I have no idea what's going on so far... the synopsis says that Gandalf basically drank a Fantasia potion but we didn't see him remake his character and it kinda seems (s)he's been sucked in the MMO like Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear but his/her friends are still around so I don't get it.

I don't think I'm going to make it past episode 2 of this series though, if even.

I know this is Narou and not worth watching, but I think people should watch at least one episode to laugh at how immensely low-budget it was. You thought Overlord's CG was bad? You though Genius Prince was bad? Well hoho, looks like we didn't know truly bad until this came along.
...Well, there are other problems too, but it is Narou, so that's normal.

Now, if it could get Gibiate bad, then we might actually have a great anime. But I doubt it. I could sense greatness in Gibiate's first episode, but this... Nah

episode 1:

the only thing I liked is the OP theme music... honestly, watched the OP twice. The rest of the episode is incredibly bad. I kept getting the urge to stop the video and just give snacks to my pet cat. lol

not sure if I can stomach one more episode of this... but will try to watch episode 2.

BTW, the director of this show is the one that did Utawarerumono 2's anime.
Yeah, the guy that said he won't play the game he's making an anime about, to not be influenced too much by the original source and pretty much to shape the anime in his own taste

Well, it could be worse.

We could have gotten the Tsuyokiss anime guy who didn't like the game's story, character's personalities or character designs so he decided to change all three for the anime's adaption.

That's the GOAT.

So is this basically a reboot? A different but similar story or "alternate universe" version written for those who have already read the books, perhaps? I read the first book but it was different from this. Like it had a very different focus.

Better than the first episode (which is not very hard to do), but the CGI is so insanely bad that it brings down any charm the rest of the episode might have. I'm also not very impressed with the characters, so this is a drop for me.

as I say before, the LN is nothing special, just a read for when you don't have anything to do but this is just bad, time to drop it.

Dropping it too. I only picked this up in the first place because I thought there was nothing else on Tuesdays, but there seems to be after all. Anything else is better than this.

ok, improved. Better action than episode 1. And It feels like a normal show now.

I guess they had no choice except to lie about her real identity.

It isn't the worst thing ever...but sure it's that good either. Was kind of hopeful that this would be fun. But it's not quite there for me.

Glad it is good enough to keep up with for others though. There is some stuff to like in it.

Hard to enjoy it when you have watched Fantasy Ojisan. Ojisan is carried by the humor and awkward tension between the protags.

really having fun on this now. The drama with the guy and his dead sister was unexpected and mixed with some comedy, but it still put a tear to my eye.

I actually like this more than Leadale now. Because this isekai has better action and more girls. Hmm, if they give me more episodes like this.. gonna set aside some funds to buy stuffs from this anime after the final episode.
