I want to know why Shizu's wearing that hood in the preview (), more info on Saika, and perverted comments from Shinra

It's a helmet, not a hood. And the scene with him jumping up and down on Celty's bike while repeating "I'll kill him I'll kill him I'll kill him I'll kill him" was pretty funny.

The episode was good but not as fun as the previous one, probably because Shinra and Shingen didn't appear. I thought the first part with the reporter dragged out a bit too much, especially since it wasn't much different from his first appearance.

The second part was more interesting, with some focus on Anri (and a shot of her without glasses, waaa !), it's pretty obvious her parents are dead after seeing that dream. She looked so happy in it... ;_; . She also met Kuzuhara when she was daydreaming in the street at night, he can be a pretty nice guy when he wants to.

I guess this episode confirms Saika can possess several people. The reporter really was the one that attacked Anri, it seems like he was "infected" after getting stabbed by Haruna (long hair), his own daughter as far as I recall. Now for the most disturbing part... we know why Saika was seen stalking Shiuzo on several occasions: she's MADLY in love with him ! The most disturbing part is, she did her confession through the reporter's body, and obviously, that didn't make Shizuo happy

I don't know if Shizuo killed the guy or not, but that's got to hurt (oh god, the sound). We finally see who I assume is Haruna in the preview, she looks pretty damn cute (and crazy lol). Pedo sensei's got good tastes.

This is a mellow episode except for the last part. Anri's dream is... childish in a sad way. I never know such a colorful scene can be depressing like that. Something terrible must have happened to her parents and it ruined her childhood and her old personality completely. Now I'm certain Anri must have got something to do with Saika, although there's one more Saika wielder than her... Haruna, perhaps?

8 out of 10 for this episode.

Celty squeeing over how strong Shizuo is was quite cute. The slasher was a mysterious part of earlier eps they've really tied in well other briefly mentioned things. Kida still bunking off, but they might be setting him up for a bigger part in Izaya's planned 'war' than I hoped for.

What do people think of Anri? She's almost getting more character exposition than Ryugahime and Kida.

I get the feeling that door-crush killed him. I mean, that sound was just brutal. That and Shizuo seemed pretty damn serious about killing him.

Serious doesn't exactly describe Shizuo, more like uncaring whether what he does will kill the guy. The only time 'serious' would apply to Shizuo is when he's hunting down Izaya.

I don't think the Slasher is Anri, well yet at least going by the preview I'm guessing that the Slasher stalks/is in love with Anri but also psycho. Then Anri might get stabbed next episode and becomes a slasher. This is all just speculation so I could be wrong.

Still a really good episode, isn't Shizuo slightly freaked out by the slasher saying I love Shizuo.

Shizuo's logic is the best . There has to be a minuscule chance that gazing at someone can kill them. Thus they were trying to kill Celty right there and thus they can't complain about getting beaten up .

Though it does appear Shizuo has quite the fanbase in the city. The crazy knife has its own way of showing it cares . Again nice to see that friendship between Celty and Shizuo. Like how she describes Shizuo's strength like a gun.

The chemistry between Shizuo and Celty is just too awesome and so wasted because of celty being head over heels for Shinra. The only thing we get between Shinra and Celty is that she just do so many cute things when she is with Shinra. I am hoping that Celty find her head and pay shingen back for what he did to her.

Add, estranged daughter and runaway wife.

Yeah pretty much the worst luck ever.

Anyway, quite liked this episode and it seems the staff using "non-linear" storyline technique again that wasn't in the last 3-4 episodes. A lot of seeming random events are coming together again. We now know why Slasher is only wounding people and not killing them. Furthermore the possession seems past from one person to one another. Disturbing enough the reason Saika has been stalking Shizuo is because it is in love with him. Denis and mafia guy Shiki seem like cool people, but likely won't have much a role this season. Kuzuhara also looks and acts like a completely different person when out uniform.

Gong by this episode Anri seems to have lost her parents during one of Slashings at some point and despite Mikado and Masaomi good will still looks to be extremely lonely.

Celty and Shizuo are an awesome team, great chemistry though prefer not to ship them. They're better off as friends. The Van gang getting some screentime again was good, though Tougusa is probably going to kill Shizuo for what he did to the Van. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Walker draws/writes doujins.

Next week things look to be heating up with Haruna "visiting" Anri with all her deliciously cute psycho glory.

EDIT:

One more interesting thing to note that nobody pointed out, but apparently the leader of the Yellow Scarves has ordered all members to stay away from Izaya. Wonder what that could mean?
