Ugh. I couldn't even make it to the eye-catch. I love when characters don't act even remotely human or realistic. It's wonderful. That was painfully generic and average which is pretty much what I was afraid It'd be. Oh well.

It's only the first episode and we've already strayed from the original material, at least manga-wise. This is not looking good, especially for Madhouse. Especially for Mahouka that Madhouse is gonna do.

But everyone acts very illogically and it makes no sense.

Okay, I assume he didn't see the gun at first and didn't react to her shooting him because he didn't see it.
But when he was able to see it, he still doesn't react to the gun. Even though, he's suppose to just be a regular human.

Even though faced with guys with weapons, all blonde girl is able to think about is the girl being called by her name.

And also the worst bunch of badguys ever, everything they did made it worst for them, and one of them even got stripped of their power.

Especially when they're of their world and knows that if a human is exposed to magic, they become magicans, and if they attack a magician in the living world, they lose their powers. So like, why would any of them attack with magic like that. They alone made two magicians out of nowhere they have to now deal with.

Thought it was funny that the blonde's magic is making her boobs bigger.

Forced myself to finish watching the episode. The character interactions were so incredibly bad. Seriously, what the hell was that about? It was so jarring that I found myself just rolling my eyes or grimacing throughout the episode as *stuff* happened. ie: "oh hey, a girl is holding a gun to my face and she shot at me, let's start talking about an accidental kiss though". Despite all the cliche's, the premise sounds a little interesting but the execution is a total turn off. Is the source material better?

If this isn't even faithful to the manga, I seriously doubt it's even close to the LN.

Yep, that was freaking stupid. Will still give this the benefit of a doubt though, since I manage to enjoy it despite all of the stupidity.
