Lyle probably thought Neil had died a long time ago, so he wouldn't even make any reactions. Then again, he gets to become Lockon Stratos and pilot the Cherudim Gundam. That's cool!

Lyle knows Neil survived it, he knew in Season 1 already.

Good question Kelrys. I got a few answers though....

1. Neil is trying to mask his identity of a member of CB.
2. He doesn't want his brother to be dragged into his "Sekai wo Tomete" plans.
3. He is trying to hide the fact that he has successfully seduced an ultra-cute bridge bunny onboard Ptolemaios.
4. He is trying to hide the fact that he is surrounded by 2 cute bridge bunnies and a hot-looking ship commander.

Still not sure if this is a great idea. I mean could just cause more problems bringing Lyle in. You have someone who would look and sound like Neil, but it isn't him. Worse he'll be called Lockon, but yet they know it isn't really Lockon. Kind of feels like bringing a ghost on board. Don't know too much about the guys personality and could make it tough on a lot of people. Might have made more sense to just recruit someone else.

That is one way to revive a dead character, and still stay true to the principle of "dead people stay dead", if some other character dies in the process, and a identical looking character comes in and says "im his/her long lost twin"

But Lyle's existence has been known since season 1 so this move is perfectly logical.

I think one thing we are all waiting for is Lykon and Feldt meeting and see what happens. I just hope it ends in lulz because i don't think Lyle is going to be as "self-control" as Neil was with her, especially now that shes Legal

I might agree with you on bringing him in the team and everybody expecting him to be as if Neil never had died,

but I think they will see it as been given a second chance, to start anew and correct their mistakes.
I also feel he has the right to join the team since his brother died for his family's sake and for his.
And it could just be the familiar air around him, Neil's been in the team for a long time, even when Setsuna was a kid, I think he wants him to be with him a bit longer, as comrades.
He's someone you can trust, if they need to look for a new pilot, they will first have to find a person capable.

I see no problems with bringing Lyle into the picture, I even think it's a good move!
Waiting for the meeting is like waiting for a bomb to explode, Can't wait to see what's going to happen

Yeah,can't wait too. Maybe Lyle will be more skillfull than Nyle or use different combat tactics. That Beam pistols with axe make me think Lyle will go mixing his attack with melee & range tactics.

I think the new Lockon will be a fairly decent person. In the special manga drawn by Yun Kouga he offered to buy Setsuna a drink to apologize for his drunk buddy who knocked over Setsuna's glass of milk.

Their personalities won't be 100% similar but I think Lyle might be similar enough to Neil in certain ways to give the crew de javu.

Now I just want to see Feldt and Tieria's reaction when they meet him.
