@people laughing at Shou and saying it's still not enough: You guys are evil, plain and simple. The girl has suffered so much since that single mistake. She got cheated on, she lost the new guy she liked to someone else. What has to happen to her? Does she need to get hit by a car? Get raped by a gang of thugs in a back alley?

Geez... you guys have absolutely no room for forgiveness do you?

But you have to respect her (final?) decision to let go and let them take their course. She's no longer part of this picture, romantically at least, and it's good of her to respect that. It's easy to tell yourself you'll persevere and win in the end, but a lot harder to realize when to throw in the towel.

Assuming of course that kiss was like the last farewell or something.

Yuki having this kind of reaction to "little things" is established from her character and her inferred past. That Yuki sees a mountain in a molehill is to be expected if we consider how much she tries to protect herself, what possibly happened to her and how much she was hurt from that incident.

You know why some animals have tough armor? Because the inside is soft. Yuki is precisely like that. Yuki grown enough to let a person into her heart (Utsumi), this was some what built up over the chapters, but now the problem Utsumi faces is of a different nature. The fireworks chapter was a warning shot about her own insecurity, pessimism and fear of betrayal. However, that got glossed over when everyone saw the "good end" to the festival. This time round, this will be the REAL test to see if Yuki can get over her flaws and have a future with Utsumi. I personally think it is good if they can devote some chapters to explore all this and give us some character development.

Yuki did give Utsumi a chance to come clean. , in the sense that she "tested" him with her questions. Utsumi, be it due to a sense of guilt, ignorance or convience, failed to come clean with her. This feed Yuki's fear and insecurity, which lead her to say what she did. Frankly, looking at how Utsumi seems to be "spooning" Shou and how Utsumi SEEMS to be evasive after the act...I think most sane girls will wonder if something is up. Yuki was not wrong to wonder the same. Her problem is that her character and her past makes her see this as far, far, FAR, FAR more serious than it actually is or should be.

This is why I don't really see this as forced, because it is completely consistent with Yuki's established character. Utsumi only got past one hurdle, there are more to cross. I only bemoan that everyone see this as excessive drama and "stupid" misunderstanding, while not seeing the underlying issues that is brought to bear by this development. This is a chance for Yuki to grow more, I think we should relish it.

Yuki seems to be a bitch all the time , well except for Chapter 58 when they're outside and she finally acts the way someone should act.

On the other hand Yuki is far worse. Utsumi has been busting his balls to make things work with Yuki while she's done nothing but go against the current. I'm surprised Utsumi is still in the game for Yuki after she seems to not care one way or an other. Let her do something for a change and run after him... Utsumi needs to man up and tell her what happened. Then tell her he's fed up with her weak feelings for him that she seems to harvest. Let her make the effort to make things work between the two this time...

Not that GE is really innovative as a whole but at some time I hoped we would skip this trope and just imagining it made me happy but I guess this is what every shounen romance protagonist has to go through no matter what. It's like a freaking signature move of the protagonist so we can be 100% sure, oh yes, this is shounen romance and only now it finally can be officially called as such.

How can you blame Yuki after seeing that, seriously? She walks in on Utsumi hugging Shou from behind, I don't blame her. Utsumi fault for being idiotic again, he should have told Shou straight up that he moved on and he's sorry. But no, he have to be the nice guy and give he a hug to try and to cheer her up. I don't know if Shou is doing this on purpose, but she's playing the emotions card and putting Utsumi in tough, hard to explain spots. That's not right, she knows he's a extremely nice guy. How can Utsumi explain this to Yuki? He'll have to tell her every single thing that got them to that point.

She'll come this close to saying she likes Utsumi, then the next chapter is all, "Oh, just kidding!" She seems incapable of expressing herself, or communicating with someone she cares about. She is a passive-aggressive coward.

My only real gripe about this is that it came way too soon after Yuki and Utsumi finally started going good. I wanted at least a couple chapters of happy before it gets ripped apart. The other thing I don't like is, once again, how tired this trope is. It's in EVERY shounen romance out there and it's used more than once in each manga, sometimes repeatedly. There's so many other ways to introduce drama into a series and have the characters grow without them turning into idiots or doing the constant back and forth of getting them close and tearing them apart over some stupid misunderstanding. Author's seem to have tunnel vision, though, and seem to forget this. __________________
