What are you asking anyway? About Hayate's bad luck? Like I said before he's actually lucky but he just doesn't realize it. You wouldn't find yourself working for a super rich ojou-sama who covers all your expenses and surrounded by girls if you're unlucky. His bad luck is just a gag material used by Hata to create humor. Nothing more, nothing less, only if Hata deliberately sets an arc involving his luck.

Hayate won't pick either Athena or Nagi. The gem won't be destroyed, because it opens the RG. Until the path is reopened at least...

The inheritance issue all depends on the persons perspective.

Nagi doesn't really care about it. Hayate values money, because he knows first hand it's real value, because of his poverty, and the effort he put into his jobs...

Uhmm... the condition to gain the right to the inheritance is to somehow make Nagi cry, and say it's ok, right? Or was that changed? I'm clueless here, but why would Midas do that?
