Killing Wrath?

I don't know if this is a spoiler or not but seeing as how

wrath has eds arm and leg, will killing wrath return his arm and leg?

i was kind of wondering about that and how they plan to get it back.. >.<

I assume that they'll rip off Wrath's limbs before they kill him. Otherwise they'd probably go into rigormortis and melt with the rest of Wrath. Er, Wrath's limbs, not the Elrics.

hmmm...dats an interesting question...u kno...I have no idea. If i was him though I would stick with my metal arm and leg...i mean he should grown quite attached to it by now right?

It's been made pretty clear that Ed isn't really worried about his arm and leg, he's worried about Al's body. What Kage Bunshin said could also be true, maybe he has grown to love the automail due to his friendship and possible more-than-friendship future with Winry. I personally would like to have real limbs, but I'm not sure how he would go about retrieving them from Wrath's body...

This brings up a question. If someone can be given others' limbs, like in the case of Scar, why couldn't Ed do that?

I think Ed will have to use an Alchemy Array, like that one at the 5th Laboratory or the one at Dante's Mansion to make Wrath weaker and use another Human Transmutation to recover his Limbs...

But... about that... If Ed's lost limbs are with Wrath, where's Al's Body? Maybe it's Envy's body? Because, after all, they look very similar... (Hehe, and Al must be taller than Ed x} )

Al's body is beyond the gate, isn't it? And for exchange for Al's soul (not the body), which also was behind the gate, Ed gave his arm (or leg, can't remember which). Al's body was given to resurrect their mother.

Wrath is the youngest Homunculus of them, and he was given Ed's limbs. Envy was created loooong before the Elric brothers were born!
But didn't they know their dad? Because I think they mentioned it once. Like "It's HIS children" or something.

my theory about the location of al's body was that...

it's still beyond the gate. my theory was that to bring one of those little shadows to the other side of the gate was that you needed to be a really strong alchemist, or actually i meant you need to have seen that "thing" like ed, izumi, maybe hoenhime and do arrayless alch. so even if a shadow used al's body, it wouldn't, by itself, be able to cross over, like the one w/ ed's limbs cause ed saw it right before he lost em and the shadow used ed's limbs to be able to cross himself. so someone from the outside (maybe hoenhime like with the other sins) didn't have to bring wrath here, and a shadow with als body wouldn't be able to come without the help of someone on the outside.

yeah, and about ed's limbs, i'd assume IF they killed wrath, that'd the limbs would go back to the gate or wherever the rest of wrath and greed go when they die

Homunculus have the same body composition as humans. So having limbs from a human (Ed) would not change the fact that should he conspire, his entire body would be changed into that magenta fluid
