Glad the series is better than last season... Happy that they focus a little more on the romance side of the series....

the biggest surprise is Zenkichi was such a cute kid long time ago

I agree, this second season is really better than the first one. A surprise for me of the fall season.
By the way, putting aside his cuteness, what Zenkichi was doing in that hospital? Wasn't that a medical institution for abnormal children? So we can guess that at least he was checked as abnormal, and failed. (Because we have to admit he is far from being normal. He can fights and wins against abnormals. So to see him in that facility didn't come totally out of the blue)

That's not the actual reason...not that you'll ever see what it is since there won't be a third season.

Which is sad because the reason why he's there is important in regards to certain people other than Medaka.

Well, TBH I wouldn't have expected a second season of Medaka either, so probably there's still hope, somewhere.

Still that's a facility for abnormals, so theoretically the easiest explanation should be that he is also abnormal.
Obviously, now my speculations are pointing to him being a sort of catalyst for abnormals, looking how he influenced Medaka with just few phrases.

Not that I was asking for spoilers. Let's see if they really won't do a III season.

Well, I'll be damned. Next week is really Good Loser Kumagawa, so the series will end (forever?) on that giant cliffhanger. I guess they didn't care anymore and just decided to give the fans what they wanted.

She says that the next episode won't adapt the material from GLK novel but it takes place somewhere in this timeline; it would be anime original episode by Nishio again.
Also she says that Drama CD "Good Loser" will come as the purchase bonus for buying DVD.

Magnificent. Glorious. I sat through these last 22 and 3/4 episodes just for that very last minute. That the last episode is not another ep of Medaka Box Abnormal but Good Loser Kumagawa is a real bonus. How the episodes up till now have been handled, be it poorly or fine, no longer matter. Whatever I've said about the anime no longer matter. The poor DVD sales no longer matter. Whether the (unlikely to happen) third season happens or not no longer matters. All that matters is-
