Is the song played during the fights of episode 7 and 8 in the OST ?

I mean the one used during gurren-lagan Vs Viral in those 2 episodes

In episode 7, its the first song that plays during Dai-Gurren

You mean Viral's kickass intro theme? It's called Nikopol or something like that

The one I`m talking about only played during those 2 episodes, and never again (I think) and I dont understand why, because its the theme I was looking forward most to

Episode 7, at the begining of the episode, while viral is talking about the capital not being some small headquarters

Episode 8, during the fight between all the ganmens, Gurren vs Viral, and Simon using Lagan Impact for the first time.

Is that one in the OST ?

I've been listening to the soundtrack for a few days and I'm stuck to track 21. It just evokes some kind of emotion whenever I listen to it.

(On a totally unrelated note, YesAsia is shipping my order for the CD soon. Can't wait to get my hands on a physical copy. )

Yeah, its easily in my top 05 tracks. Very powerful tracks --- whenever listening, i think that back to that very memorial scene from episode 08.

Speaking of my top 05 tracks (in no order):

- track 01: ラップは漢の魂だ！無理を通して道理を蹴っ飛ばす！俺たち大グレン団のテーマを耳の穴かっぽじ ってよ～く聴

"Libera me" from hell would have been on my list, though i don't feel right having two 'raw raw fight the power' tracks on there. I do wish we could have got a version without the lyrics.

WOW...thanks for the lyrics! They are really great! I did not think I could love this OST even more, but now after reading the lyrics I love it on a whole new level.

The lyrics of "Nikopol" really suit Viral's character.

Also, "Trust" is a really great song, conveying Yoko's emotions really well - how she feels about Kamina and misses him a lot, and at the same time how she will keep moving forward and never forget him. Truly fitting!

Anyways, here's my top 5 tracks:

1) Track 19 - "Libera Me" from Hell
2) Track 1 - "Rap is a Devil of a Man" - too long to list the whole title
3) Track 7 - "Nikopol"
4) Track 13 - "Eat Sh*t and Unite"
5) Track 21 - "Pierce the Heaven with your XXX"
