KallenXLelouch is practically canon now.

nothing is canon until it gets canonnized
but it does seem like a more likely direction since that was the whole point of kallens character development this season (almost every scene she was in was related to her feelings for lulu
we'll just have to see what happens next ep (since it might be the last time we see C,C again)

I agree. Nothing is set in stone just yet. Odds look pretty good, but that wont keep the writers from screwing us over.
We will have to see what happens with Kallen in the next episode or two.

I posted my thoughts on Kallen's development all season in the Spoilers forum but it mostly got buried and passed over. That thread moves pretty fast.

Well I always thought it was a toss up between CC and Kallen for the love spot. After this episode I have a feeling CC will either die or Lelouch won't forgive her, perhaps both.

Kallen is filler now. Her major moments for the season are over. She will help Lelouch in the final battle when he needs her most...but that's it. I don't imagine them getting any alone time. The series is rushing too much lately and I think they are out of time for petty issues.

Petty issues do not include concluding a character's entire season of development. Seriously, they could end it in two seconds with either Lelouch proposing to her or shunning her.

Him proposing to her is hardly what I'd call mean.

The other possibility was thrown in there for giggles, but we know full well that Lelouch is incapable of pushing the women around him away. He could not do it with Shirley, he had to geass her, he no longer has that luxury and if Kallen's development is going to amount to anything no amount of lying is going to push her away.

But you're right, I expect to see them have a moment together at some point.

Dann is a good comparison really. I'm not going to harp about it in every thread. But I have given up. I now realize that they intended on ruining her character from the beginning.

Oh well...Gundam 00 starts in a little more than a month.

Well he knew it was over once he saw Schneizal. His brother had utterly out smarted him in every possible way at that point. So he just used the situation to save someone's life.
