Magical Girl Comical Yasuna got forced to boxing by the eye patched demon coach Sonya. And the opponent can be no one other than the unused girl.

The short zombie segment was my favorite part of the episode. Yasuna running in there with garlic, a stake and a crucifix was funny enough, but they really pulled through when she persisted in her delusion after she was infected.

The other part that really stuck out to me this episode was during the kite segment. Sonya tripped while trying to demonstrate her technique to Yasuna. She comes walking back, blushing and clearly embarrassed and asks: "Like that.. got it?"

The reply was brilliant in its blunt simplicity. "You fell! HAHAHAHA!"

It actually reminds me of the Simpsons episode with a film where a man gets hit in the groin with a football, and Homer thinks it's the funniest thing imaginable and demands that it take the price for best picture.

This episode was pretty funny. The beginning shorts where they were trying to make moon cake? was hilarious to the point it kind of hurts. I cringed and grinned so hard when Yasuna hit that person with that giant mallet. Poor girl, I wonder who that person is.

Spoiler for Codename KMB 12 - The Killing of Pyonsuke Revisited:

Yasuna has some weird dreams. This episode, being the penultimate, seemed to change the status quo up, if just a little bit. Sonya wasn't completely overpowered against Yasuna. Yasuna's still doing stupid things like kicking desks (and getting bandaged all over for it), but I think some of her friendship attempts have been getting through. If the ending visual of the three mains as angels is symbolic of anything. It probably isn't, but you can never be quite sure.

Pyonsuke 2 met the same fate as Pyonsuke one. Exploded into a shower of fluff. The scene where Yasuna messes with Sonya's dreams was pretty funny. And it only dawns on me after the fact that Agiri wasn't present at all in this episode. She'll surely be here next week, though, for the finale. And hopefully the Unused Character can make it too.

Spoiler for Code Name KMB The Final - She Might Be a High School Girl:

The overarching theme of this final episode seemed to be "for better or worse, Sonya and Yasuna are the only people for each other". That can be said in a friendship or yuri sense, I'm fine with either option. Whether they're trapped by handcuffs or trapped by a pit, they're always together.

Both Agiri and the Unused Character got some decent screentime this week, too, especially during the Sonya's birthday sketch. Her birthday might have bombed, but it still ended up being dynamite. Also, if you ever wanted to know what Rie Kugimiya sounded like on helium ([insert dig of your own wording here]), this is your chance. The episodes can really be watched in any order (except for the Pyonsuke thing), so the finale was really only designated as such by a few points, but...

I liked the series. As a comedy, it made me laugh, and on that front, it did its job well. Unlike many other anime, the distinguishing feature of this show is the remarkably small cast. The main characters, the unused character, Cho and Satomi Arai are the entire cast. And yet, it works. We get a greater insight into these characters (mostly Sonya and Yasuna) than we otherwise might. The author's been making it work for several volumes, and it seems to click with the audience in some way.

It might not have gotten a whole lot of attention, but I'll put it down as a sleeper hit. It doesn't have the sheer insanity of Milky Holmes or the meta commentary of Smile Precure, but it does have Agiri, and some pretty good slapstick and sight gags.

Of course, I'll be sticking around for Acchi Kocchi, which inherits its time slot.

I thought it was really slow at first, but I eventually got used to it.
Actually, I think this anime was one of the more stable animes this season and kind to the users, to watch. Despite not being hilarious, it is watchable several times (if you have time to spare) and just nice to chuckle at.
Yasuna and Sonya is a good couple and Agiri was a good character too. OP was........... annoying, but ED is catchy.

Very low budget, but at least the content was satisfying and that is what is important, unlike some anime this season that got it the opposite=wrong way.
