Another question,Right now I'm on episode 21 and they said that a person can't be resurrected back, but Elric is sure that he can bring his brother's body back, since they've seen that other dude whose body was living with another soul or was it soulless ?So my question is,if you can bring a soul(Elric did that) and a body back to life separately isn't it technically a resurrection/transmutation/w.e. they call it,or am i missing something ?

We've seen that Truth somehow talks to Al through his body. I don't remember whether it was ever explained.

Well, we've seen Ed's Truth has his arm and leg, so it's assumed that the Truth basically possesses or takes control of whatever it takes.

I believe about 13. There are minor differences (and a lot skipped over) before then, and that's when it goes in a completely different direction.

Is alkahestry an actual word and if so what's it's etymology. If not, how did subversion get alkahestry from rentanjutsu?

Maybe it is derived from that.

Because rentanjutsu is mainly used for medical purposes as this hypothetical solvent.

Question for the manga readers who are also following this anime so far: Has the series 'Brotherhood' stayed loyal throughout to the manga?

It's missed out a few little scenes here and there, and kinda brought down the comedy moments, though apart from that i'd say it's a good adaptation of the source material. Still i'd recommend both the manga and Brotherhood.

Quite agreed. However, the moments this TV series did get right (along with some really nice additions) make it even more recommended.

uh, hi everyone .. FMA is one of my absolute favorites, and I've been eagerly waiting for Brotherhood to come to an end so I can start watching it, I don't do streaming anime. SO, was kinda wondering if anyone knows how long is the show intended to go on .. ?

Brotherhood will end at 64 episodes. It's currently on 62.
