Loved the first episode (the animation is great as well - so reminiscent of Digimon's first few series, mostly from Digimon Adventure 02 and Digimon Tamers)... Gamudramon is really a sweet looking Digimon (great voicing, by the way, from Kumiko Watanabe)

Hm. I know Ryuu-Rogue isn't subbing this season, anyone else have any recommendations of a subgroup to go with?

Did they officially say they weren't subbing it? I was under the impression that the first episode would be out in the next few days.

They did. I checked their page yesterday just to make sure they were subing it and they said they wouldn't be up on their page.

Yeah, Ryuu-Rogue isn't subbing the new season. But while there hasn't been any official announcement as far as I can tell, The Wild Bunch (they worked on Digimon Tamers, among others, as their name implies) is supposed to be doing this one. We'll see how that goes, I guess.

From what I remember of their subs for Tamers, they're perfectly fine. Granted when I watched Tamers I just wanted the original version subbed in general; quality of the subs wasn't my first priority.

Pretty good episode, though I'm not sure how I feel about Tagiru yet. Ending of the episode made me grin, though.

1 year later and yuu grew so much taller?
In xros war 1, yuu look much younger than taiki.

Seem like more effort is put into gumdramon design. More detail and animation for evolutiion too.

The first episode was great overall. My only complaint is Tagiru's energeticness (if that's even a word), which is just a tad bit excessive. I look forward to seeing a more serious side of him soon, and hopefully I won't be disappointed.

Just saw episode 1 for this new season and I've to say, the story and delivery falls further down the ladder, compare to the previous...

The only thing I'm glad to see are the new digimon.
