[Anime-only] Naruto Shippuden Episode Discussion

So guys... recently the genre of this show changed into comedy. I've been laughing a lot watching how filler this has become. Studio Perriot is so shameless I can't even believe it. They were using this illusion dream arc to just go all out and write a plot that doesn't even have to make any sense.

The worst part is that I don't care about a single thing that is happening because even if everyone dies it's just a freaking dream. Who cares about whether things end up well in dreams...

I'm just laughing as I watch the audacity of this arc as it unfolds.

It's so bad that it has actually become good to make fun of.

Reading a good book on a rainy night..
The giant monster fish situation successfully dealt with.
Well, that cooperation with Akatsuki guys ended fast..
Some other truths came out though.

Looking at released episode titles it looks like this filler will continue into the new year.

haha it is really like i said, the filler-nightmare wont stop XD XD the studio finally got a INCREDIBLE good excuse for dragging the anime into a endless sstory about shinobi-dreams of all known (and maybe even unknown) chars in the story so far

I called it. Back when this whole filler shenanigan started, and I mentioned that UNS4's delay to February was connected (because UNS2 and 3 were released BEFORE the ends of the story arcs they covered were shown on the anime)

following a story that clearly will show episodes for months that have no influence in the actual plot whatsoever sounds pretty "zombie-like" for me XD

How's this for depressing.

Of the 44 Naruto episodes so far this year only 11 include material from the manga and of those 11 episodes only 5 are filler free.

We all make excuses for filler being acceptable as a way for the source material to get ahead but when the manga ended a year ago last Friday this is just ridiculous.

that is crazy They certainly ruined it for me with all the filler. The manga itself was heavily fillered in the shinobi war. To add the show's filler on top is just a slap in the face.

Naruto to Naruto shippuden isn't really a season change though they did a name change to try and win back some of the audience lost during the 70+ weeks of filler. There wasn't any gap in broadcasting or day/time change.

Sped my way through this ep.
Lots & lots of talking..
I'm sick of watching powerless kid Naruto..
It was nice to Sasuke though..

So this filler arc alone is gonna compose over a month's worth of time, and it's a nigh-certainty that it won't be the last filler before we get back to canon material...

I don't think heavy Naruto filler around this time is unusual?
