I took in Loghain and Alistair married Anora and became King in my end.
Well you have to "harden" Alistair through his personal quest befor to make this happen. EDIT: Ups, Saint already said that...

I just went through with a male character and Alistair is rather easy to harden. Hardening him involves visiting his sister Goldanna, and telling him, "Everyone is out for themselves. You should learn that," right after you leave the house. And then when he decides to thank you later for that lesson, tell him that it's about time. After that, whenever you initiate conversation with him, his voice turns slightly more assertive and his text changes.
In order for Alistair to appear in DA2 to converse with you, the conditions I stated earlier have to be met (it could also be the case that he could rule jointly with Anora/FemHN or have a relationship with a FemC but he HAS to be on the throne). If it requires that only he rule, then there's really one outcome where Alistair rules by himself. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Poss...smeet_Outcomes |

Alistair never becomes imprisoned. He either remains a Grey Warden, becomes king, is executed by Anora or becomes a wandering drunk. The imprisoned part ties in with execution. I think your friend confused it with Alistair imprisoning Anora. And Loghain always becomes a Grey Warden if you spare him, because the game requires two Wardens (including you) in the party roster at all times.
Oh, and first television commercial for DA2 now on Fox during Family Guy. |

Personally I think that they hit over a million a while ago and were just artificially holding the numbers back to try and make it more exciting. Hard to believe that in only a few hours that over 100,000 suddenly decided to try out the demo.
But yeah will sit out the facebook thing. Don't use it and enough is enough. It's good to try and get people excited, but enough challenges.

yeah but how many of the 3 million who bought the game keep an eye on DA2 news and would actually go ahead and dl the demo? I have quite a few friends who got DA:O but are too lazy to play the demo/dont wan't to be "spoiled". I maybe underestimating the enthusiasm given the 200k download in just a few hours. Maybe someone wrote a script to fake the downloads??? lol I am a little confused over the FB promo. They only need to hit 1million shares of a single post within 24 hrs of posting, or do all their posts have to be shared 1 million times? |

Actually, now that I think about it, it's something that gets unlocked for everyone as long as the target number is reached. Last edited by Who; 2011-02-28 at 19:51. |
