Fallout from the previous episode, Stein acts creepy as usual, Kim and Jackie break up, and Tsugumi has an important choice to make. How do you choose one and not hurt the other?

Not bad as a whole - and I especially liked the confrontation with Tsugumi - understandable as a whole, but I still felt for her. Among other factors there is possibly also a fear of choosing a partner being a one way ticket to getting involved in the more dangerous side of DMVA's activities (a la the EAT class' main focus, it seems). Either Meme or Anya would be a good fit, though I kinda feel Meme might be the better one.... Hard to say.

Other than that it was not necessarily a filler ep to me as much as a transitional ep.

Oh yes - Dr. Stein has an odd sense of humor, but I was surprised that his patient went along with it! ^^

Pretty fun episode. Things seem to be heading towards a resolution regarding the partner situation; I gotta admit I've got no idea how it'll turn out. Although I feel Meme goes better with Tsugumi on a personality level, Anya might go better with her in terms of combat (I've seen the comparison that, in terms of fighting style, Meme is power while Anya is finesse; in that case, I'd say that a long weapon like Tsugumi would be more suited to Anya's style).

Anyway, I also just wanted to say again how much I love the ED for this series. The lyrics are really great, and I especially just love Aoi Yuuki in the individual sections in the first half. It's somewhat interesting hearing her singing in a 'normal' voice; although I've loved some of her character songs for other series (her Bluray ED for Madoka Magica, or Hibiki character songs for Symphogear) she sounds especially lovely here.

Certainly a tough call to be made. But Tsugumi still has to make one. Meme, Anya, or a third party. Sadly no real choice that doesn't leave someone hurt, just a question of how many you pick. I suppose a positive with picking Anya would be that Meme would forget about it eventually . But do have that gut feeling that Meme and Tsugumi do mesh pretty well. Anya does seem to shoot herself in the foot a bit with her tsundereness.

Honestly would be a whole lot easier if one of them just wasn't a match wavelength wise, but seems like both of them are fine options. Not sure how one makes a decision there. But sadly she'll have to. Just no way to feasibly make this trio work as a team since at any given time one person is standing by helplessly without a weapon. Sooner the better since the other person will have to start looking for a partner as well.

At least the aftermath of the last incident wasn't as bad as it could have been. Stein worked wonders and did have a good time messing with those three.

Stein trolls hard. Still, girls are real lucky that he was good-humored that day.

With each episode SE:N gets only better which is really really good.

...Gotta wonder how fast you need to move a dull blade to slice through leaves... Anya works wonders.

can't believe I totally forgot to watch Soul Eater Not since ep 8... lol

Just watched ep 8, and yea Stein is troll master, just when you though it was over, bam, trolled.

BTW, did he just throw Eternal Feather's robo head out the window and it runs off? Where does it go? LOL

With the way this series works, it may just end up somehow being the key to defeating Shaula.
