did go off the usual pace of the manga in the ch prevoius 99 ch. i can say im surprised how they didnt really put many obstuctions to censor the caracters. maybe BC its a ove that they can relax censorship as opposed to a 13-26 run anime on tv. it was a decent ep as it followed the manga for the most part and put some fillers in. i did not like any of the OP or ED but then again TLR's music never caught my attention b4.

The OP was horrible, 2 small good points it at least had normal haruna and yami bounce. And it did fit the theme of the episode.

Agreed, Watanabe Akeno is most capable of doing a feminine voice, as seen in Riko's imagination about what life would be like as a girl forever.

To give her the benefit of the doubt, she's probably just sounding like how a freaked out boy would when discovering he's turned into a girl. Though she could have added a bit more femininity to Riko's voice.

Also agreeing that the character designs were a little different in this compared to the TV series. Haven't read any of the manga (will do eventually), so i'm not sure which ones resemble the original more.
