Was just thinking "wow, I'm surprised Naruto hasn't run off yet." Of course I didn't consider they had to let him chat with Sakura for a moment before he could run off. I wouldn't go blaming the fog for his hallucinations either. He seems pretty prone to randomly doing that kind of thing. Such as when he went into that cave while chasing after Sasuke. Naruto might want to be the Hokage, but that's tough when you can't follow any orders and put the group at risk by running off.

Well FlareKnight if you think that being paired with Rock Lee is more of a punishment, that's your opinion.

I think even Ten Ten looks at it as a form of torture.

As she herself said:
"No matter how many lives I have, they won't hold up!"

I don't mind the "Filler" episodes, it gives me a chance to get used to the characters and to let some discussion happen so that people can become attatched to them. I hate the episodes that draaaag and don't seem to add anything, but I felt the last few have been strong and on point, as if it's building toward something.

You guys surprise me. I can't stand the filler episodes.
Filler vs. Manga Plot = McDonald's vs. Sushi.

I can't wait for the story to pick up again. Watching this filler is almost painful but I can't stop myself from watching it cause I'm too excited for the anime to pick back up again. Ugh.

Mmmmm McDonald's Big n' Tastey and McRib.....mmmmm

Anyhow, I see what you mean if you are that much into the Manga and the anime is behind, but I can see why it would please non-manga fans and why they would find it good.

I wonder why they are taking their sweet time to catch up anyhow....?

I mean it might please them. But even before I read the manga and I watched the whole Sora arc, I was like WTF?! So maybe not.

It's not as if they don't have a lot of material to work with.

In the original series there were tons of cool fights, same with Shippuden, but as for right now it's taking a back seat. My guess would be that this arc will lead to something big and we will see a knockdown/dragout fairly soon.

Hahaha. To be fair he is a turtle. They tend to be pretty defensive. Unless of course it's a snapping turtle. In which case it's liable to sneak up on you while you're swimming and bite your balls off.

Hmm I'm not sure the McDonalds/Sushi analogy is the best.
I mean not everyone likes Sushi and although it may just
be a burger joint, McDonalds is pretty good quality.
There's a reason why McDonalds' sale record is pretty much
exponential to the runner-up (Burger King I believe)

Sales isn't everything. If you go by the logic of sales = good then Justin Timberlake is better than John Coltrane or Thelonious Sphere Monk. Not everyone likes jazz but you would be laughed out of the room if you told a bunch of musicians JT > JC (coltrane not jesus). Same goes for chefs with McDonald's and Sushi. Popular opinion is pretty meaningless if you ask me. The masses would choose talentless drivel and trash over true art nine times out of ten.

I would hardly call the guy who flips the burgers at McDonalds a "chef", lol. But I totally see what you mean.

I flip burgers on my grille in the summertime, as well on my stove in my house, the people who make the food at the McDonals by me are all a bunch of lazy teenagers and the job requires no skills and no effort. I dated a girl in highschool who worked at McDonalds and she prepared the sandwitches and said it was the easiest job in the world, she eventually became and assistant manager for McDonalds before going to college.

Grilltop/Stovetop is all I really know cookingwise also. It's good to see what you're working with so to speak. Is it true that after working at McDonalds you could never eat there?

Another episode where absolutely nothing happens. Some thoughts:

So apparently, surviving through a tsunami is pretty easy.

They should really stop it with the Yuukimaru and Guren thing. Guren really has no reason to like him.

I thought teams of 4 were made for a reason. Why send a group of 10+ ninjas mostly chuunins to seal a Bijuu. Is it that easy?

And Tsunade is making herself the most useless Hokage ever.

Don't you think Naruto and Sakura are becoming more and more like parents who watched their kid run away and yet not realize it's they and their home's fault for the kid running away.

Well they wouldn't have the slightest clue, they simply see the whole thing as Sasuke going super bloodlust on Itachi, going to the guy who killed the Third to get that power out of desperation.
