plot twist, in the middle of battle, some Dark Cooking Organization storm the competition and kidnap all of the chef to gourmet world, including todokoro. only souma manage to escape because he is fortunately in the toilet, now go souma! defeat the Dark Cooking Organization!

And then Souma reveals his hidden secret, where his scarf actually hid a secret layer that he's kept hidden from everyone...

Souma is actually a Super Chef, someone who recieved the highest honor in the Chinese Cooking World, and he had merely kept his skills sealed because of a tragic incident revolving around his mom, who instructed him to seal his hidden power until the time is right.

And then Miyoko becomes the main heroine.

Now that you mention it... this happens with about 90% of all tournements in manga and anime

Disgusted with his incompetency to save Megumi, Soma begs the "Asura" to teach him the way to save Megumi from the Dark Cooking Organization.

After a few chapters later, Asura was seen fighting the leader of the Dark Cooking Organization at the summit of Nippon.

P.S. Leader of that Dark Cooking Organization has the same tongue as Erina, it just that it can extend further...a little bit.

I dont understand why everyone thinks soma is great when he lost to alice by 2 point while she wasnt even trying also souma prepared for a month just for this dish while alice casually made it . Lets also not forget that alices dish was beyond understanding which also made her get less points then she deserve so souma being all rounder doesnt really mean anything here . This is a big dissapointment for souma no matter how you look at it and i ca pretty much say alice has some chance against ashura while souma has none , with the way thing are i can pretty much say souma is weaker then we thought he is .

What on Earth makes you think Alice made her dish casually? She clearly said that she worked hard on it.

Alice's dish being so revolutionary is probably why she got such a high score.

Almost nobody in this manga has any chances against Ashura.

Also this chapter has raised a quiestiion:
When dish is using some rare or incredible ingredient which makes it tasty - it's de facto supreme dish. Is true it - or not?

Kudos to Souma - he is using simple ingredients(anybody can find or buy it) and not using ultra equipment.

P.S Souma learnt something from his last fight with Jouichirou

We're still early in the series. He doesn't need to beat Alice right now. Personally, I think Alice will win the tournament and then challenge Erina to a shokugeki that she will end up winning. Souma's battle will happen one way or another. We don't know all of the specifics of the Autumn Election, do we?

Funny right, we still havent see an ultimate rival for Soma huh? You know, those traditional main character father's nemesis(beaten by main character's father few decade ago)who sent his son to the same school to fight the main character in order to restore his family honor and glory.
