The TPP has WAY more issues with it than just the copyright part. Besides, the copyright proposals, while pretty terrible, aren't exactly the worst of the worst (far better than anything proposed in SOPA/ACTA/crap...don't get me wrong, I'm a EFF Copper Member, no way do I support this thing and I will still fight it tooth and nail...) The global trade portions of it are way more worrisome, potentially causing falling wages and more outsourcing that would cause more unemployment in every nation involved with this treaty...it benefits corporations, plain and simple...
Fighting CISPA was way more important than this, IMO. Tho that one failed, we'll see how long before it rears its ugly head again...ugh. At least if you actually know how technology works, you're one step ahead of the government every time, but most people that don't will be the ones in trouble...
