Are there tournaments? I no longer collect cards unless I can play with them in strategy games (my Pokemon cards and Yu-Gi-Oh cards have been too much trouble to convince me otherwise, and I ended losing all but the holo ones anyway ). Speaking of holos, does this game have them? Shiny cards are shiny are shiny.

Yes there are tournaments in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong (final tournament is in Japan):

* World Grand Prix Singapore & Malaysia 2010 FINALS

Weiβ Schwarz (WS) is the latest hit in anime trading card games which pits heroes and heroines of latest anime or games against each other in a showdown of brilliance! Players can dish it out with their opponents using their favourite characters!

After going through several gruelling qualifying rounds, the top players from Malaysia and Singapore will gather at AFA X for the final round of the WS Grand Prix. At the end of the day, only one player representing each country will get to fly to Japan and get to compete with the top WS players in the world, for the chance to be crowned the top WS player in the world!

Mr Takaaki Kidani, President of Bushiroad will be making an appearance this year at Anime Festival Asia!
And yes there are holos. (the card below is a holo + autograph, orenoturn sold it for 12000 yen XD)

I would totally buy that for 120-130USD... Someone point me to another autographed item from Hanazawa!

Anyways, I picked up an Angel Beats sunshade for my car in the mail today, shipping was about 15 bucks though. Damn you EMS. Pictures up later, but it's just a generic AB pic anyways.

A holo + autograph is more valuable... But I think two autographs are equal to holo + autograph

GSC Yuri, now painted

http://www.moeyo.com/2010/09/db2010f...eats_yuri.html

GSC Kanade

http://www.moeyo.com/2010/09/db2010f...ts_kanade.html

Now we have painted version of the FuRyu prize-figures IMHO, Kanade's skirt looks a lot better than the GSC version's!

Already available for pre-order

Trading figures for 2011

The set will most likely consist of more than two figs

Kanade's pose in the prize figure looks perfect... shame it isn't a full size PVC. Not sure if I'll preorder the GSC ones just yet.

Why do they make the furyu ones looks so nice in the prototype? I saw the products of the other KEY ones and they were rather lacking.

The prototype is always the best looking, the mass-manufactured ones usually turn out less great
In the case of FuRyu, the finished figures might even look terrible (Little Busters! Haruka) or as good as the prototype (Little Busters! Sasami)

Wow, the japanese never fail to amaze me the amount of anime merchandise they could produce for a hit series. It also disturbs me that I'm actaully intrigued on what it smells like.
