I thought the title was about a "Feel good" anime... saikano, grave of fireflies... they give you that tingly feeling, in awe... but its definately not a "Feel good" anime...

For those of you who can survive it... theres... *holds breath and prepares for horendeous outcry*... Sister Princess.

Man, I'm still sitting here going "WOW!!" almost 4 days after watching "Like the Clouds, Like the Wind". I've had a lot of great "Feel good" animes I've watched before, but not one that's still affecting me like 4-5 days later. Definately not something I expected. Not that I'm complaining. Especially when that warm fuzzy feeling lingers this long. I like that.

Ehm, only ones I can recall are Ai Yori Aoshi and Pia Carrot 2DX, they're sweet little stories Oh, and DNAngel. I think Boys Be gave me this feeling as well, but I can't really remember it that well. There are a lot of old series that make me feel good when i think about them, but I think it's more nostalgia than anything.

Which one? If you're talking about "Like the Clouds, Like the Wind", it's available on Animesuki right now.

I think Xiandu has his animes mixed up. "The Place of Promise, Beyond the Clouds" is the upcoming project by Makoto Shinkai, the creator of Hoshi no Koe. It hasnt been released yet in Japan. The titles do have the word "cloud" in common so that may be the source of confusion.

To Heart - Number #1 on the feel good list. Helping people without wanting anything back. That's how life should be.

Too many shows to get a tingly excited feeling, so I'll list some heartwarming shows.

Princess Tutu - only some parts though, the end made me feel really, really sad. Somehow this show really softened me up. o_o

Stellvia of the Universe - I never really liked it but it sure as hell is good in giving you "awwww" kind of feelings >_>

Totoro - Just.

Whispers of the Heart aka Mimi o Sumaseba - Nobody must have watched this because I don't see it. Its hard for people who have seen it not to put it in here...This fits the category to a T and every other letter.

Kogepan - I can't give a reason.... !

Scrapped Princess - Why not?

And probably Akazukin Chacha. Lol.

My favorite "warm and fuzzy" series is Pretear. I'm a sucker for happy endings and I just love to watch it, especially the last 4 episodes.

Shows that have pulled a dumb smile from me.

Aria [does this every single time].
Keroro Gunso [when I can find an episode] for terminal frog abuse.
Kaleido Star [For the unsinkable Naegino Sora ]
Junichi Sato wins on so many levels here.

Kamichu [Yurie is the Goddess of Moe. Bow before her]
Someday's Dreamers. [What is important for magic. Mahou Tsukai Ni Taisetsu Na Koto. Title is self explainatory]
Haibane Renmei. Probably the really fun parts of this show are when the Haibane eggs suddenly appear in the strangest of places But a theme of redemption is a powerful hook for a story.
