But doesn't Ichika have too much pride in upholding his name to just change it? Couldn't he just keep his surname even if he marries?

There's always that third option of composite name, such as Orimura Sarashiki-Deviluke, or any combination thereoff. It's usually used in Nanoha fandom for the resident OT3 (Takamachi-Scrya Testarossa-Harlaown)

Does that even make sense? I just planned to have Ichika keep his surname.

Anyway, I think you mean something like Cecilia Orimura, nee Alcott. This means formerly Alcott.

If parents keep individual surnames, would it be odd if their children chose which one to take?

No, it's not odd as far as I knew.

I was wondering if it would creat some awkwardness if one child takes the father's name while the other takes the Mother's name.

Awkward yes, but in time that will disappear.

However, society might say differently.

EDIT: going to sleep, night.

Can you leave a bullet wound untreated for long?

No, you can't. Besides the bleeding issues, there's also lead poisoning and risk of infection.

Depends

The main issue is that most bullet mangled to horrifically bad shape on impact, if done badly, extraction process can do more harm than good

No, use several tweezers and hope you don't rip a large vein.

Igel (German: Hedgehog) is the name of Rito's machine, it's load out had changed multiple times, though only three are shown in detailed way. BTW, all of them are designed by Rito and Mikan

I don't think you would have enough strength, at least until adrenaline kicks in, and still you'll die in minutes.

Maybe, but not as overt as canon.

I think grade II/IIIA civilian armor is around 4-7 kg. The heavier the better.

Darkness hint that she develop feelings for Rito, but not as much as his other harem member so it's not guaranteed.
