Not a bad episode....a little dramatic compared to what I'm use to with this show, but it still worked out. I think the PERFECT way to end this tournament is for Cinque and Gaul to turn in to their Hero modes, and duke it out, DBZ style with everyone else going holy sh%t.

As far as the romance, with all the girls being so close and openly in love with him, Cinque just might be able to pull off a harem ending.

Not really anything to confess. EVERYBODY knows she likes him, and Cinque just doesn't care about romance. She's pretty much just confirmed her ticket in the in love with Cinque fanclub.

Nothing much, really. It kinda just affirms everything we already know, just putting it on the perspective of Eclair.

That... and the fact that everyone's got Eclair read like a book. Or wikipedia page.

The optimistic side of me thinks that if there's going to be an actual 'rocking of the romance boat', it'll come from Eclair. Milhi has clearly resigned herself towards 'not wanting to rock the boat', any other girls relatively serious about him feels the same, and the rest... like him, but not 'that way.'

As for what this episode changes, it's basically clearing away Eclair's emotional hurdles. It's a very minor thing that for the other girls, are a 3 minutes thing, but you know how 'rabu-rabu' stuff and Eclair mix like water and oil.

If Dog Days was a romance show, this episode would basically be the prelude to an epic confession that would change the way the relationship of the romance *insert shape* works...

Too bad Dog Days isn't that, and we've got our super-diluted confession mixed in with various other names + Crowning Moment of Dual-Wielding Awesome instead.

But you would think... Seeing how they made a really big deal out of this... Even to the point of making Rico cry... You would think something big was going to come out of it all

C'mon, an older sister needs to have the pleasure of witnessing her little brother's splendour, and growth. ( albeit artificial in this case )

If I have one generic complaint about Dog Days, it's that Iska and Hina are like a black-hole of sibling love/relationship that has essentially sucked away the presence of other sibling relationships in this series. ( Eclair/Roland & Leo/Gaul )

Yes, I know S1 wasn't exactly doing anything with that either, but I would've liked to see a bit more sibling time instead of just non-stop petting.

Although this episode focuses on Eclair, one of my fav in the series, but on the whole, it's not quite a fun as Ep 5, 6 or 7. Do hope they can finish this on a high.
