Just finished watching the first episode. You know... usually the female lead is the one physically abusing the male lead, so it was kind of funny to see the male lead thwacking the female lead for once. So many misunderstandings in this episode.

Still don't like the OP though.

That was an unusual OP. Felt like I was battling it at times to stay focused. Still have to say it was certainly 'active'

Can certainly feel Yuuta's dilemma here. Doesn't want to end up isolated again. Though at least would have a cute girl with him this time

. Is certainly a change of pace though to have the male lead throwing a few chops to the head. Should be a struggle for him to fight for that normalcy that he threw away in middle school.

I doubt this is going to end up being anything special in my book, but the first episode certainly was very fun. As long as it remains this entertaining, then it's all good.

Rikka's antics reminded of another notorious chuunibyou, Okabe, what with the evil eye thing and all. Rikka was as funny as he was. I love how serious she is about it, to the point she even boasts about her imaginary feats (the train scene was so good).

The animation was excellent as expected from Kyoni. Many gif worthy scenes as usual.
