Nice final but the battle of their partners with Four Beast was pure brutual. I mean that thing is going to rip off Sani's snake so badly and it even nailed Terry right into the ground. So their ancestors were also had a fight with Four Beast. That was nice flash back from point view of Four Beast. Anyways after this we will see chef festival or battle in gourment world I think. I wonder if things are a bit going fast. I mean I don't know what would happen in the future chapters but it feels like manga going to end soon since eclipse and the appearance of God is near. But hey there is also thing with Nitro's right? Maybe author makes up some nice story involving those creatures from gourment world. I am looking forward to see those chapters so badly :3

And also I'd like to state that the start of the chapter and introduction of kings of dinner was so classy. All of their wilder aura dressed in suit looked so cool in my eyes and so manly that made me feel so awesome deep inside.

People don't seem to understand that you still die even if you were eaten whole. Stomach acid in a beast that large would eat right through a human in minutes probably, much less an hour. It would be fatal long before then. Whatever, its Toriko and i've long since gotten used to biology being thrown out the window. I was referring more to the story impact anyway. Theres no sense of tension or loss when you think everything is going to end up perfectly in the end. It's a bad precedent.

Except that monster didn't have any vital organ, I don't know if you noticed that, but that thing was a root.

But anyway, like if it mattered at all how many fodder died or not when an important one got killed in one of the most brutal and imaginable manners.

If it didn't have any means of digestion it wouldn't be eating at all. Even Venus Flytraps have a "stomach" of sorts. Doesn't change the fact they would still die. Even if for some reason the digestion was super slow they still wouldn't be alright. They would die by asphyxiation since if its a plant it has no reason to breath, and as you say a plant has no vital organs. No lungs=no breathing.

Though I agree the fodder dying has no real importance for the story, it sets the tone. I agree that was quickly corrected though assuming that guy is dead. He is far more important then all the fodder combined.
