Everything is magic powered~ For the golems, they basically have power generators that are magic crystals that have been programmed to function as such. For the jet engines he uses in his planes and boats, iirc, it worked under a concept similar to dams. They intake air/water and pump it out while having some other processes in between that I don't remember anymore because there was so much jargon.

For the engines used in land vehicles, he made a bunch of golem arms that constantly keep spinning contraptions and such. Again, lots of jargon and stuff so I don't remember all the details.

Oh, and the laser weaponry is based on a magic that he made himself which is just converging light into a beam and he just enchants that magic into the weapon.

Light as in natural sunlight? it doesn't excite special material to generate the beam? dun think that's powerful enough.....

Again, I don't remember all the details. The laser magic explanation was pretty early on in the novel and as per usual with this novel, lots of jargon = lots of it goes out the other ear after a while.

I was rooting for her since she's first girl,but guess that didn't happen lol.
Maybe the mc is denser than the robots around him for that to happen.

I think I mentioned it before in this thread, but around 17 or so WN volumes, Jin was literally unable to have any romantic emotions because of defects that occurred in his body when it was rebuilt in the very beginning of the story. Until that defect was healed, everything was limited to familial love.
