A date has been given. It's Nov 10. Opening Cinematic
So, that's the Protoss way of establishing a beachhead? |

I just saw the trailer last night and is hyped for the release for Legacy of the Void. I'm glad that they beta tested this extensively since some of the units shown before were way too OP. I'm definitely going to give a try with what Blizzard is doing with some of the multiplayer changes.

MY LIFE FOR AIUR. I'm hoping we get to use some classic Protoss units in the campaign as well. I'm looking at you, Reavers.

Also, Pylo the Pylon proves he's the most epic unit the Protoss has. He may not be the hero they want, but he's the hero they deserve.

I don't know how many times I can keep replaying this and still get chills. It's a great tl;dr of Protoss story, and since the Protoss have been quiet for mostly all of SC2 except for Zeratul. This sudden burst of activity from them makes it all the better.

Archon mode being a supposedly semi-competitive thing. Automated tournaments? Revamped UI and 12 workers when the game starts?? Interesting.

That should cut every game by two minutes purely on builders and take some multitasking off the 3rd and 4th minute of a game, but I feel that the Zerg cheese will be hit for this - making multiple drones at the same time was their early game forte, and although they obviously benefit from the extra starting drones...so does everyone else, except the Zerg won't initially have enough resources to actually morph all these drones.
Other than that...good call. |

We're almost there. Can't wait to see how the SC2 story ends and going back to that universe. Sure, I'll be honest in saying that the Terrans were always my favorite race to play, but seeing how things go for the Protoss will be great. A massive campaign that will tackle so much including the huge threat out there.
Wish I could play it now, but at least we're now a week away .
