Something totally random and awesome happened to me today.

I was eating in this Japanese restaurant. The food is so-so good, and the place tends to play some music from time to time. Recently, they've begun playing Japanese songs. The thing is, all of a sudden, for some reason or another, Voices started to play. Holy crap, first it was a couple of ballads than all of a sudden Voices?

I got a kick out of that for some reason. Ok, maybe it's also sad in that geeky way. Anyway, it made me wonder if the chef, the owner or one of the staff is a Macross fan or something.

Does anyone know if Voices has hit the mainstream?

Macross PLUS CDs sold very well for an OVA. Unfortunately, it was never as mainstream as Frontier's stuff. I was back in Japan in 96' and it would appear that Macross PLUS was nearly forgotten. I tried to get some of its merchandise, and it was very difficult to do.

Anyone here going to May'n concert in Singapore this weekend?

Clearly we need a few HERO(IN)ES who are going to the concert to do a write-up/report of it, take pretty pictures, make nice video/voice recordings (*ahem*) for poor folks like me who has school and definitely cannot afford a flight from New York to Singapore >_>

Most animebloggers will too I bet. Maybe we should create an imagedump thread on this forum so those who didn't go can see the stuff.

Given the poll results now... I'm surprised that Aimo OC and Ao no Ether aren't doing better. I thought they were the better two of Ranka/Megumi's songs.

Hopefully that won't stop some hero(ine)s from doing good voice recordings...I've seen a couple of her live performances (Northern Cross, Diamond Crevasse) but I'm really dying to hear more T_T

Frankly, all I've wanted was an expansion on the original Aimo theme, and maybe we'll get that this time around with Maaya's version or the duet.

Though a solo version of Lion would sound funny, I think it is the combination of voices that made it really sound nice, like What 'bout My Star? @ Formo.
