I hate people who keep cutting themselves then always wait for the wounds to heal before trying again. If you're gonna cut, then just kill yourself or stop and live your life.

@ Senpai - I'm gonna make a small draft, can you read it and judge please? Don't worry, it's not harem or comedy. It's the scene where they talk after the incident.

oh... if they try the bleeding it out, they usually do it in the bath or somewhere with running water. Most die by, as zero said, jumping from really high places(Japanese saying: Idiots love high places.). Wonder if they still practice ritual suicide. Hanging yourself and drinking household chemicals is also an option.

Epic would be setting fire to your room while you're in it.

A previous scene mentions that the Minerva Kai's core unit is entering unstability, the unfortunate setback of putting an IS Core into a non-IS vessel.

Long story short, it's a race against time.

Either Fal quickly process the Minerva's ever-mounting combat data and brings it into Phase Shift, reconstructing the entire core vessel in the process... or risk having the unstable core breach its current housing which would result in the Minerva going kablooey.

Yeah, somewhat. Since Fal was in deep slumber during the course of Bouclier, so she never knew what happened to the Minerva during then.

In fact, this is recurring theme for Sacred Twins in case of Ichika, whose AI is hax enough to remove the limiter, of course, the limiter was there so the frame is not deep fried by it's own core. The monstrous Engagement form is the result.

So minerva's power core is producing too much energy that the frame can't handle it/does not have a means of expelling it?

I guess you can say both... but more towards the former. All the power usage in the past battles strained the core vessel so much that it's losing its own hold on the bodiless core unit.

Another thing I didn't really find amusing is how Ichika got the Setsura off-screen, after a brief dream sequence. I plan to show, in this current chapter, of my take on how a Shift occurs from within the unit.

Hence why I wonder if there's any appointment holders in the ISA that Praxidike could attempt to assasinate.

And I plan to have Inami go up against the Astra and a few more standard drones... alone.

On the other hand, I'm prepping some flak shields.

Many people passed by her asking her what she was doing, but she ignored them. She only had one thing on her mind right now. Sitting on one of the stone steps, a small figure sat with his knees curled to his chest, shivering. He stared blankly at the floor in front of him, not moving a single inch. He'd been like this ever since noon, and he didn't change even as the sun started to dip over the horizon. "Um....Saito-kun?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper. He ignored her and continued to look down at the floor in front of him, the only sound he emitted came from the rythmic sounds of breating. Kanzashi stood just a few feet in front of him, motionless, as he ignored her presence. She knew she screwed up, but what was she supposed to do? She had to leave for the hangar when it was mentioned her IS malfunctioned and her plans with him had temporarily slipped her mind. By the time she remembered, it was already near evening. Saito was so excited when she asked him if he wanted to spend time, just the two of them, going around the city. He'd felt sad the past few days, and Kanzashi thought spending time together as mother and child would cheer him up. She waited a few more seconds before asking, hoping he would reply, before she continued, "I'm sorry for.....missing our day together." She said awkardly. She never was good at apologizing to people. "...." He still didn't reply. She sat down next to him and placed her hand on his shoulders, "Something came up and I had to go fix it. It's really complicated-"As soon as the last word left her mouth, Saito smacked her hand away. "Don't say...anything." His voice was hoarse, like he had just finished crying. "It's always the same: Something came up. I had to do something for the organization. It's complicated. Maybe we can do it next time." Tears streamed down his face as he continued. "It's always like that! You always say you want to spend time together, but you never show up!......I don't know why I expected things to change here." This scene was familiar to her. As a child, she would always throw the same tantrum. "Leave me alone!" "It's always complicated, isn't it!?" "I hate you!" Each of these were words she said to her own parents when they failed to honor a commitment. Now she was doing the same mistake. "Even in the old time, you'd never spend time with me. Dad was the only one who ever did.....and he's too busy with everyone else now." The tears had stopped flowing and he sat back down, making sure he was a few steps away from her. This wasn't like him. He was supposed to be the more logical of the two. Why would he care if she spent more time with Aria? This person he was talking to wasn't even his mom, she was just a teenager with her own problems right now. The two of them sat in silence as the sun disappeared over the horizon. "Saito-kun, do you.....hate me?" She wouldn't have been surprised if he answered yes. After all, she said the same thing to her parents when she finally got mad about always comparing her to her older sister. That was the reason she absolutely refused to act in anger all these years. Needless to say, she was shocked by his answer. "No...." He shook his head softly and answered, "You never did it on purpose...so it's not like you're doing it because you want to." He had lost most of the anger and bitterness in his tone, but it was still noticeable. "Will you....give me another chance? I know I can't make up for today so easily....but I want to try." She noticed he was shivering more from the wind and quickly encased in a soft hug. "And I'll try until you never feel that way again." He wiped his eyes, making sure there were no more tears shedding. It wouldn't do to cry too much in public. He always tried to limit it to when no one else was around to see him. "Okay.....but I get to pick where we go..." He smiled brightly up at her, causing Kanzashi to nod enthusiastically. That was fine with her. The two sat there for a few more minutes, content in keeping each other warm for now. "I wanna Aria when we go back." His voice sounded hesitant, but he continued. "I wanna see dad too. Maybe we can spend a whole day together. All 4 of us....when he's not too busy." ".....That would would be nice." She agreed, laughing slightly. "Mom?" "Hm?" Speaking of scenes: Spoiler for Scene: ========== Within the matrix of the Minerva Kai’s core unit, the Iwaki Next ========== Digital streams “flow” within the virtual environment of the bodiless core unit as Fal, on her knees, attempts to control the overwhelming river of data swirling around her. “Urrgh… Darn… I never knew… ergh!” Fal struggles to keep her footing within an influx of data streaming around her. “Never knew… that so much data remained unprocessed during my slumber… Argh…!” The streaming data forms into a digital whirlpool stream, trapping her inside. “Tch… Got to keep calm…” Fal slowly extends her arms to her sides as the digital whirlpool begins to dissipate into comprehensible data that are mostly combat records and recorded feeds from the Minerva’s optical visor. She moves her arms around with open-palm gestures, directing various data around as she proceeds to watch the feeds. The feeds then displays the past battles from first-person point of view, from the first drone attack on the Academy to the Silver Gospel IS battle at the coastline. Through the “eyes” of the Minerva, Fal watches the past battles unfold before her. “These footage… He’s been fighting even when I was asleep…” The feeds then show the first-person viewpoint of the Minerva, struggling to raise the right arm while lying heavily-damaged amongst a pile of stone rubble and dirt. Her eyes widen as Lingyin and Cecilia, in their ISes, come into view, nudging the seemingly lifeless Minerva with tears in their eyes. “What’s this…?” Fal brings up the voice control interface as it brings out the sounds from the recorded feed being displayed. She then hears Cecilia’s despairing voice from the footage. “Inami! Wake up! Ling, what happened?” “The bloody thing shot him! He just pushed me away and took the blast!” Upon hearing their voices, Fal’s eyes widen in shock as she then watches Cecilia desperately nudging the Minerva for signs of life. Curiosity then gets the best of Fal, who then begins to browse through other recorded footages. She then stops to watch another footage showing the Minerva targeting a launched warhead that’s heading for the Academy. The Minerva’s hand grabs hold of a Vent rifle as the camera turns towards the Blue Tears. “Inami, what are yo—” “Saving your classes!” Inami’s voice booms from the footage as the Minerva’s camera shifts back to the warhead then dashes towards it with great speed. The rest of the footage shows the Minerva as the forearm beam blade gets deployed, slashing off one of the warhead’s gliding fin followed by the Vent rifle being aimed towards it. Fal notices the Minerva keeping a dangerously close distance with the spinning warhead as the Vent rifle shoots multiple solid rounds, landing several hits on the warhead which then explodes. “I-I can’t watch this anymore…!” She quickly shifts the footage display away, turning to look at the combat data slowly arranging themselves next to her. “All these records… These data… So they came with a price. A price that Inami-san kept paying over and over…” As the streams of data piles onto each other, Fal looks around and notices minor digital disruptions discharging all over the virtual area. “The core housing won’t be able to hold much longer… I need to process these data for Phase Shift as soon as possible…” __________________ "You cannot be bad at watching a movie. You cannot be bad at listening to an album. ...But you can be bad at playing a videogame, and the game will punish you and deny you access to the rest of the videogame."
