A first CM with animated footage was shown after today's Fractale. It can be viewed on the official website (click on "Demo Movie" on the left).

Thanks for letting us know.
Wow... I just don't know how I can describe how excited I am for this show now
The animation wasn't what I pictured it to be, but I could care less about that anyway.

Haha, I think I figured out where they drew inspiration from for C.

Before you click the spoiler, first have a look at Masakaki's character design, the man with the hat and cane (Sakurai's character). One of the keywords should start to make some sense.

Spoiler:

It's confirmed to air on April 14, just like Anohana.

The ending theme, "RPG" by school food punishment, can be heard on their official website. Just open the page, wait until it loads, and profit.
Edit: Now on Youtube as well.

I think the animation is great. The eyes look especially cool.
I always prefer skinny characters anyway. I think they're a little more appealing.

You know, the more I look at the premise for this the more it looks like the love child of Phillip K. Dick and Ashirogi Muto...

I know next to nothing about this title, but it's already inevitable that I'll watch it for this reason alone:

Director: Kenji Nakamura
I'm actually trying to avoid plot summaries and previews now, since I tend to enjoy his stuff going in cold.

I keep getting more and more interested in this show, but I'd rather not overhype it for myself, because if I place standards too high, I'll probably not enjoy it if it doesn't meet my expectations. Especially for a work like this from which I've got little to no info.

I really like the basic idea, though.

Can anyone voice a menacing character better than Sakurai? He can mix smooth and enticing with dark and dangerous and never miss a beat. Just listen to how he says "youkouso" in that trailer. It reminds me of the House of Five Leaves episode where he spoke hardly at all except for an "Oh?" near the beginning which said everything you needed to know about his character in that context.

That was my problem with Trapeze. I'm trying to keep my expectations under control this time around. Maybe I'll give Trapeze one more try before this show airs.

It's still not clear who will be streaming this. Funi's been mum on the subject though they're the obvious contender. Crunchy has hinted it might be on their schedule, but they've been known to troll in the past.

I'll just mention that, as much as I admire Mononoke, I think its precedessor, the "Bakeneko" arc of Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales, is even better.
