The Pentacostals are the ones who speak in tounges
Also, why don't you use that power as his innate magical ability. It uses less HAX, concerning the power of Nanohaverse.
Whatever.
And that isn't a part of the Nanohaverse - it's a different one that I've been constructing for over a year. I'll work on it AFTER my Nanoha works - but it'll take time.
*notices Aaron chilling in the corner with both Tohkiha twins*
As much as I think you're currently the luckiest man in the thread for the above situation, THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!!!
I was just joking about the de-h4xxing.
Can't reply to others yet. Gotta run soon, but I must make this post while I'm still going ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-ga-...
(And hopefully cheer poor Aaron up enough to notice that Hayate and Ringo are beside him)
How can I cheer up even if I'm with them when they're still radiating dark waves of shaft-induced depression?!

It seems to be implied that the core of Vivio's combat-prowess lies more in smart-combat... and we know Vivio's mentally not in her right mind at her fighting mode, and with the loss of Cradle and Relic, she no longer has her power source either.
I'd say Vivio's potential was SS+ and above, since she's supposed to be stronger the longer a fight drags out and her shield is supposed to be extremely strong, but her conditioning pushed her to Synthetic S, if only because of the Barrier.
Oh yes, that... Vivio wasn't fighting smart at all. More like a Super Saiyajin in a tantrum more than anything else...

Some nerfs are going to take place soon. How does the idea of a cluster blast attack sound? A single orb explodes releasing a host of secondary orbs, which explode to release a third round, and so forth. The power decreases exponentially over a number of rounds, of course, but enough to flatten Minions by the thousands. [Though that's just a fraction of the actual number of Minion invasion that I have in mind ... ]
Bubble cluster bomb? Sounds reasonable enough.

So I thought it would be cool to instead turn the Dying Souls into a passive trait of hers so that they would form independently of her will. Of course the problem is she'd end up amassing a huge quantity of them just by going about her daily business without some way to restrict them. And by that same logic they should then naturally form pretty slow she'd have no way to replenish them effectively in a battle.
But of course the overall idea of them is as you said. So she can use higher level magic then her mage rank states. Of course that comes with all that lovely stress on your body so its not like she'd just use it all too much...
That idea sounds sound. (pun not intended) Though you'd have to give her some sort of Rare-Skill classification to clear things up... But it could very well work.

Would the changes affect Rebuilt, BTW? If you want, you can keep the old profile for RevivalS if it isn't scrapped yet (as well as Rebuilt, if needed). I can just make a new profile and place it in a separate section. Do note that I'm going with this version starting now...
Like hell it would! Continuing from yesterday, it's fine really, I was just joking. Don't worry about the Oyaji (mind if the junior Cleric-knights call him that?), there'd be enough room for some fun, like binds, for the Numbers.
So in other words, I'm swallowing Aurion's new profile whole. Kha is also getting deh4xx'd from Rebuilt btw. Not only is he more true to his roots, he makes more sense now.
But the mountain of skills remain, since he is the Copycat Ninja Knight.

Gosh sorry! Must've missed it while charging through. I'll do that for videos.
But since I needed the pics for aesthetic value, could I post a second version without them along with one without pics?
Here's the de-pic-ted version:
Spoiler for RS, go!:
STARS-03 Rebuilt of Subaru
Spoiler for Subaru, Queen of Braves:
Subaru, Queen of Braves
Subaru Nakajima (スバル・ナカジマ) is Stars 03 of the inaugeral Riot 6 taskforce. Subaru has a deep-rooted admiration of Nanoha Takamachi, aspiring to be just like her, even making her own version of the infamous Divine Buster. Subaru means Pleiades in Japanese.
Trivia: Many aspects of her character, including her status as a cyborg, Mach Caliber transformation, and typical attack routine, appear to be a heavy nod to the 1997 anime The King of Braves GaoGaiGar and its sequel OVA.
Rebuilt for StrikerS
Four years before the events of the series, Subaru had been caught in a fire at a Mid-Childan airport along with her older sister Ginga. Confused and crying, just as a statue was about to crush her, she was rescued by Nanoha. Nanoha created a hole in the roof using Divine Buster to make her exit with Subaru, and the experience left Subaru with a deep admiration for and the desire to be just like Nanoha.
At the very start of the series, Subaru participated in a test with Teana Lanster to raise their Mage Ranks from C to B, though she didn't know that she and Teana were being observed by Nanoha, Fate T. Harlaown and Hayate Yagami as potential students and members of a new division of the TSAB Ground Armed Forces, Mobile Division 6. Though the 2 were accepted into the new division, they had failed the test. But they were given a special opportunity to retake it without having to wait.
(We all know that, so no need for me to cover this is in Rebuilt. I’ll work from what Erio and Caro were doing during that time. )
Subaru's excitement at being a member of the same squad as Nanoha and being taught directly her idol may have had her jumping, but Subaru, having a completely different way of fighting from her commander, instead trains in close combat with her sub-commander, Vita. Subaru's style is unrefined, as she initially opted to use barriers in situations where shields are more appropriate.
Subaru's paternal family originated from Earth, having only been naturalized only a a few generations back, like how Fate is a naturalized descendent of an Italian mage. From both Fate’s and Subaru’s perspective, "Earth" is referred to as "Non-Administrated Planet 97".
Subaru's friendship with Teana, though the latter may claim that it is strained, is very close, to the point of devotion. During a time when Teana was angsting over a friendly fire incident, Subaru made every effort to keep Teana's spirits up, helped her train and even criticised Nanoha's decisions to punish Teana for overdoing her efforts.
Subaru, and her sister Ginga, are not normal human beings, but are combat cybernetic organisms called Sentokijin. And as investigations into the Numbers progressed, and even later when Ginga was brought to Jail’s facility, more was revealed.
Many years ago, Genya and Quint discovered that she was incapable of childbirth, even with the state of advancement of Midchilda medicine. Both were very disappointed, but Genya did his best to hide it, to no avail expectedly. Quint then resorted underhanded means to produce children, approaching one Dr. Wily and his team. This resulted in the creation of the Nakajima twins which Quint then “conveniently rescued” from a disused research facility.
This makes sense. In the revelation during a flashback in episode 23, when, while Quint was still alive, Ginga and Subaru were undergoing examination, it was discovered that the siblings had very uncannily similar genetic makeup to Quint.
By the end of the series, Subaru has assumed the field roles once held by Nanoha, and is last seen rescuing two children from a sinking ship, bearing the wings worthy of her new title, the Queen of Braves.
Powers
Even though she uses Belka magics, Subaru is considered a mage instead of a knight, as she has applied only the principles of Belka combat to her style, instead of working on it lock, stock and barrel like Erio and Kha do. Subaru's form of magic-use is a hand-to-hand form called "Shooting Arts", which was taught to Subaru by her sister and is focused on shooting and magic-enhanced attacks. This is another reason why Subaru is not technically a Knight.
Revolver Shoot — Subaru's most basic attack, she uses this in almost all of her battles. It "shoots" a powerful sonic shockwave out of her Revolver Knuckle, capable of tearing through metal and even through weak defensive spells. It's range varies from close range to melee. Previously this spell consumed a single cartridge, but after Subaru received Mach Caliber, she gained the ability to use this spell without the need to expend cartridges. Visually, it is a reference to the iconic Broken Magnum technique of GaoGaiGar fame.
Revolver Cannon — A variation of Revolver Shoot, though it is a completely melee Magic-enhanced Attack spell instead of a close-ranged Shooting spell. It possesses tremendous knockback, sending the target it strikes flying.
Revolver Phantom — Another variation of RS, and is a melee attack like RC, but RP uses Subaru's IS to deal a bone-jarring Revolver strike to her foe, shattering through solid defences like armor, shields and barriers. Fields are less affected by this attack as fields can reverberate with the oscillations without shattering, forcing Subaru to muscle her way through.
Divine Buster — Subaru's own version of Nanoha's Divine Buster, though with some minor differences. Subaru performs move by creating a ball of magic in front of her and punching it with her Revolver Knuckle, unlike Nanoha's Divine Buster which is charged and fired by Raising Heart. It's also used more similarly to Revolver Shoot than the original Divine Buster. Subaru wasn't taught this ability; she made it herself using Nanoha as her inspiration. Unlike Nanoha's Divine Buster, it is a short burst of energy rather than a full beam. This spell consumes 2 cartridges. Visually, it is akin to the Broken Phantom technique.
Barrier Jacket — Subaru's Barrier Jacket is fairly similar to Nanoha's though it lacks a few elements. As it is structured and textured differently, it's referred as a Barrier Jacket rather than Knight Armor.
Protection — Like the Protection used by Nanoha, this an Auto-Guard spell used by Mach Caliber, though the actual barrier is projected from the Revolver Knuckle by unfurling vanes. Subaru's Protection is fairly strong, able to take blows from Vita's Graf Eisen without breaking. It can even reflect some low level attacks.
Visually, Protection is a reference to the Protect Shade and Protect Wall techniques used by GaoGaiGar.
Wing Road — Subaru creates a road for her to travel through the air using Mach Caliber. This essentially allows Subaru to fly without the need to develop the actual skills required for flight.
Absorb Grip — Also referred to as "Assault Grip", Absorb Grip creates an attractive force between the wheels of Mach Caliber and the surface they are in contact with. This force is strong enough to enable Subaru to traverse even completely vertical surfaces, such as walls.
Mach Knee — Subaru lunges at high-velocity using one of Mach Caliber’s knee guards for a powerful winding gutbuster. It can be an effective close range attack or an attack of desperation.
Mach Knee-O — A variation of MK that adds Oscillating Breaker's effects to the attack.
Gear Second — First seen in episode 15, this ability increases the speed of Mach Caliber's movement.
Gear Excelion — Mach Caliber's Full Drive, this is the "upgraded" version of the "Gear Second" ability. In this form, Mach Caliber has wings (resembling Nanoha's "Accel Fin"). Those wings enhance Subaru's speed and ability to jump. Subaru uses the Full Drive of her Mach Caliber, followed by a Divine Buster blast from her Revolver Knuckle, to destroy the G-stone of the Figh system and hence shut the berserk armor down.
Inherent Skill: Oscillating Breaker
In addition to the above, Subaru's IS was shown in episode 17 after she went berserk. According to Quattro (Number #4), who names it as "Oscillating Breaker", it's an attack that deals tremendous damage, with exceptional effectiveness to solid brittle surfaces, and hence has a practically hissatsu¬-type effect on poorly-damped armor and spells certain death for sentokijin should she/he take one hit undefended.
In the StrikerS manga, Shario refers to Wing Road as another Inherent Skill while putting the finishing touches on Mach Caliber, stating that programming Mach Caliber to be able to use Wing Road on its' own is complicating the device's completion.
Subaru and Ginga weren't just ordinary sentokijin, but were a completely different pedigree above the rest like the Cinque-gen Numbers, as their mother's DNA base reacted well with their Machine Cores, resulting in a special being able to link technological weapons and cast magic spells, the rare Evoluder. This immediately caught Jail's attention when Due discovered the twins' unique data within the TSAB mainframe. Over the years, the Doctor and his Top 3 will observe the Nakajima sisters closely. And the fascinatedly Scagletti would try means and ways to test out his theories without getting noticed.
The bird-like Gadget X Genesis, which Subaru affectionately calls GadgetGao, and its more practical and streamlined Gadget X Reviera being Ginga’s, were the end-result of Jail’s efforts. Both Gadgets were aimed at completing the sisters' Machine Cores and what sets the Gadgets apart from mere magical devices or technological weapons is that they can run on both mana and the artificial triphosphate (ATP) fuels that sentokijin normally use to power their IS.
However, as he only had his own sentokijin to test the Gadgets out on, there was a slight chance that the Gadgets could be rejected by the Nakajimas' bodies. Luckily for Subaru, it worked fine. Ginga wasn't so lucky, even though she tried the system on earlier at the lab without a hitch.
Was it yet another part of Jail's omnipotent plans?
Regardless, Dieci first equipped Gadget X to place herself on equal footing with Nanoha, but later, after Cinque launched her mutiny, gave it to Artei to ferry the bird to Subaru. The windserpent-like mechanical familiar carries all the parts and software needed for Subaru to transform into her Limiter Break form, Heart of Braves.
Like how Ginga summons a protective transformation bubble at the command of Lyrical Fusion! to activate her Limiter Break Heart of Power, Subaru calls upon GadgetGao, which then releases 5 devices from its Lunar Fold. At the same time, Subaru jettisons her outer jacket and skirt along with the Knuckles and Mach Caliber. The Revolvers and Mach calibre then transform and fuse with the unleashed Gadget Tools before docking onto her arms and legs. GadgetGao then latches onto Subaru’s back, its head transforming into her chest mantle and granting Subaru her G-Crown from which Mach Caliber’s crystal core emerges.
Once the device fusion into her cybernetics is complete, Subaru powers up and is able to fight with Ginga on more equal footing, and eventually defeats her with Gear Excelion.
Subaru gains access to several new abilities as well.
Mach Knee-E — A variation of Mach Knee, using one of Heart of Braves’ knee-mounted drills for a much more devastating attack. The “E” supposedly stands for Enhanced.
Protection Hold — Genesis’ complex defence system allows Protection to bind an enemy if it attempts to make direct physical contact with the barrier, creating an effective counter.
Wing Road Galeo — It is the upgraded version of Wing Road that, due to the increased mana flux amplitude, is wider, increases movement speed of all allies on the path, and is resistant to AMF disruption. It can also act as a conveyor belt.
Gadget Fin — Subaru unfurls her machine wings and allows her to fly.
Giga Drill Breaker — By detaching the two drills from her knee-covers then attaching them in line over her right Revolver knuckle, Subaru then funnels mana and ATP to create a giant all-piecring drill then charges the enemy with Gadget Fin deployed.
As a true demonstration the saying "the Drill is one's Soul", even though Berserker and Subaru never met, the awesome attack created independently are exactly the same.
Double Boomerang FINAL — See Teana's profile. :3
In addition to these basic abilities, Genesic Subaigar can utilize a number of onboard Gadget Tools formed from GadgetGao’s multi-segmented "tail". These are as follows:
Oscillator Knife — Formed from the last segment of the tail of GadgetGao and attaches over the right Evolver Knuckle. Essentially a powerful punch knife, it harnesses Subaru’s IS Oscillation Breaker to lance through solid material and defences. In fact, the harder the armor, thus the more brittle, the weaker it is to Oscillator Knife. The sound effect of the blade in operation is reminiscent of EVA-02’s Vibroblade.
Heavy Bolter — Formed from the two segments closest to the "head" of GadgetGao, which combine and attach in-line over the left Evolver Knuckle. This forms Subaru’s ranged side-arm, and can fire magical armor-piercing or high-explosive rounds, or other Bolts for other effects.
Hell and Heaven
The skill of the Gespein Amazon! The most powerful known version of Hell and Heaven, even more than the one used by Quint herself. Uses the center three segments of the tail, which split over Subaru and collect over both of her hands to create gigantic "claws" that are used with the ability, which is otherwise similar in nature to other versions of Hell and Heaven. When Subaru uses this ability, she speaks the full chant of the Gespein: "Remu Riru Ran Ro Rufo, VIRAL!"
Trivia: Quint's maiden name was Gespein, and hence her knowledge of the familial skill, the Gespein Shooting Arts.
Post StrikerS:
Granzon Crusher
Despite the numerous differences between Subaru’s and Ginga’s Gadgets, Subaru is capable of using the massive hammer-like Granzon Crusher, which was designed for Ginga’s use and stored on the Cradle. However, Subaru had to smash her arm into the connector for an interface to occur, and even then it had to be hacked through her newfound Evoluder abilities.
True, true. But, once the business is done ...? *wink*

The Order of Freelance Mages (OFM) — commonly known as OFM in the TSAB Navy, The Order by unit members, Order of Freelance Mages to general TSAB services, and Contractor Group O by the TSAB HQ — is a Special Operations Force (SOF) and an integral element of the Secial Operations & Private Contractor Command (SOPCC) of the Time Space Administration Bureau (TSAB).
The OFM's primary tasks are investigation and assassination of corrupt TSAB personnel, and covert intervention operations into Non-Administered worlds, although it is an extremely versatile group capable of assuming many missions, including, but not limited to, hostage rescue, counter-terrorism, raiding operations, and elimination of covert enemy forces. The OFM conducts missions similar to those attributed to the Erusian Army Spetsnaz (специального назначения / spetsialnogo naznacheniya) and Navy Special Warfare Group Alpha (Spetsgruppa Alfa/ NAVSPECWARGRU-ALPHA).
Background The Order was started by Colonel Erick von Long in MC 062. A veteran of the Erusian War of Subjugation, von Long created the Order with the aim of covert national interventions into Non-Administered Worlds. After witnessing the explosive end to the Erusian War, where the leaders of Sotoa nuked the planet with a massive stockpile of nuclear weapons, the Order was quietly created to prevent another Sotoa from happening: this aim would be achieved by conducting covert missions into Non-Administered Worlds and acting to prevent the possibility of genocide or planetary self-destruction. As much as possible, von Long made sure that the Order's personnel were trained by the best of the surviving Erusian special forces operators from the Army, Marines and Navy; currently the Order currently conducts its training in-house, the result of 20 years of institutional experience.
The Order is considered a highly effective elite unit, and enjoys the support of the TSAB Navy and SOPCC. It maintains a small base complex on Mid-Childa near SOPCC HQ, but primarily operates from the special operations ship Aus'ruf.
Overview The TSAB's official position on the Order is that it is a group of contract mages from Erusia, who are assigned to peacekeeping and miscellaneous duties. As a result, the Order's reputation amongst frontline TSAB units is low and almost non-existent. The Order relies on stealth and secrecy and its cover to continue functioning; having a well-known reputation would interfere with the infiltration missions the Order conducts.
The Order is granted a great deal of flexibility and autonomy with mission planning; target selection will be done by command authority (Lt. General O'Neill, though the Order has undertaken missions on behalf of the TSAB Navy, specifically Admiral Mandy Carter), but the implementation of the mission is completely under the Order's jurisdiction.
Unlike frontline TSAB units, the Order employs mass-based weapons in direct violation of the ban on conventional weaponry. This is done in order to blend in one Non-Administered Worlds, where the effects of magical discharges can be seen and observed, if not outright understood, and because Order mages operate under deep cover while on missions, and there are many situations where being without a firearm places the operator in a dangerous and disadvantageous situation (particularly around gun-happy cultures.) Conventional shell-firing weapons are easier to explain away, and much simpler to discard and covered up to the Non-Administered World and TSAB (especially if weapons are procured on-site). Furthermore, because of its black nature, the Order operates without official TSAB approval, and must therefore limit magic usage as much as possible, hiding itself from both normal humans and the TSAB, leaving little trace of its presence and disguising what little remains there are as being done by local parties. Lastly, as the Order keeps magic usage to the barest possible minimum, with little magical residue it is easier for plausible deniablity to be maintained.
Weaponry: Counter to TSAB policy and doctrine, the Order employs banned conventional mass-based weaponry; this is due to the reasons outlined above. As almost all Order mages hail from Erusia, the Order's standard issue firearms are those of the Erusian military; however, Order mages have been known to use weapons local to their area of operations when appropriate (Operation VC-1153).
The Order's standard weapons include, but are not limited to:
- MA5C Individual Combat Weapon System: Known to all except REMFs as the Assault Rifle, this is the standard infantry firearm of the Order. Accurate, easy to shoot and use, rugged and tough, shrugging off sand, mud, snow and sludge, it is fondly held by those who use it. The OFM use 40-round magazines in place of the Erusian standard 32-round magazines. Chambered for 7.62mm, the Assault Rifle packs a lot of stopping power into a tough package, with an integrated computerised 1.5x reflex sight, compass and ammo counter. The foregrip can mount a flashlight, underslung shotgun, or a 40mm grenade launcher. Add-on laser designators can be attached to the side of the barrel, but are typically placed in the flashlight mount.
"With this weapon, you feel like god's own anti-son-of-a-blam!-machine."
- M90 Shotgun: the OFM's shotgun, typically carried when a breaching tool is required. It holds 12 8-gauge shells and can fire buckshot, armor-piercing sabot, breaching or high explosive shells. Often employed in urban combat situations and when the intimidation factor of a shotgun is needed; while not as well-used as the Assault Rifle, the OFM's shotguns saw much service in MC 083. While capable of providing heavy firepower at close range, shotguns are useless at long range, and are considered to be specialist weapons.
"I believe that the sound of racking the pump of a shotgun is universally recognized as ‘kiss your ass goodbye’."
- BR55HB SR Battle Rifle. The BR55HB SR is a bullpup rifle that fires the 9.5x40mm X-HP-SAP round (see below). It fires from a 36 round magazine which fits flush in the receiver. The receiver is built directly into the underside of the butt of the gun and is located behind the grip. The BR55 uses a 9.5mm round, giving it larger stopping power than that of the MA5C, and fires in single-fire and 3-round burst, and is equipped with a 2x ACOG scope. It is used typically in the designated marksman role. It has high power, good range, and a decent rate of fire, and is a favored weapon of the Air Wing and Delta Platoon. However, it is not as easy to handle in close quarters as the MA5C, which is why the Assault Platoon generally prefers the MA5C in CQB situations.
“The MA5C’s weakness is that it isn’t as accurate at range, which is why we use the BR55. On the other hand, there’s something…righteous about the sound of an AR on full auto. The BR doesn’t have that.”
- M7/Caseless Submachine Gun: Also known as the M7 SMG, and one of the favored weapons of the Air Wing. The Caseless SMG fires 5mm caseless rounds, leaving no shell casings, making it a useful weapon on black operations. The 60-round magazine, almost twice that of the Assault Rifle, also means that a disciplined user will reload less often compared to a shooter using an MA5C. Lastly, the M7 can be converted to the M7SD: essentially an M7 with a longer barrel and integral supressor to reduce noise levels. Supressed M7SDs are the weapons of choice for nighttime silent ops and for blitz raids, as Ivanovich learned from his experiences in Operation Trebuchet and the fighting in North Point. However, the SMG has high recoil and a high rate of fire, which means that fire discipline is a must when using the SMG; shooters are trained to use controlled bursts instead of full auto. Furthermore the 5mm cartridge is relatively weak and lacks the stopping power of the 7.62mm used in the Assault rifle and the 9.5mm used by the Battle Rifle.
“The recoil isn’t bad but the M7 itself is relatively light. Not unpleasant to shoot, but a little tricky to control—it’s all about controlling the impulse.”
- M6D/G Personal Defense Weapon System: Either a large pistol or a really small rifle (the Erusian Army used a carbine variant of this pistol), the M6 series are the standard issue pistols of the OFM. The M6D sports a 2x scope and Semi Armor Pierching High Explosive ammo, allowing it to do a real number on unshielded organic targets. The M6G model is the same, but replaces the scope with an optional laser aiming sight. Both weapons use 12-round magazines and are used as last-ditch backup weapons. Optional 8-round magazines are used when lighter loads are required. A tried and tested weapon, though some OFM personnel choose to replace the M6 with an M7 instead as their secondary weapon, as the folded M7 is of similar dimensions to the M6 and carries more ammo.
“The M6G is either the Erusia’s biggest pistol or Erusia’s smallest rifle—I’m not quite sure which.”
- M1911A1: The Holy Pistol of the Just and the Righteous, built by Saint John Moses Browning according to the plans he received from God on top of the Mountain. This venerable pistol, the design of which is over 100 years old, is chambered for .45ACP, a union which is a Holy Union, blessed by The Lord, for verily while smaller calibers might expandeth, the .45 shall never shrinketh. A good balance of stopping power, recoil, weight, the 1911 and the .45ACP are considered to be among the best pistol and ammo designs ever created by Earth. This is the standard issue pistol of the Air Wing; each Air Wing mage will have her own customized 1911-style pistol. The decisions to use this pistol was made in light of the fact that the Air Wing mages felt that 12.7mm was overkill on human targets and needed a lighter pistol with good stopping power and less recoil.
"You can have my heart. But there is no way in hell I'm letting you touch my 1911."
-M274 GPMG: The general purpose machinegun of the OFM, this weapon fires belt-fed 7.62mm ammo from a drum. It comes in fixed, portable, Pelican-mounted and Squad Assault variants. The fixed, portable and Pelican versions feature armor plating that protects the operator from enemy fire; the fixed version is placed on a fixed stand, while the portable version is placed on a foldable tripod for easy installation. The Pelican version has an secondary 25mm grenade launcher added on and is mounted in the Pelican's loading bay as a door gun, providing suppression fire for disembarking troops. The Squad Assault Variant (M247E) removes the tripod for barrel-mounted folding bipod legs, has no plate armor, and features lightened parts and a shorter barrel for easier use as an infantry weapon. The M247E uses 100-round belt-fed box magazines.
“It’s a bitch to carry and lug around, that’s for sure. Then you squeeze the trigger and it cuts through mike foxtrots like a knife through butter and makes all that pain worth it.”
-SRS99C Sniper rifle: the sniper rifle platform of choice for the Order, firing 14.5mm Armor piercing discarding sabot rounds. Highly powerful and accurate, these sniper rifles are a nightmare in the hands of a trained sniper. The only drawbacks are the large flash created when firing and the smoke trails that can be used to track the sniper.
"You get hit with one of these, you're dead before you know it. Especially if it's the Sergeant Major or the Master Chief shooting you."
M41 Rocket Launcher: Capable of being loaded with HEAT and SAM rockets, this is one of the Order's most prized fire-support weapons. Heavy and difficult to master, and aiming can be a little hard. On the other hand, the blast radius is pretty big. And the fireballs are very gratifying.[/i]
"It's a rocket launcher, what more do you want to know? Point, shoot, and watch the pretty fireballs."
M7057 Defoliant Projector: An area denial weapon, rarely used by the Order. It's just not that practical for combat, since it's bulky and heavy, it shoots fire in front of you so you can’t walk forward, and it overheats after 3 seconds. On the other hand, it IS a flamethrower...
"I'd love to use one of these, but the Sergeant Major keeps hogging them. Hell if I'm gonna confront him with him carrying one of these."
Organisation The smallest group in the Order’s Assault Company is a squad, consisting of 5-6 members. Two squads form a platoon, and each is expected to maintain proficiency in a number of skills: HALO/HAHO, airmobile, entry, sniping, urban warfare, desert warfare, and so on. While each member is expected to find a specialty, he is also expected to maintain a high level of proficiency in the standard infantry/special forces skills. Each squad typically has three riflemen, one grenadier, one medic, and one sniper/designated marksman, although each man is crosstrained and can take up any role if necessary. This whole principle can be summed up in two words: Diversified Specialization. Each platoon consists of 2 squads of 6 men, and 3 platoons (Alpha, Bravo, Delta) form the Assault Company.
The Air Wing consists of 2 Flights of 8 members, each flight being sub-divided into 2 4-man elements. The Air Wing focuses on countering enemy aerial mages and close air support missions, acting in a similar manner to helicopter gunships and ground attack aircraft: precision strikes from the air, coordinated by ground-based forward controllers. When on the ground, the Air Wing personnel specialize in scouting, recon and stealth ops. All Air Wing personnel are also trained to pilot conventional aircraft and fighters.
The total size of the Order’s support staff is unknown, but estimated to be in excess of 100 people. This number includes the headquarters staff, intelligence gathering and analysis section, mechanics, Pelican dropship crews, infirmary personnel and armory personnel. All OFM support staff are trained as light infantry and form a reserve force that can be issued with body armor and rifles in emergencies.
For the most part a small unit, the Order has recently undergone an expansion; it is estimated that the Order’s current strength in terms of mages is 45: 36 in the Assault Company, 16 in the Air Wing, and the CO.
Recruitment and Training
Recruitment into the OFM is usually done in secret, as with everything else the Order does: potential recruits do not even realize they are under scrutiny to see if they can be recruited. Recruits are usually taken from TSAB or Erusian Gardai units, and with few exceptions, are predominantly Erusian. The recruitment board, consisting of the CO, Command Sergeant Major, and senior officers will meet and evaluate each candidate. Contrary to expectations, the Order does not place importance on the recruit’s mage rank but on the mage’s potential and willingness to learn and be a team player. Records are scrutinized – sorties, kills, and so forth. Footage from recorders is then observed to see the mage’s potential. Rank – military and magical – is unimportant; the Order wants to see talent and skill, not just the best spells that can be mustered.
The next stage is a psychological profiling: the Order looks for people who are quite strong mentally, able to take the stresses and strains of black ops work. After this comes the most important step: the recruit must know how to keep a secret. Only recruits who are discreet and capable of keeping their mouths shut will be approached; Colonel von Long is crafty and has many contacts and ways for finding out things.
Finally, if the recruit is deemed acceptable, they receive a visit from Colonel von Long with an invitation to join the Order. Should the recruit refuse the invitation, both will part ways and never see each other. Should the recruit accept, he or she is then placed through Selection; after passing the tough Selection course, the recruit then undergoes several long months of training with conventional weaponry, tactics, and OFM skills. Once training is complete, the recruit is assigned to his or her platoon or flight; the placement of the recruit will be decided by the ground-level officers and senior unit NCOs.
With few exceptions, the Order is comprised almost entirely of people from Erusia. This is for several reasons: first, the Erusian spirit of freedom and justice, best summed up in the phrases “Better to die free than to live enslaved” and “Die for something instead of living for nothing.” Secondly, the Erusian security force, the Gardai, have over the years quickly become very good at counter-insurgency, CQB and intelligence-gathering, as a result of being on the frontlines of a guerilla war, first against the Erusian Resistance and then against subsequent splinter cells formed after the Resistance surrendered. Third, being slightly over twenty years removed from conventional firearms, Erusians are more open to the idea of using guns than mages from other TSAB-administered planets.
The OFM has occasionally participated in joint exercises with SOPCC units commanded by Lt. General Jack O’Neill. When in their exercises, they appear as “Contractor Group O, but we like to call ourselves Order of Freelance Mages.”
Known & Suspected Operations
- Assasination of TSAB Lt. General Jim Lansing on Administered World in MC 066
- Capture of former TSAB Intelligence Lt. Colonel Vincenza Blueno on Non-Administered World 101 in MC 071
- Liberation of Non-Administered World 121 (Belzac) from mutinous TSAB Navy and Enforcer personnel and destruction of rogue XV-class warship Exeter in MC 72
In addition to the above, there are unconfirmed reports of a joint mission with Rogue Squadron and several joint missions with the TSAB Enforcers.
Notable OFM members Colonel Erick von Long: Founder and commanding officer of the Order, first Erusian mage recruited into the TSAB.
Franz Jaeger: Assault Company Commander & Alpha Platoon Leader
Emili Nailo: Air Wing XO. Together with Shario Fenio, with assistance from Aurion Dauer, developed and tested prototype Type-G3A Ghost Armor and later developed and tested definitive Type-G3C Ghost Armor.
Sergeant Major Avery J. Ivanovich: Command Sergeant Major; former Erusian Marine Corps Scout Sniper & Recon Marine, known as “Mage Hunter” for skill in sniping TSAB mages during battle of North Point. Also known as "Invincible Green Style." Former Bravo Squad leader.
Master Chief John-117: Bravo Platoon Leader, rescued as a teen from illegal bio-engineering lab, enlisted in the TSAB Navy, sole enlisted platoon leader in the TSAB.
This is long and more than 2000 words. 2000 words is doable. I spent less than 2 sustained hours on this, iff all the little spurts were added up.
You better make a copy of The Holy Bible: John Moses Browning Edition so we can partake in your wisdom
Good extensive piece on the OFM's weapons and equipment, nice

Spoiler for Cooper and Key:
Their greeting when they arrived in TICTOCC was something they'd never forget however. The moment the doors opened, Crash froze, and then dove sideways with only a shout of warning. Fate was first in line of the reactionary reflexes, falling back and bolting sideways as well as, a blue robot the size of a man plowed into the group. Hayate would have been the one to get mowed down by the machine thanks to her slow reaction, if it weren't for Signum launching her own counter offensive on the machine, catching both of its hands and locking position with it. It gave a hefty roar that sounded much like the reving of an internal combustion engine, planted its feet, and began putting a significant amount of force into its aggression. Over barely audible shouts to turn it off, Signum considered dropping back and using Leavantin to chop it to shreds. Luckly, it never got that far, as there was a sudden click, and the robot relaxed and slumped over onto her.
"Aw man! I wanted to try a Verticle Brainbuster Suplex next too," a new voice whined. Signum managed to push her way past the dead weight of the robot to notice the source. A rotund man with blond hair and a bit of a gotee. He had half-moon spectacles and wore a torn white lab coat. In his hands, there was a device that looked like a convoluted cross between a video game controller, and a steering wheel.
"Cooper," Crash began, shaking his head. "I don't think it would go down very the Brass if you managed to pull off that attack. Most people don't take well to being flipped onto their skulls." He paused and looked at the robot again. "What is that thing anyway?"
"Oh!" Cooper grinned as he stepped forward. "This is just something I've been doing as a side hobby. It's a Multiple Engagement Guardian Automatic Sentinel, I just call it MEGAS."
Fox shook her head.
"You and your Robot fetish," she muttered. This was Cooper, the certafiably most intelligent idiot she'd ever known, and head of the engineering department in robotics and arteficial intelligence systems. The man who designed the Maidens, Battery, and Lawmaker. Cooper was for all intents and purposes, a mad scientest in all but name. He loved wrestling (rather watching it), food, caffinated beverages, designing AI, Giant Robots, designing Giant Robots, Building Giant Robots (if someone would just let him), and watching Giant Robots smash things, like buildings.
Most of the latter part of the introduction was left out by Crash as he explained the maniac to the Aces, which Fox was happy for.
Cooper pushed a button on the controls he was holding, and they immediately started retracting, impossibly folding down into itself many times, fitting more mass into space than should have been physically possible until it had compressed itself into a simple car key, which he hooked to a chain around his neck. Nanoha noted it, and labeled it a device in her mind.
"So where's Commander Roland?" Crash asked after a pause. Cooper turned to him as he bent over to pick the MEGAS up.
"Oh you just missed him," he stated. "He took the express up a minute ago, had something he needed to retrieve from his office. He'll meet us up on Pad One here in a little bit."
"So he left you alone in here?" Crash asked.
"Oh yeah right," another voice stated. They quickly focused on the key device around Cooper's neck. A little red light flashed on it as it spoke in a tone far more sentient than any of the devices they had themselves. "As if anyone would be dumb enough to leave Cooper ALONE in the Command Center for ANY length of time."
"Oh, come on Key," Cooper moaned. "Not in front of the guests..."
"And why not?" the Device shot back. "You're already using the MEGAS to see if you could wrestle with one of them. Don't think I don't know you better than that. You just wanted to see if it could fight an Ace. MEGAS is NOT a Toy!"
The device was arguing with him, it wasn't acting like any device they had seen. It had a personality, it was voicing its oppinion, and it was telling its own master off. The fact that it was telling its own master off seemed to be the one everyone was hung up on.
"I must apologize for my master's childishness," Key intoned to the group. "He's brilliant, but he can be a blockhead at times."
At a loss for words, Signum merely nodded.
I'm going to refference Cooper's assistant, 'James', later. Also, POWERTHIRST gag is coming up very soon in this scene. I wonder what Reinforce is like after you give her a caffiene loaded energy drink...
*Notes everyone's looks of ' ' *
I'll be going now... BYE!
Spoiler for Drops Flares and books it:
Considering the OC, I don't think Key's antics are anything unique to the CC's Although it does fit her personality quite well
And one more thing...
CHICKS DIG GIANT ROBOTS
Does Megas come with... the button?

In my upcoming Chrono Crusade Universe (you remember that, right?) I explain that certain characters (who will become known as the Champions of Men) have the ability to perfectly understand any language they hear, as well as make themselves understood in any language.
Ex: My OC, James Hughes, goes to Japan and talks to Maron Kusakabe (from KKJ).
When James is speaking to Maron, Maron would hear Japanese, even though James is speaking English.
Conversely, when Maron speaks to James, James hears English, despite Maron speaking Japanese.
This, I will explain, is like when the 12 Apostles received the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, and made themselves understood to all peoples - the "speaking in tongues" thing, only REAL and not just gibberish uttered by Baptists.
[/spoiler]
You understand that, right?
Having been a Trekkie before, yep that Universal Translater-like concept is quite familiar to me

Cocktail Dresses and the Silent Service Complete. Chapter 3 of the
12th Magical Assault Team
Spoiler for Cocktail Dresses and the Silent Service:
The sounds of small talk, clashing of wine glasses, and crowds of press, reporters, and senate officials filled the main hall of Pranor with old money flowing with dreamers, representatives blending with news media. It felt more like a ritzy fund raiser than the announcing of a new military unit, and Ginga knew it. "I still don't get why you brought all your friends Allan" she projected at the hefty figure, "but this better be helping the greater good."
"My my now Ginga, every military guy knows that we are not the Belkan Empire, with their military based society, we are in polite company, and we must act like the civilized people we are, and not the barbaric tribes which existed, and ruled this planet. Speaking of the Belkans," he began, changing the pace of the conversation as if it was nothing, " I must introduce you to this fascanting archaeologist I met. Daniel, I believed was his name..." Ginga almost walked off in a huff, but she keep her composure asking
, "Excuse me, Allan, I must leave you, just for a second... "Ginga walked off, while Allan smiled in the distance, before he melded into the crowd, the faceless, seamless mass.
Spoiler for Part 2 Real, Poltics, and the Silent Service:
As the crowds moved around, several younger members of the TSAB council wandered through the throngs of people, a counter current in the waves of the sea. "Ah, this is the life, boys, getting paied to party with the famous.." His arrogant cry was muted by a shorter, blue haired man, who shighed, sarting "We are actualy here to do work, we have to meet these numbers... but I don't get it. I remember being promoted after the invasion, and now we have to meet the invaders? This all seems dirty..." The third in the trio smacked him, "Devon, we don't have to be so investigative, this isn't official, yet. We just have to smooze, mix it up, meet the ladies!" The first raised his hand in the air, while the third, taking the cue, smacked it. Devon snuck away, heading to the refreshment table. "So," a voice asked him "I see your friends are jerks.." "You have no idea.." he started turning to the speaker. "how beautiful you.. sound right about now" Devon gazed at the young woman.
"Sein smiled, "First time I hear a guy saying that honestly... So what''s your name, sport." Devon struggled for a moment, uttering "Devon Dussander, miss ""You can call me Sien, just, Sien," she said, her light green cocktail dress floating slightly. "Sien... I remember that name somewhere," he thought, looking for the memory. "I know your cousin, Aura, Devon," Sein started "And she never told me she had such... cute cousins."The young man blushed slightly "Well, thanks.. "Aww, " she started, before regaining her composure, as an announce spoke over a PA. "The main waltz will now begin,"
"Well, Sien, will you, Accompany" he struggled for the words "me to this dance?" Sein slowly smiled, holding his hand slightly, "I'd be delighted," and the two headed to the floor, time passing around them, their own world the chief object of their concern.
"Silent ringer is the best invention of this age," Ginga thought, as she checked her device. "Master! The main storage facility is being raided!" The device's tone was unusaly tense. "Blitz, when did this happen? Why was I not alerted?" The device responded, "I lost contact in your conversation, and then a camera AI warned someone was going after the Mass weapons we were holding for destructio.." Ginga threw up her shoulders, "You can't go out there, Ginga, but I can,"
"Aura," Ginga began, "I'm sorry, but you may outrank me, but I'll stop the thieves. You deserve a party after all the crap you have been put through. It won't be much work, after all." Aura smiled, and ran off at the exit. "Strange girl," Ginga thought , as Aura ran off. "At least she's enthusiastic about this job.
"Set up! Weissritter on!" Activating, the device's strong Midwestern accent asked, "Shall we fly together into the stars?" Aura nodded. "We will, Barrier Jacket!" After a moment, Aura's silver party dress was replaced with an armored front plate, the white and blue color a contrast to the more purple fading sunlight. Her wings, thin and waiflike, allowed her to take to the skies quickly, as her blue and white combat boots dusted the ground slightly. "Weissy, lets aim for the facility, finish this quickly!"
Crates of weapons, guns, rockets, missiles, and a few dismantled drones all awaited inside the dark, warehouse. A old storage building for harvested grain products, the curved roof allowed small amounts of faded sunlight into the building. This was not on the minds of Arado, who was busily trying to crack the the hard lock on a case of ammunition. "It isn't that hard," a white haired girl spat at him, "Just remeber what we learned at the guild, spin the lock,"
"Turn the combination, feel the clicks, I know I know, I'm not that stupid.." the brown haired young man was still cracking forward on the lock, when he heard the click. "This is what we call it! I'll call the DC, tell them their arms are on the wa..."
Aura silently flew under the radar, attempting not to attract the thieves attention. Unfortunately for her, the duo had prepared a sot of warning system, in a perverse way. "Warning! Intruder Alert! Lockdown in progress!" Ginga, busy talking with the Senate commissioner on Military affairs saw the alert, and huffed expressionlessly "Miss?" the older man began, "I'm sorry, its just a useless text message, you know how it is." The man chuckled, and the two regained their conversational tones, while Aura focused on her battle.
"The ship will show up soon, but I'll deal with her," Seolia shouted, "Hey Cop, have some of this!" The red bolts from her skull tipped rifle forced Aura on the defensive, but her speed made it almost impossible to hit Aura. "Stand still, Or just..." she began, flying at Aura. "Have some of my Mode-B!" Aura was taken back at the mention of that attack, before several bolts of B- Energy kicked her back to thought! "On the order of the TSAB, You are under arrest, and I will stop you!"
"Mode-B" the device began, wile Aura aimed for the girls partner. "Have some of these!" A rapid stream of bullets managed to make a loud thunk on the edge of the box, nearly upsetting the weapons. A old shell, long incapacitated, rolled down in the center of the warehouse. "Hey, watch where you're shooting! These are dangerous miss cop!" Aura fumed, as she fired two beams at Seoilla. "Quickly Quickly, " she thought, "Just about...."
The battlefield was disrupted by the lone, nebulous sound of decloaking. A ship, unmarked and unusual in its creation hovered above the warehouse. "You are not taking these weapons," Aura began, "because, I will not allow Criminals to have tools of War! Mode-X, Full Authristaton!
Ginga felt a slight pain in her temple, as she mentioned budgets. "This is not going to end well,"
"Full Blast!" Arado held firm, placing out what appeared almost to be a beetle shell, "Try this..." He taunted, before a massive burst of A grade firepower knocked him from his stand. His barrier jacket held him together, but being thrown about 40 feet into a wall would not be the best thing, he would later tell others. "Dammit", he said, before fainting. "And now for you," Aura began, but it was too late. The ship had beamed up 2 boxes, and more were transported by the second.
Looking around, she saw the old shell, and smiled. "Glock Arts!" she began, placing the shell at the tip of her rifle. "Overloading Pressure, firing beam..." The device counted down, but Seollia would not allow this to happen. "Trying some trick, Seollia began, as she dived towards Aura. " I don't have time to play with you! G-Wall Full Power! " The massive protective energy pushed Seollia back wile Aura shouted, "Satellite Cannon.... Fire!" Her face simply had a look of victory, the shell pushed by magical forces drove through the hovercraft's hull, ripping a hole in its side, and engine.
"As for you..." Aura began, but Seollia was long gone. The wounded ship limped away, but Aura knew there would be cruisers soon after. This was going to be one hell of a mission report.
Glock Arts? Nice name
Nice action with the team there, though why is it I think you should've written more of Ginga in the cocktail party...

Gosh sorry! Must've missed it while charging through. I'll do that for videos.
The problem for me is that someone decides to post something with four videos embedded. Okay, annoying, but not that bad.
And then people start quoting him. And don't bother editing the videos out.
So that's four videos, quoted, say, three times, making twelve videos, without even including the original post.
Or perhaps a huge picture. Quoted seven times. That's a lot of scrolling, even on my 1280x1024 resolution, much less my other computer with 1024x768.
Yes, I only need to load each version once. But too many instances means that entire posts go by with no substance except spam, spam, and more spam. This is why I hardly ever reply to anything: because the thread has garnered too much clutter.
I get that pictures (embedded instead of linked) provide aesthetic value, although I only really "get" it in a detached, academic sense, since I can't imagine it applying for myself. But I really don't know why those pictures have to be full-sized every single time.
Considering the OC, I don't think Key's antics are anything unique to the CC's Although it does fit her personality quite well
And one more thing...

This immediately caught Jail's attention when Due discovered the twins' unique data within the TSAB mainframe. Over the years, the Doctor and his Top 3 will observe the Nakajima sisters closely.
They're not twins, Ginga is 2 or 3 years older than Subaru.

In a nutshell, a human-sized Gundam worn like a battlesuit. It builds on the idea that Frames must be everywhere in order to make infantry truly ubiquitous enough to replace all our familiar assault machinery like the Apaches, Abrams and Raptors.
As such, everyone can build artificial Linker Cores as it is intrinsic in the making of familiars. But it is the Celestial Being who always had the Colonel's original recipe, and hence the Grade Frame is much more powerful than the TSAB Frames.

Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-Ga-...
*runs*
So this remake combines the best of GaiGaiGar & Gurren Lagann in one package?
