not fall? well that's a surprise. Usually JC will saved it for fall season. I wonder what will be the fall season if railgun is airing early and I think this one will be only 1 cour if they launch it this april.

Which means the fall is free for Index season 3.

Would they do it though? Or the better yet, would we want them to do it, or wait another year?
Index II had a rush schedule; and while I didn't think it was as bad as people claim (look at dem night lights!) I can't deny there are certain points which could have be better. However, if this was all planned three years in the making...

It's quite surprising that they went for Spring, but that leaves possibility of Index 3 for Fall. If everything goes well, we can have Movie (and Game) in about a month, later in Spring (+Summer for 26 episodes) Railgun 2 and right after that, Fall (+Winter) possible Index 3. A completly awesome year (ofc. depending on the adaptation). |

Yup, this is what I was going to say too. My guess is that Railgun might take the 22:30 Saturday Tokyo MX timeslot that Little Busters is currently using for the Spring and Summer (or I guess it could take the Friday 24:30 slot from Jojo), and then Little Busters will be back next Fall for its second half. In 2014, barring other series taking precedence, you could have Accel World II (which J.C.Staff does Compositing/Effects work for) and Index III. Of course that doesn't mean that some of these things couldn't happen at once, but it would seem to make sense in terms of major Warner franchises produced by Kawamura. (Though Index/Railgun still seems to be connected to Geneon as well on the music side.)

Sort of like how people were speculating that Railgun S would be in Spring because of the timing of it's announcement.
